OMG-sore!!!! Those are exactly the words I said to myself once my feet hit the floor this morning. :eek: Man do I love Zuzana!:D

Speaking of which...Laura and I have a tentative "date" to do ZWOW # 18 together tomorrow if anyone would care to join us. (Diana! ;))

Today I will be doing yoga. I think I am going to try a portion of the other new Kundalini dvd I have and then do some of Biggest Loser's Yoga for Weightloss .... Of all things- I am mish-moshing yoga now! LMAO! :p

Oh and btw...I ordered ANOTHER of these Kundalini dvds from Amazon y'day with my giftcard. I couldn't help myself. I'm obsessed!!!!:eek::eek:

Lori:: Holy cr@p you are busy! Kudos to you for handling it all with style and grace! :) With all of those kids and that crazy schedule you juggle I would lose it! This is why I only have one child!!!...Though I had a dream last night that I was pregnant!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Laura:: Oh my goodness! Congrats on that run. Sounds like it was a challenge to say the least!:eek: So you went to look at the BR I did y'day and ended up finding a ZWOW you want to try! LOL Welcome to my world of attempting to decide which of her work outs to do! :p Can't wait for tmrw now!:)

Diana:: So which BR/ZWOW did you decide to do? That's so scarey and sad about the fire. I hope they can contain it soon! Yes, I love the gym but it's hard to fit it all in between what's available there and what I have at home so I gotta learn to relax. I don't have to do it ALL every week. It's OKAY to leave something out, right!?:eek::rolleyes::confused: Wow that's a long work day. Hope the project is over soon! Sorry you had to miss class. :(

Hi Ladies,

Well its back to STS today, Disc 4-CSB, and perhaps a short BR cardio w/o.

I'm up about 3lbs and I think its due to my tri training ending, lack of cardio, and not eating like I should. I finally went grocery shopping last night so there are plenty of fresh fruits & veggies for me to choose from.

Laura-you sure can handle the heat much better than I. Definitely make sure you are staying hydrated if you are going to be running in those temps. I peeked at the Horizontal Bootcamp and it looks good, may have to spring for that with my Amazon gift card. The fire is in the forest around a resevoir that is about an hour away, I'm not in any danger. Seeing and hearing from those who've lost everything is heart wrenching.

Lori-I certainly would not like being yelled at for an hour. That poor Parisian, I feel for him too. I know when our European counterparts are here for meetings, they say how mentally drained they are by the end of the day because they are having to translate all our English words to their native language. They all understand English, but obviously it takes longer to process than their native language. Well I'm trying to get back cardio, it just isn't happening like I want it to. I'll have to start my tri training next week...that will have to be cardio for a while.

Wendy-I never did get to the BR w/o, ugh. I have several ZWOW and BR w/o's printed out so I can do them whenever I have choose. Only you would mish/mosh yoga, silly girl.

Hello. I'm back.

Well, I opted out of the mish-mosh for today cuz I wanted to try the new dvd (called Cardio Stretch & Strengthen) in full and after that no add-ons are needed!:p The case says it's 90 mins long but I think the actual work out is about 75 mins...and I didn't hit fast forward once! Not once!!!!:) Great work out!:D

Up next is cardio at the gym later on with DH. :)

Diana:: I wonder why you aren't able to get back into your "usual" cardio routine? Maybe because tri training didn't involve choreography so now you are used to that? I know that can tend to be my issue. That's why I stray away from step so much. I've grown to appreciate more drill style cardio or running, etc as opposed to choreographed stuff like step work outs and the like. I haven't even been into my beloved kickboxing lately! :eek: Sorry about the weight gain. We've all been there. You will get it under control. :) Enjoy disc 4! Yeup ofcourse I am going to mish-mosh yoga! How can I not now with the collection of DVDs I am gathering!? ;) LOL I have that "BR Bible" I created and still...9x out of 10 I refer to the website instead mostly because I want to do something I've never done before-there are so many left for me to try! :D

K, time to hit the showers. DS and I have Chuck E Cheese and the Library on the agenda on this hot day! BBL!:cool:
 
WED - hump day

so SIL cam over last night -she wanted to try the new Bootcamp -HT - and I was actually up for it ... :confused: .. i know right??? I am not right!!! but we did it - she loved it - it was hard - and we ARE sore - but I am not near as bad as last time - at least i can reach up w/o pain!! LOL .. it is tuff all over body and cardio workout - works everything especially the core!! no fancy music - but the instructor is clear and cues very good!

