Morning Ladies ..

Feeling better today .. spider bite still looks angry .. but it is NO worse .. sooooo I think it is going to be ok .. no change in color and no spreading! I am putting benidryl on it! I did manage to do comabat plyo hiit after work before heading home - started Brutus on his "puppy bootcamp" sessions - last night was learning to "heal" on lead w/choke collar .. learning the "sit/stay" command as well while on lead in "heal" ... he wasnt a happy camper ... after that was some exercise runs .. then was some happy play time playing fetch w/his ball .. takes about an hour and half to go thru all that ... thought he would be worn out .. HA .. no such luck!! :confused: I WAS THE ONE WORN OUT!!! this week will be same thing over and over hopefully he will get better and better .. then next will be MANNERS .. not jumping up .. not talking back .. and not bullying Toots - he plays way too ruff for her .. he is getting bigger and dont realize how ruff he is playing!!!

Wendy - sounds like your sessions are going great!! congrats!!! LOL about being sore from combat .. ya .. dont do it and go back to it .. and wham .. you will be surprised .. kinda like skipping on Cathe ..(which I have) :confused: yikes!!! but your workouts are rockin'!

Di - DH gets sea sick - I make sure he takes Bonine before he goes out - I also make sure everyone else does that is IFFY .. I (knock on wood) dont get sea sick .. the only time I have ever felt "sickly" was more of a panic feeling .. and that was in a STORM w/bad lightning and wind .. It was more of my tummy rebelling and a feeling of impending doom!!!

Diana:: Man, I WISH I didn't get fluffy but alas, I am not my SIL! :rolleyes::mad: I thank you for the compliment though! Much appreciated! :) Try your best not to put too much into your next WW weigh in. Just look ahead to the next one which will be better!:) Wow, you and your little ladies have been to the water park alot lately! Any nice tans goin' on? My son gets an awesome tan! We put sun screen on him so he tans and never burns. It also helps that he has skin like my DH and/or mom. They tan much easier then I do. :( So I signed up for the email alert when T-25 goes on sale but I may not buy it after all...atleast not now. I am committing to working out 3x per week at the studio and I just don't need another shiny new work out program distracting me from making it there. :rolleyes: YKWIM, I am sure!:p For now I am going to try to stick with the Z-cuts and the studio and see what happens. It's good coz it'll give my poor work out creating brain a rest for a little while. It was getting tired! :eek: LOL It's also good b/c Z-cut doesn't require any equipment so maybe my work out area will stay neat for a while for once! :eek: IKWYM about the original BR. Out of all of the online free work out sites that I've tried, it's still my fave. It's ashame they split up. Booh. :(

Laura:: LMAO at puppy bootcamp! I'm sure that's no easy feat! :eek: Glad the spider bite seems to be under control. Hope it stays that way! Wow, your DH is prone to sea-sickness and still fishes like he does!? Brave guy!!!! :eek: BTW, IDT Lori was getting that kitten. Apparently her DH is allergic....Although I know a girl who is allergic but loves cats so much that she takes allergy meds every day so that she can have them! She not only owns one or two but volunteers at a rescue and fosters them!

Morning Ladies ..

ystdy: Combat UB at lunch - and LB after work - doms: shoulders - and a bit into my legs and core! TODAY: REST day .. and a GGT after work for 2 friends b-day!! woot woot!! ;)

Wendy - so how are you liking Z-cuts?? she loves the burpees dont she? I ordered Bob's new series .. my FL friend got them ... and I couldnt stand it .. they are SHORT .. sounds crossfit inspired .. and much like the Zcut series .. timed segments of exercises .. "do as many reps as you can in one minute" ..ect .. we will see ..thought it would be a good change of pace .. I am loving the shorter workouts here lately and my body seems to like it too!

Di - are the girls stil with you?? I know you are loving it!!!

Lori - my dear Lori where are you?????

OK .. better run ... getting my hair cut at lunch .. OMG .. I skipped my last apnt and it needs it soooooo bad ... it has NO shape at all!!!! have a great one!
 
