OK. This is the peace-keeping intervention thread. JK!! Does "damage control" have a double meaning today?
Diana--I used to think sports drinks were just a bunch of hype and turned up my nose. But they really did make a difference on STS. Sometimes it was the difference between being able to finish or not! I love Nuun.
If you manage to tack on cardio after an STS disc, kudos to you!! I entertained visions of adding on something after an STS disc a couple times and then realized the folly of my ways!
I already did my run. (It's 9am here.) It was another great one. I kept my rest intervals the same but increased my running intervals by 2 minutes each. I still felt strong. I am so thrilled. I had begun to despair of ever making it to a full 3miles without walking, but the goal is in sight!!