Lori - MAN girl - I wanted to cry for you after your day yesterday - IA w/Wendy .. dont see how you do it - you are our superwoman!!! you handle all that ... and then you still fit in killer workouts - WOW - you are amazing!!

Wendy - DOMS?? LOL .. welcome to the club!! LOL .. yes!!!! it is a DATE tmrw - Zuzana - SIL is gonna meet me at the house and we are gonna do that workout - looks awesome ...

DI - glad you and your house are not in danger - man horrible!!! yes the heat here is opressive at times - if the humidity wastn like it is it would be 1/2 tolerable .. but it is getting on up there now - pushing the safety limits of being able to run outside now - if I waited till 6 or 7 it would be ok ..but I wont do that .. I like to workout right after work and be done w/it!!!

OK .. not sure what is on tap for today - I NEED YOGA - but so sore not sure if that is doable - I may try for a SHORT run this afternoon .. if I can stand the heat .. or could go to CC and run on TM ??? IDK .. could call it a rest day too :p .. ok .. have a great one girlies!!

Back to report that STS disc 4 and the below BR w/o are done! I need to make a note that disc 4 is pushup torture...tons of pushups...and I did them all on my toes, so proud of myself!

I opted not to do the Zwow w/o today since I need more cardio. For some reason I'm struggling getting back into running. I hope to run in the morning a couple times per week, short though...in the 3-5 mile range.

I did my conference call from home, but now I need to shower and head into work. Plan on working from home tomorrow instead.

Laura-can you verify this is the Horizontal Bootcamp DVD you are talking about? I want to make sure I get one that is tried & true!

Wendy-Do you feel more limber with all the yoga you've been doing? I too am enjoying the drill type w/o's. They may even be more difficult since it's not choreographed and we are pushing the whole 12-20 mins or whatever it is. I love my Cathe DVD's and don't plan on giving up on them, but for the next 8 weeks starting next week I'll be in tri training mode.

Hey Di .. yes that is the bootcamp torture .. LOL .. I really like the instructor on it ... and there is NO rest at all on the entire thing .. but it was fun .. she does a lot of the plyo moves I used to do in my classes .. but the "horizontal" work is like nothing I have seen before .. and it is relentless! LOL .. the instructor doesnt "look" that strong .. but dang .. I wish I had 1/2 her UB strength to do all those pushup plank things .. geesh!
 
Diana:: Heck yeah! By my 2nd yoga work out when I just started doing it again I could feel a difference! My flexibility changes depending on the yoga work out I am doing as well as whatever I did the day before that might have stiffened me up but I am definitely worlds beyond where I was when I started!:D Yoga is more then just flexibility though...it's strength and cardio too! I am also actually starting to finally realize some mental/emotional gains from it as well. :) As little as I reach for Cathe at times I will never give up her work outs either. She is fantastic at what she does but I guess I've just grown to enjoy so many other styles of exercise so much these days that something has to give and after doing soooo much Cathe for so long hers are typically the work outs that I will put off for a while to do other things! That being said though, I will always come back to Cathe at some point though. ALWAYS! :D

Laura:: Ok, you are on! :D I won't look at Horizontal Conditioning! I have way too much on my plate as it is right now! All of those Bob dvds, 4 new yoga dvds in no time flat, a new gym membership and 2 brandy-new Cathes on the way soon! Soooo many work outs, so little time! :eek:

Good Morning:)

I'm happy yesterday is over! DD is being a real treat....I think some how she is managing to take advance of the situation here. Then when I logged in to our cell phone bill account, the new bill was showing over $600!!!! I nearly fell off of my chair. Mine and DD's bill were the same but DH's old number was showing $345 and his new number which he's had for ONE week was showing $119! He is suppose to be dealing with it somehow. Needless to say DD's foolish crap and that cell phone bill took the sleep out of my eyes and it was after 12 before I fell a sleep and up before 7 again. I am suppose to play cards tonight with the girls and I don't know how I am going to stay awake for it.