Hi Ladies,

We went out to a Thai restaurant on Monday night and my tummy just wasn't right yesterday. I ended up eating soup for dinner and skipping my swim class, but am feeling much better today.

This morning I whipped out AB!! Definitely plan on feeling the effects of this one tomorrow. Tomorrow I plan on doing STS Total Body! I only have this week and next to focus on weights and then I back to tri training mode. Oh how I miss weights during tri training. This next go 'round I plan on doing 2 full body w/o's each week if possible. This weekend I'm going to take the tri-trainging schedule and see if I can rework it to fit in the weight work.

My age must be getting the best of me...I did Imax 3 on Monday and y'all know how much I love that w/o, my knees were so sore yesterday. Gonna have to alternate high impact with low impact days...it sucks getting old.

Laura-Nice FB w/o you got in yesterday!! I haven't even done the combat rotation and am not sure if I ever will. Doing them whenever seems to work better for me. Bob has a new series, gonna have to check that out. Yes, the girls are here until July 6th when they fly home. I have another 2 Mondays to hit the pool with the girls!

Wendy-fluffy puffy...whatever.:) I used to think it wasn't worth working out if I couldn't do a full hour. I've learned over the years that's just not necessary. I'm definitely ordering T25....oh my!!! Me with my red/strawberry blond hair doesn't tan too much. I'm getting a nice tan though with my 2-3 hours a week at the pool. The girls are even start to get a little tan too. We all spray with sunscreen before heading out to the pool. I'm my weigh will not be good, but am taking your advice and focusing on the next one! Thanks for the encouragement!

Back to report my weight is only .4...yep that's right, less than 1/2 a pound!!! Thanks for encouraging me to get to the meeting today Wendy! That is much better than I was anticipating.

Morning Ladies ..

We had a WONDERFUL GGT last night ... boy we had a LOAD OF LOUD LADIES .. but man it was FUN!!! I felt sorry for our waitress she was new .. and she had her hands full w/the lot of us!! :confused:

DI - congrats on the good # on the scales!! yayayayayyaya!!! yes Bob has a new series .. sounds different and interesting .. yes I have found that the shorter workouts are doing GREAT for me .. I only do a LONG (full hour) once or twice a week now ... if then!!

Wendy - IA w/Di .. fluffy my @$$!!!! ... I'll show you fluffy .. LOLOLOL .. well not right now .. but I could have the first of the year!! LOLOLOL .. talking tans .. i have been in the sun so much this past month .. I use 15 and 30 SPF and I STILL have a good tan going on!! but mine will fade fast if I dont keep it up!!

OK .. better run . it is busy here .. and I am late for lunch .. got errands to run .. think I am gonna hit the cc after work and do an interval run on the tm .. it is too damned hot to run outside here .. HOT AND HUMID!!! ugh .. have a great one!
 
Good Afternoon Ladies. :)

The back DOMS is still there but only really bothers me when I am using the foam roller now. THAT still hurts like a :eek::eek::eek:!

Z's rotation called for a rest day today so I listened and picked up some kettlebells instead with Ultimate Body Sculpt and Conditioning with Kettlebell's short work out done 2x thru, omitting abs and cutting rest times in half! :)

I worked last night at the studio and will work again tonight. Hoping to work out at the Saturday morning group training session but if I can't get my arse moving in time then I want to try to go there on my own and do the work out later in the day.

Laura:: I like the Z-Cut work outs. The problem though is that it's impossible to do it along with the dvd b/c she is too fast for me! :eek: To solve that problem I watch the explanation of each exercise and then pause it on the "menu" screen that shows what the work out consists of and just do it on my own. Let me know how you like Bob's new stuff. I burned out on him but probably won't bother selling the dvds b/c you can get them so cheap, I'm better off keeping them. I had definite issues with them (except for YFTW-LOVE!) but I might use them again some day anyway!

Diana:: I'm so glad that your WW weigh in turned out so much better then you expected! That's awesome! You are doing great! So how did STS TB go this morning with the BUM DOMS you probably have from doing AB y'day?? You are one brave soul! :eek:

I had an hour and a half conference call this morning...ugh. I ended up doing Combat UB blowout during this meeting. I put my phone on mute and worked out!!! Then I did some weighted ab work on my own. ...and yes Wendy, my bum is sore this morning!

