Hi ladies,
It's been a heck of a week. I would consider it a quite productive week, meeting with our European counterparts. We are merging their system into ours over the next year and have a lot of work ahead of us. They are very apprehensive to change and want us to make the new system look/feel like the old. I'm not for that idea at all. I'm sure we will find a compromise somewhere along the line.
I was only able to workout on Monday and Tuesday. Today and tomorrow will both be circuits I think. I want to hit everything before my surgery on Monday. Well Maybe I should do legs today...decisions decisions.
DH mentioned to me that my dvr is filling, but I reminded him that I am off the next 4 weeks and will either watch or delete the shows very soon.
I need to finish up my xmas shopping this weekend. Since I can't drive for 2 weeks. I'm happy to do that and then will have my recovery time to wrap gifts and send out xmas cards since I haven't done that either.
Lori-it sounds like you had a good time even though you never made it to the party. Hope your training session goes well.
Wendy-Are you getting a tree and decorating today? You've mentioned before you don't like cooking, me neither. I cooked a lot more when the kids were little, but once they all started complaining and wanting something different I gave up. DH and DS2 do most of the cooking. They cook on the grill on a fairly regular basis, even in winter. They put on their coats, hats and boots and fire up the grill. This works well for me.
Laura-nice article on Auburn. Folks do get busy this time of year, but its important to make fitness a part of our everyday lives. Hopefully your class is of that same philosophy.
Jacque-sounds like we are both in the same boat regarding work. Usually year end is quiet time for IT. We do have some work to do regarding year end but that doesn't usually happen until the last week of Dec. and first week of Jan.
Happy Saturday!