Yesterday's workout was GS chest and tris. And I run in the evening....I did 9 km. I am not sure what I will do today. The kids are officially out of school so I have the girls all day but my good friend offered to take them for the afternoon. If that happens I will be having a nap when the baby does! But I am super sore from yesterday's chest workout! And my back is still sore from Monday's workout.

Wendy** yeah I don't think I will be mish moshing yoga DVDs anytime soon. I can't even get around to doing one! Never mind a mixture. I saw joeys pic on fb...I can't believe how big he is getting. He must be one of the tallest kids in his class?

Diana** the scale use to always go up for me when I wasn't doing my cardio. I haven't really noticed since I've had the baby though. Its just a matter of getting back into the swing of it or starting a rotation that excites you! I've been thinking about adding in the asylum workouts again. I enjoyed those ......don't know if I will be pulling out the insanity ones anytime soon though.

Laura** now you two have me thinking about this boot amp DVD! But I still have about 5 new workouts to try yet. I always seem to reach for the same ones. Maybe b/c I feel like I don't have the time to learn a new workout and I just want to do something I know.

Well some good news....I am now prepreg weight...126.1 as of this morning. I did see that last week when DH left but it went back up a little bit. 123 was where I was comfortable though and I am sure I will get there without even trying b/c I don't get to sit down a whole lot!

Today's work out plan definitely includes ZWOW #18 with Laura and her SIL. :) Beyond that it's possible that I will head to the gym for cardio...but maybe not too! :p

Y'day's gym plan bit the dust. By the time DH got home neither one of us felt like braving the nasty hot weather to go sweat and then have to go back out in it to get home so it didn't happen. :rolleyes:

So now I am an official library card carrier! I haven't been one of those since I was a teenager! :eek: The library seems very small and pretty lame though so I'm not sure how much use I will get out of my membership. It's okay though b/c I really went for DS and he was very excited. He picked 2 books and immediately started reading them while I was browsing (and finding NOTHING!:(). He finished them both when we got home and wants to go back today to get 2 more! :D

Lori:: I remember when my boyfriend from highschool went away to the service after graduation. After bootcamp he got sent to germany and we would talk on the phone...to the tune of a $750 phone bill that my mom received one month!!!!:eek: Let's just say I am lucky I am alive today to tell you that story! ;) LOL

Laura:: Yep, I watched the Crossfire clip. I'm lovin' the firewalker loop work! Can't wait to try it!!! :eek::D:eek:

Hello Ladies -

Well I did 4 miles in about 35 min ystdy after work - a friend of mine came to me about advice on her first 5 k - she hasnt been running long - and she cant run the entire thing - but I was impressed w/her tanacity .. so much that it inspired me.. I thought let me see what my time would be if I ran one - well I went past the mile marker - but w/warm up and cool down included that was a good time - :D:D and felt strong and great - not worn out - the 5 - 7 miles wear me out - think a HUGE part of that is that damned MONSTER HILL that is included when I push past the 4 miles! but after the run ystdy I felt great!!

Tonight is Zuzana w/SIL and Wendy! woot woot .. poor SIL told me she went home and overdid .. worked her tris and legs hard .. SILLY GIRL ..imagine this Zuzana workout is gonna be killer butt, legs and tris .. :confused: .. I am sure she will do it tho - she is SO much stronger now!! :D:D:D she can about out do me in pushups (I am slacking there BIG time)

Lori - congrats on reaching the pre-preggers weight - geesh girl I have not seen those numbers since my early 20's ... and that was only a very breif time (and bout w/eating disorder) ... my body likes where i am now! I would like to be about 8 pounds lighter - but my body is STUCK where it is!! LOL YIKES - at the phone bill - OMG - I would have fainted!!!! good luck w/DD - no advice except maybe ALCOHOL - and lots of it!!! LOLOLOL (jk - sorta)

Wendy - I know you will bang out Zuzana before us - so DO REPORT .. want to know how it was and what is in store for us tonight!

