I guess Wendy is getting to sleep in AGAIN today...unless the UPS man wakes her up:D

Last night we went to meet with the Lia Sophia gal and to finish up our order. We get alot more free stuff then we thought:) We get 2 items as a hostess special...so you pick your most expensive item for 16.50 unless otherwise stated. Then you get a half off item.....then we got $350 of free stuff!:eek: Which apparently still isn't enough cause I can't make up my mind:p I know I should be smart and buy for the few women I have on my Christmas list...but I don't wanna....I want it to be all about ME!:)

And last night she approached me on being her PT....even before my course is complete. My stress level immediately shot up:confused: Ugh! I think she could be hard to work with...or maybe not. But I know she is willing to pay me good. I haven't even wrapped my head around what I am doing or how much I will charge people. She has a very strong personality which is great...she says it like it is but I guess I am so far on the other end of the spectrum that it scares me a little!:eek:

Wendy** Why not clue up D1 in the first 2 days? I am trying to remember what the first few workouts are like. I think it goes back and forth,doesn't it? At first I was thinking that it did one body part at a time but I think that's Meso 2. If you get better results with the 2nd workout I would do that but would you have trouble fitting workouts in if you miss them? I guess you could always double up on the weekend? I can't wait to get to my designing programs book! LOL I will be designing one for myself right away!:p

O.k....coffee is disappearing and my goal is to be outta here in 15! I don't think I am fully ready for this today:confused: Once again...I should have went to bed earlier!

Lori:: I don't want to do D1 on back to back days b/c of recovery time/DOMS. I want to allow the muscles to recover before hitting the same body part again. If I miss a work out I will just do it the next day and then move on from there. As for the LS girl wanting you as her trainer? Go for it! Just make her wait until you are certified and have a plan in place. If she can't wait then to heck with her. :rolleyes:
 
Hi Ladies,

I went to work early and didn't leave until 6:50 last night. This going in early and leaving early isn't working out at all for me. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I will see a difference, otherwise I'm going back to my late start hours.

Jerod has a scrimmage this morning. I will be dropping him off shortly, but the parents don't need to be there until 9:15 or so. I'm glad this scrimmage is in the morning, we could hit 98 today.

I'm starting back with Insanity today. Not sure what the workout is but it will get my feet wet with it this morning. I just remember they are longer workouts, about an hour.

I rode in an audi S4 yesterday....now I want one. I looked them up on line and they start at 45K. That's definitely not in my price range for a car, but it was really nice. My coworker traded her porsche straight across for it.

Lori-hope you find some nice pieces of jewelry for yourself. Nothing wrong with splurging on yourself IMO. You have all of us for guinea pigs, we could send you our goals and you can create programs for all of us!

Wendy-Hope you enjoy your new w/o's SB is a fun one but takes a while to learn. I think either one of your STS rotations will work great. Personally, I prefer to focus on either weights or cardio in a w/o so I like your second choice. It's easy for me since I can also w/o at lunch so I have the option of doing cardio in the AM and weights at lunch or vice versa. If you want more cardio what about adding an additional cardio day between STS.

Jacque-What are you up to this weekend? Sounds like you don't have to work so that's a good thing. I need to do some work this weekend, about 2 hours worth but I can do it from home.

Hey Girls!

Workout is complete and I am settling into work...and can't you tell I am really hard at it!:p Did 21.3 km and thats all she wrote. Im guessing the dog will sleep the day away.

Just got off the phone with SIL. So tell me if Im wrong here. MIL had a Lia Sophia party about a month ago and she got 4 hostess specials and a PILE of free stuff...and I mean a PILE! We only get two specials b/c we shared the party. MIL just asked SIL for one of her specials!:mad: Can you believe that? After all the loot she just got and now she wants more?? The only reason why she got so much free stuff if b/c we booked a party from her party. I think the point in ordering specials is to buy yourself something really nice that you wouldn't normally. Anyway..Im very irritated by it and I think its awful! But thats it...if she is dumb enough to give it to her. She also asked her what she was buying me? I have my own stuff...why should she have to buy me anything?

Wendy** I will have to wait until my course is finished or close to it before I start training someone. I can't add something else to the big pile right now. Work,training,studying and then every day duties...just not gonna happen. Im sure she will wait. She would be a great guinea pig in the meantime but I just don't have to time right now. When my course is almost complete and the mary is over...then I will have more time on my hands. Nice workout today...btw!;)

Diana** I know, there are a reason why these vehicles are so nice....they come with a nice price tag! Mine was in the $30's and thats to much for taking me back and forth to work. What you were in yesterday would probably cost $60 here...everything is more expensive here.

O.k...I should get some work done, then do some studying.

Hi ladies,

Max Interval Plyo kicked my butt this morning. This is a great workout and I could do almost all of it. I do struggle with the plyo pushups though. I modify and do a pushup, jump my feet in then lift my hands off the floor. I simply do not have the upper body strength to plyo push myself up.

The football scrimmage was pretty good and Jerod got plenty of playing time. The freshman scrimmaged the jv team, they ended up losing but it was a nice practice for both teams.

