ood Morning Girls....even though it's Monday morning!!
Actually, I'm not really bothered by going to work today. Maybe I am getting over the hump! LOL
A couple of funny things happened yesterday that I just HAVE to share....b/c I can't really tell anyone else.
I FINALLY convinced DH to do a Cathe workout with me. Actually, I didn't really leave him much of a choice. I was getting ready to go for a run and just before I left I said " when I get back we are going to do the Cathe workout I just downloaded" (It worked after) He wasn't to impressed but then I reminded him that I slept in a tent last year, and scooped up a salmon and he expects me to do the same this year....so he best put his sneaks on. I thought I was gonna die when we were working out. I try not to laugh but I can't help it. I thought we were going to be fine with the weight selection b/c you know...a man and a women would never use to same weight.....not in my house! We did CTX ( i did anyway) and he called it quits at the beginning of the shoulder workout. He said "don't you think this is a bit much" LOL He was dying! We ended up switching weights at the end b/c the 20's he was using was to heavy, so I gave him my 15's and used his 20's. When he got out of the shower yesterday evening he had trouble washing his hair then. Anyway, I think we both realized yesterday that he isn't in the best of shape anymore. He was ruining my workout b/c when I would be lifting or doing pushups, I would see him working like a dog from the corner of my eye and then I would bust a gut and have to stop what I was doing!!! Let's see how he feels when he wakes up.
Also...I took the dog with my on my run yesterday. Another one in the house not in the best of shape. They say Lab's are known for bouts of energy...not continous running. He did 10km though and he was actually a pleasure to run with. I never use to take him with me b/c when there were two dogs I couldn't leave one home or the other would have a fit.
One more thing...I think my running partner is going to drive me loonie. Ever since our marathon, that is all she wants to talk about...running and marathons. DH said she called yesterday while I was out for a run (she was at work and I don't know why he didn't answer the phone) and he said she let about 10,000 rings go in. Last week she called and was reading marathon stuff to me on the phone...seriously...do I look like I have the time to be read to? I don't have the time for that crap. She blows in here in the evenings or calls to see if I want to go for a run and i always tell her that when I am on call I don't go for a run in the evenings...she is just not getting it! I thought she called yesterday to see if I wanted to go for a run but she called again last night while we were at my inlaws for dinner so I have a feeling she is calling to tell me she signed up for the marathon I am doing in Oct month. Its like this marathon running monster as been created!
Ok...enough about me!
Wendy** I never did do the 1RM, probably why I didn't see any crazy results from the workouts. I just didn't have the time. And I still don't have the time. I kind of need help when it comes to that, cause I can lift heavy....just need to get it up to my shoulders. But then again, do I really want to lift heavy with legs? Cause you know whats gonna happen there! They will bulk up. Im not worried about being in the unemployment line...it will never come to that. They won't find anyone to do what I am doing now. Not everyone will cover 24 hours and only get paid for 12.
Diana** I think when the computer would go into hybernation mode, the download would stop. I managed to get CTX UB downloaded yesterday. I also tried L&G's but I don't know what happened to it. Its a super cheap way to get the workouts we want. I hope my new ones arrive this week.
Jacque** 2 days of walking would be to much! LOL One night was bad enough. DH slept 3 hours longer then me yesterday morning!
But I got laundry done and some studying. I did a fair bit of studying yesterday. Really need to get the boring stuff over with. The next section is Nutrition and I am looking forward to that.