Di - your at home working today right? what workout are you gonna go for??

well looks like there may be a tropical storm possible hurricane brewing in the Gulf - not looking good for fishing trip ... think DH gonna have to cancel again - he will call it this afternoon prbly!! :( OH WELL - dont want to be out in a LOW much less TS or Hurricane .. LOL!!

Hello Ladies. :)

My work out is done though I still may sneak in STS Extended Stretch here in a few mins...

First up ofcourse was ZWOW #18. Laura, you picked a goody! :D The sweat was pouring off of me and those leg extensions were KILLER!!!!:eek: The first 10-15 reps were okay but the last 5 for sure almost had me crying every time! LOL The burpee step ups were cool. I liked them. Something different. Overall it was a fantastic work out. I personally felt it more in my upper body between the push ups in the burpees, the plank you have to hold for the leg extensions and the dips but overall it worked everything! :)

After that I headed to the gym. I confess I didn't wanna go after that ZWOW but I had promised DS and we already disappointed him last night when we whimped out of going..:rolleyes:. So anyway I ran for 20 solid minutes at one steady pace w/no breaks. That was HARD but I did it! Then I did 2 sets of 20 reps per side on the obique twist machine...just for fun!;):p

Next on the agenda is the Library and then over to DH's cousin's house to borrow his pool for a bit! BBL!:cool:
 
Hi Girls

We have kept busy all day, can't believe it's dinner time. I am starting to get use to evenings now....I just need to conquer the weekends.

Today's workout was 3 miles (25 mins) on the TM, 30/30, 4DS shoulders and 4DS kickboxing abs. Tonight the girls are coming over for cards, I was hoping to catch a nap but that's highly unlikely now. I live how the sun sucks the energy out of the kids! Maybe DS will hit the bed early tonight.

Wendy** nice workout. I love having ab DOMS but its hard to get sometimes. Pushups usually does it for me. Well at least we can't blame DD for the cell phone charges.... That's one thing I can't get mad at her for! Ugh.... Teenagers!

Laura** I plan on having a drink tonight. I might actually turn into a alcoholic over the next 6 months!

Good Morning

Had a better day yesterday, thank goodness! And now the weekend is here. I'm probably the only one who dreads weekends...lol. Tomorrow I plan on staining the deck and I'm thinking on Sunday I will put some flowers in my pots.

It was nice to see the girls last night but I was sooooo tired!!!! While one of the girls was dealing, I got ready for bed so that when they left I just had to lock the doors and get into bed! The baby slept till little after 7 so I feel good this morning. I'm thinking today will be legs and cardio. It may be a circuit using the tm.

Laura** where is this clip??? I must find it! I still haven't preordered yet!

I may bbl to report my workout. DS has speech at 1 so I need be done by 11:30

Morning. Happy Friday! :D

Well, the pool idea was a bust y'day b/c it wasn't clean and I didn't know anything about hooking up/running the vacuum so we came back home and DS had to settle for his little baby pool. He is 7 but can still appreciate that little thing on a hot day lemme tell ya!;)

Today is probably going to be a rest day. I have to be out of the house by 9:30 at the latest and will be on the run all day long so if a work out is going to happen it has to be like NOW and I don't think I wanna yet! :p LOL It's okay though coz I actually due for a rest day around now anyway. Perfect timing!:)

Lori:: Yeup, I agree-ab doms isn't always easy to come by but when it does come is a killer! :D Poker in pj's...I like that idea! LOL Staining the deck and gardening sounds like good ideas to keep you busy...so long as your little one allows it! ;):)

Laura:: Yeah, I saw the clip. Looks like fun, huh? ;) So what did you and SIL think of the ZWOW last night and have ya seen the new one!?!? :eek:

TGIF .. woot woot!

