Damage Control November :)

Hi Ladies,

Is it Monday already? Back to work for this gal. I finished up discs 7/8/9 of STS. I'm already missing the BR Challenge and may revisit it starting today!

This is the 3rd week of the cleanse-started on Friday, only 3 days left since I plan eating turkey on Thanksgiving. :D The food has been good, but I'm tired of spending my time in the kitchen. To be honest, it hasn't been that bad, but cooking just isn't my thing. Most meals take under 30 minutes and I make extra to have throughout the week. Some of the folks are talking about following a VB6 eating program where you eat vegan before 6pm, then eat your normal protein with dinner.

The PT for my knee isn't making much difference. After the next session the therapist will decide if I need an MRI to determine the root cause of my pain.

Wendy-good luck with HC 101! The BR Challenge w/o's are 45 min to an hour or more, not just the 12-20 minutes normal stuff. I think just one of the w/o's was only 30 min. They incorporate weights now too, more so than in the past.

TG-hope you had fun with Imax 2! Enjoy your clean house when you are done. It's so much work and doesn't last long enough for me. You sound like you are recovering well if you were able to do a step w/o.:) Keep up the good work.

Laura-What w/o did you and SIL end up doing? Did you get a chromebook? How was your weekend?

MON - UGH

Morning Ladies ..

Had a great weekend .. Fri ZWOW #49 - aka:burpee h##l like to have killed me!!!! yes that was a total of 150 competion burpees!!! I was gasping for air .. and toward the end my burpee form was terrible!!! but I made it and was a gasping sweatball! SAT .. SIL had never done supercuts .. so we did that .. I was really sore in my chest and butt .. but made it thru .. Ystdy me and DH went early black Fri shopping .. :eek: .. we got some major deals!!!

Di - so you are almost done w/the cleanse wow .. you are better than I .. I couldnt have done it!!! CONGRATS!! I bet your tummy is gonna rebell once it gets some REAL fattening food on it!!(that may be the real "cleanse" ... lol.. jk) :confused: I know mine would!! :p but do ENJOY!!!

Wendy .. I am gonna go check out that website .. I got the Chrome but couldnt get it to connect w/the wifi here ..was trying to set it up to watch/do ZWOW here at work after hours .. IDK if the wifi security is the problem or what .. ??? .. I am gonna try again tho!

TG ... IMAX 2 ??? I would say you ARE recovered .. LOL!!

Not sure what is on tap for today .. either a ZWOW .. or a X10 .. need cardio .. b/c we were late eating last night and i wasnt good - Buffalo Wild Wings .. this week is going to be a heavy calorie week - have a GGT tmrw after work .. then WED we are tailgating at work ... cooking soup n cornbread and everyone bringing snacks .. gearing up for our big RIVALRY game this SAT .. then of course all the T-day food .. guh!!! :confused:

OK .. better run .. have a great one .. it is FREEZING in the deep South today .. was 30 this morning .. it is to storm tmrw .. then cool back off .. then T-day and Friday it is to drop back down into the 20's .. BBBBRRRRRRRR!!!
 
Ok well I didn't have enough time to FINISH but I did a decent amount of HC Nov 101 this morning! 20 mins by my watch BUT I took more then a few extra breaks! :p Anyway it seems to be sequenced core-lower body-core-lower body etc and I got through 2 cores and 2 LB's so I am happy! :) I followed it up with a kb swing tabata.

TOUGH WORK OUT! :eek:

This morning, I had a lame workout; I only did 34:00 minutes on my treadmill, just wasn't feeling it for reason. But, I will bounces back:rolleyes:
 
Did my third and final round of LF The Covet Work Out this morning and it still kicked my azz just as hard as the first time! :eek:
 
Hi Ladies,

Yesterday I did the BR Challenge Day 2 in the a.m. and STS Disc 10 (CSB) at lunch. I didn't re-do my 1 rep max's before starting this round of STS and my strength is definitely less than it has been in the past. I'm using my last round STS worksheets, disc 10 was super tough for shoulders & biceps using my last rounds weights. I even dropped down a bit on a few exercises.

This morning will be BR Challenge Day 3, and perhaps Legs this afternoon. We get off work at 2pm today.

It is my weigh in day and am up a tad, less than a lb. but am feeling good. This cleanse will be over, but I have some cleanse food left and will be making several of the recipes over the next week. Then it will be back to counting points for WW.

Wendy-you are rocking the HC w/o! I have the Bootcamp one and it is tough. It is a circuit of HIIT cardio/abs and it just kicks my butt every time. Loving fit has some great w/o's IMO too, she does talk a lot but I just tune her out.:p

TG-nothing wrong with a run on the treadmill. Something is better than nothing and you did it!!!:D

Laura-from your last post, this is FoodFest week for you.;) Enjoy, but not too much!

Just wondering do you have to pay for BR workouts?

Di:: I do have HC BC. First one I bought. Dumb move. I know. :eek: That woman is crazy! :eek:



Today's work out was Week 5 Day 13 of my MCT app - 8@10/20 of each of the following exercises: jump squats, plank holds, jumping lunges and tricep dips then I did 5 mins of Turkish gets up. 2 per side then switch. No rest. OUCH! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!! Hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday with family and friends.

I have some of my cleanse foods left and meals from this week that I haven't yet prepared. This morning I will be making Pear & Quinoa Porridge for breakfast for DH and myself. Some of these recipes have been really good.

We are going to my SIL's and we all bring food while she cooks the turkey. It works out great! I'm making a very fattening but delicious sweet potato dish with a butter & brown sugar topping! It was SIL's request.

Today will be disc 11(B&T) and BR Challenge Day 4. Earning my meal today!

Wendy-Nice job on the HC 101...you will soon have abs of steel! She makes it all look so easy too. Turkish Get Ups are hard for me. Are you using a weight, or perfecting form sans weight? I really need to get the rest of the weight off and then I want to try doing some of the shorter Zwow's and BR's and see if I can maintain with those types of w/o's.....of course watching what I eat which is much more challenging than any w/o IMO.