DH and I are emptying our extra large freezer in the garage to defrost it today. Not a fun chore, but will be happy when it is done.

Lori-wow you had a nice long run this morning. The HM training program has me running 7 miles tomorrow. I think I'm going to gracefully bow out of the HM and let my coworker know. Wow, I would let MIL know that she is more than welcome to order whatever she likes, but the hostess gifts were already split between SIL and yourself. Seems a little rude for her to even ask IMO.

Never finished up my wts last night so will hit them this AM and Cardio Core Circuit is supposed to be today's workout. We'll see how much I feel like doing. It was ugly out and the sun is just beginning to shine - that makes me lazy on a weekend morning. Not sure what time the wine event begins but guess I'd better check on that too.

Wendy - your rotation sounds good - reminds me a little of 4DS - I think at one point I did STS one body part per day and just ran through all the exercises for that body part. It worked well for me. Wondering if you have finished one of your open wine bottles yet to uncork a new one? Yes you deserve a wine rack - we got a cool one at Korbel which is a wall rack - scrolled iron free form that I haven't put up yet. Thanks for the reminder ! :p

Lori - LOL that you lost your study guides . . . that was definitely a trip you'll never forget I'm sure. ITA about MIL wanting more more more. Wow is all I can say to some people. Nice that you have a client possibility already. When do you contemplate being finished? Your mary is in Oct, right?

Diana - I know how your worklife is going . . . I've enjoyed working out in the AMs and have done a pretty good job at it - coming home too late to want to do it at night lately. I don't have to work, but think I will do a little if I feel like it. My boss comes back Mon and I have some new projects coming up soon that I'd like to research a bit. Want to write a killer review plan too since bossman doesn't seem to be very motivated. My training consultant and I discussed yesterday - I heard about one another VP put together for a co-worker and it was great and so motivating. I want that too ! The Audi's are sweet for sure - one of our VP's started with the 4 and just switch the last two to the 6's. I have a Lexus RX350 that ran about the same $ but I got it for quite a bit less as it was a loaner from the service center - perhaps you could get a used one that has been well taken care of? I would have paid more for a new Toyota Highlander at the time and definitely got a better deal. Mine had only 16K miles on it, I've had it for 3 years and it's at 48K now. Will need to figure out what to do when I have to start commuting cuz I'm not gonna put that many miles on my car !

Jacque-I've had my eye on the RX330 for a long time. Even those are pretty pricey for us. Like you said, if I can find a used one in good condition that's the way we'll go. I have a couple years until I can get a new car anyway, but why not start looking around now!:p Have a great workout today!

Back to report bi's/tri's and CCC express completed.

Diana - they are pricey and I wasn't looking to spend as much, but new cars were more expensive. And . . . our other car is a 1991 Sierra long bed truck, V8 4WD. So we only have one car payment, TG with DH not working much. When mine is paid off, possibly before, we'll need to do something for him. And I keep my cars at least 10 years anyway, this one perhaps longer. I drove mini vans for 20+ years and this was my treat - DH loves it more than I do ! :p

Not going to the wine event :mad: need to go blow off some steam.

I'm back finally. After I cleaned the house and had lunch I took DS to Chuck E. Cheese for a while. When I got home I was starving so I just shoveled a snack into my pie hole! Now I'm relaxing for a few and then I have more laundry to do. :rolleyes:

Thank you all for the feedback on my STS rotation ideas. I have time to decide what I will do! Oh and that reminds me, I am not getting the new work outs until Monday. Bummer. Guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday to try one! ;)

Jacque:: Nice work out! I considered doing CCC cardio only premix today but after the leg work I did, it would have been way too intense for me. I ended up purposely picking a cardio w/o that focused on upper body! :p

Diana:: Nice job on your work out this morning! I haven't done any of the M2's in a while with the exception of MIST which I have done maybe a couple of times. Glad Jerod got lots of play time at the scrimmage. Good for him. The coach must think he's quite an asset to the team! :)

Lori:: Nice run! Tell your MIL to keep her grimy mitts off your SIL's specials! :mad: Will your SIL give into her?? I don't blame you for not wanting to put even more on your plate by agreeing to train before you are completely ready. Getting overwhelmed is NOT a good feeling. Makes me VERY cranky. :eek:

Ok, better get movin' again but I'll probably be back! :cool:

Hung out in the backyard in the sun on my lounge chair reading my "Success" magazine given to me by our "Training Consultant" who is working with the execs of the company. Thankfully I'm 'on the same list' as she is to train me upward . . .

Great tips - hoping to post some of the wisdom on FB a little later.

From my lounge chair I hopped into the spa and am trying to get the drippys under control before I don my comfy wear for din din. :p

Wendy - Woo Hoo I got my BH DVD's today - now will have to rethink my rotation . . . that ol' exercise add ya know . . . :rolleyes: LOL at the 'pie hole' comment - always makes me think of Miss Lori, Ha ! Yes, I was surprised, pleasantly, at the burn in the legs from the CCC express. Felt like my thighs were harder than rocks by the end! Bummer you didn't get your new workouts ! :confused: What happened?

Off to rid myself of the dripping bathing suit - check y'all in the AM for sure !