WEll our trip is officially canceled that damned storm brewing in the Gulf .. dang it .. seas are to get to 10 - 12 ft .. :confused:.. eerrrr .. NO THANK YOU!!! :confused: :cool: think we may do some bush hooking in the river here at home this weekend :D plus we finally get our usual FRIDAY night DATE night woot woot!! :D (sorry Lori - prbly shouldnt mention that in your presence - poor thing)

WENDY :::: :eek::eek::eek: ok .. the ZWOW was harder than I was expecting!! I was DRENCHED in sweat - i sweated more with that than I did w/Insanity - ya the leg extentions/knee to elbow while on lifted plank was THE HARDEST - had a bit of puke factor for me - I wasnt expecting the QUAD burn I got from that - that kinda snuck up on me - the supporting leg was ON FIYAH!!!! SIL and I both liked it - we warmed up w/Cathe core cardio and kept it on for the music - worked out well - not including warm up .. guessing we did the workout in 30 - 35 minutes .. and you did YOGA after that ??? we were going to but I told SIL .. F#### yoga!!! LOL .. my poor shaky arms couldnt have held me up in any kind of downward dog at all!!! :p:p

that being said .. yes I am looking for another one - thinking we may pound out another one tmrw!! :eek: glutton for punishment!!! :eek: :p:p

Lori - I am sorry weekends are so hard for you - but it does sound like your schedule is jammed pack tho - hang in there!!! the new clip is on her FB page and You Tube! looks soooooo hard!!!

Di - saw on FB you not feeling well - the heat at bootcamp?? ya - heat is hard to workout in .. especially if you are not used to it - it taxes your heart and blood pressure even more than the work you are doing does!!

OK .. DOMS: TRIS - eeeouch - QUADS- eeeeouch - and a bit into abs, back and butt!! :) TODAY is a total REST day for me!!

Hi Ladies,

Hhhmm, it looks like I didn't post yesterday. I did Disc 5, C&T, a BR w/o and had bootcamp class last night. My shoulder is killing me from dips last night and STS irritates it too. I'm enjoying weight training so I will live with the pain for now.

I took a vacation day today so I can finish some things I've been procrastinating...finishing the girls room, returning stuff to kohls. etc. DH and I are also changing Banks from the one we've been with for 25 yrs to a Credit Union. I need to make a list of all our automatic debits, amounts & dates...lots to do.

Disc 6 and KPC is on tap for this morning. I need to get on it.

Lori-glad you were able to enjoy yourself with the girls last night. If your looking for ab doms, get Horizontal Bootcamp or add some weight to your a routine...that usually does it for me! You have a busy weekend planned, have fun staining your deck. I love staining outside! Did part of my fence a while and it looks great. The new w/o video clips are on Cathe's FB fan page...go check them out.

Wendy-too bad about the pool, but Joey was a good sport about it! My weight is back down...thank goodness, probably due to bootcamp last night. Sorry I missed out on ZWOW, but I needed a short cardio burst instead of full body training.

Laura-The new workouts look awesome, can't hardly wait. Knowing my luck they will probably arrive while I'm on vacation. If I have them beforehand then I'm taking them with me. I won't have any equipment, but can still go through the motions and learn them without a step.

Good Morning Girls:)

Another beautiful day here...our weather is awesome. We usually don't get to many days like this in a row. I think its suppose to be warm and sunny right up until Wed.

Yesterday's workout was 35 mins of cardio (bike and TM) and standing work in LBB. Today will just be a run outside with the baby. DS is gone with my SIL and her family for the day. Its family day at her DH's work so they took him with them. He will enjoy it but he wasn't the easiest to wake up. I can't imagine what he will be like when its time to go to school.

Laura** How was DATE night with your HUSBAND????:mad::mad::p Hope you got a cramp in your leg! LOL DH wanted me to come visit next weekend but its to expensive and I don't have quit enough airmiles. I probably wouldn't be able to get out on airmiles this late in the game anyway. He has a long weekend coming up b/c its Canada Day and I think they finish up early on Fri so if I went , by the time I got there he would be done for the day.

Wendy** Lol at Joey sitting in that kiddie pool:p We have a tiny pool put at the end of DS's slide so they were up and down that thing a million and one times yesterday. At one point there were 6 kids in my backyard and I tell ya...they kept me moving. I should be pretty *amn skinny by the time this summer is over if yesterday is any indication of whats to come.

Diana** We just switched banks recently too. DH was very irritated with our bank so he moved everything over and I just signed the papers:). He does all that dirty work. Im hoping this weekend will fly by. Ive adjusted to quiet mornings here and evenings are even growing on me some.

I will probably bbl to report my workout!