Wendy-I usually just do as many reps as I can following Z. I should probably give those w/o's a try soon.:eek: It doesn't sound like you took a rest day at all...silly girl!

Laura-woo hoo for a fun night out! I found bob's new workouts but couldn't find any previews of them. I'm holding off for now since I find his w/o's at my local grocery store. I will have the new T25 and the new Cathe's coming soon enough. With my tri training it's just too much for me to take on. Full tri training mode will start again the first of July!

Good Morning! :)

Z-Cut #3 (AMRAP) is done with a few modifications!;)

I changed the lateral jump burpees into regular burpees....I changed the mule kicks to mountain climbers....I cut the crab toe touch reps in half and changed the ab exercise at the end to kettlebell swings.

That being said, I guess in all honesty I did my own AMRAP instead! LOL Oh well! :p

DI:: I meant I took a rest day from Z's work outs. That's all! :p Congrats on the sore bum! Was it padded toilet seat kind of sore? :eek: OMG, I LOVE the during the meeting work out! Bwah! That's hilarious! Good for you! Way to be time efficient!:D

Hi Ladies,

I'm so happy that my clothes are finally fitting like they should. My weight is down a tad this morning, not the official weigh in but I'm back to my "normal" weight....and I just want to keep on losing!

Swim class was awesome last night. My comfort in the water as well my strokes and speed are all improving!!! This morning I plan on going for a run. My last run was for the mini haha and it was only 2 miles. Perhaps later I'll do some weights since I plan on working from home.

There is another triathlon in July that I'm going to see if my training partner wants to do. More experience is better!:D Our next planned one is August 11th.

Wendy-nice amrap.....nothing wrong with doing your own moves. We all modify when necessary anyway. I took the conference call at home...in my basement so I could listen with my phone on mute....and do my w/o!

Laura-what are you up to today???

been busy bee this morning .. :eek:... ystdy I went to CC and did 4 1/2 mile interval run on TM - 50 min - burned 552 calories! DOMS: Hammies .. eeeoch!! IDK if I will get any workouts in this weekend .. gonna be busy one ... and hoping FUN one!

DI - OMG .. working out while on working conference call :p THAT is hillarious .. now if you had to come in and say something and you were out of breath .. they may think you were "doing something else" :eek::eek::eek: ;););) {{{{ bawwahawwwhhaaaa }}}}:p:p:p:p congrats on getting better in the pool and the weight!!! woot woot!!

Wendy - LOL .. one thing about creating your own routines .. you will get annoyed at some that you know are innefective .. and you will prbly find yourself doing your own thing a LOT MORE than not .. LOL .. I know I do ... the only exception is Cathe and Combat ..Cathe always gave me that mental vacation from thinking .. and they both are spot on with what they do .. although some of Cathe's stuff I modify for my AGING POS knee ...

Hi Ladies,

My lower body is sore this morning:).....and so are my knees:mad:.

My 4 mile started out great but didn't well. I think I was dehydrated as my hands and fingers started tingling and I felt light headed. I turned my garmin off at 4.25 miles and ended up walking the rest of the way home. My outdoor running needs to start earlier since it's so hot here.

Bodypump is the reason for the leg DOMs and then I followed that up with Bodystep!

Anyone have any plans for the weekend? Hopefully Jerod and I will get to Fast 6 today! Just some household chores and grocery shopping the rest of the time.

Hey Ladies. :)

This morning I made it to the studio for the group session and it was packed and it rocked! :D

Speaking of rocking...Went to see Toby Keith in concert last night and that rocked too! Tons of fun after hours of tailgaiting!:D

For dinner I made a new Skinny Taste recipe called Salmon Kabobs. Good! Just not as good as I expected! She also has a chicken kabob recipe that I want to try! :9

I was on FB earlier in the day and saw an update from Zuzanna on my FB page. She apparently released a Power Series (weight training) when I wasn't looking so I immediately whipped out my credit card! :eek: I know I said I wasn't buying anything else right now but they are so inexpensive and she gets the job done in no time so I JUST HAD TO!!!!!:eek:

Hi Ladies

DS3 and I finally went and saw Fast 6 yesterday. We'd been trying to get to it for several weeks but things just kept coming up. I ate popcorn at the movie theater but didn't add anything to it, it's just not necessary. I have a few days to work off the fat, salt and water before my Wednesday weigh in! I tracked all my points just the same.

This morning I did GS BSB and Tabatcise 1-5 and core #1. One of my girls did a lot of tabatacise! She said "grandma this is so hard I'm sweating". Both the girls joined me for Core #1, well as much as they could do anyway!:p

Wendy-nice workout lady!!! Bear crawls always get me in the hamstrings! How are you liking Zcut? I've only previewed the first w/o. I had no idea she had another series. Not sure if I'll buy them or not, but would at least like to catch a preview of them.

Hello Ladies. :)

This morning's work out was Z-Cut #5 with the addition of tube chops because I felt like it! :p LOL And tonight I will work out at the studio. Z-Cut was the warm up! ;)

The rest of my weekend after the concert was quiet. Some cleaning, some cooking, some relaxing...we had no more plans thank goodness! Great weekend over all! :) DH took DS to Hurricane Harbor y'day for a few hours. I opted to stay home and get the foodshopping done so it was some nice alone time for me. Got alot accomplished and took a nice nap before they got back too. :D

Di:: Congrats on your WW success! You are doing great! So happy for you! :D Bear crawls fry my shoulders and my thighs for sure! IDK what "Fast 6" is about. I don't think I've even seen the trailer for it yet! :confused: Hope you enjoyed it though! I enjoy Z-cut. It's perfect for a quick but intense cardio session and works perfectly as my cardio add on w/o going overboard. :)

Laura:: Nice work outs! So how was your weekend? Every time I go to do any work out on dvd now, I have the studio owner in the back of my mind telling me the moves I shouldn't do or how to modify them to make them better! :rolleyes: He has infested my brain! AAAAHHHHH!!!!! :eek: LOL - :p:D

Hi ladies.

This morning I tackled GS C&T, and BM2 Cardio Blast. Then it was a quick shower and off to the waterpark with the girls! We got a late start and only spent 2 hours there today.

I just ordered Focus T-25!!!!:D:D:D I tried ordering this morning but the site was ssssooooo slow. Although I haven't received a shipping notice yet, I hope to get them Saturday or Monday. Not sure why I'm so excited about them as my 6 week tri training program starts next week.

I think this is my last week of Aquatic Training, better double check....there may be another week left. I'm also signing up for the July bootcamp session. It's only 2 nights/week and I miss it.

Wendy-you seem to be cruising right along with the Zcut series! Fast 6 is "Fast & Furious 6" with the hunky Vin Diesel! I'm a fan of all the Fast movies. I have much better success when I go to the WW meetings. I'm going to stick with it for awhile and see if I can get under this weight I've been stuck at for years.

Morning Ladies ..

I have been fishing - just posted some pics on FB .. FINALLY had some good seas and good fishing .... not much sleep tho .... i came on home ystdy to rest .. DH fished and of course I missed THE BEST DAY :confused: I swear I AM the bad luck .. he said it was smooth as glass ystdy .. OH WELL .. that is way it goes .. I HAD to rest!! working today .. playing catch up .. i was gonna workout this afternoon but DH just informed me .. I have to play "catch up" in teh "romance" dept .. we have had company forever ..so no ALONE time .. guess I will get a fun workout in tho!!

DI - I love all the Fast n Furious movies too .. LOOOVE the ROCK and Vin Deisel!! I havent been to the movies in forever tho!! I heard this one was AWESOME!!! ... congrats on the clothes fitting better!!!

Wendy - how did you miss Zcuts new releases .. :eek: ... WTG on the group sessions .. and all those lunges made me hurt just looking at that workout .. eeeouch!!!
