Morning girlies!

EEEOUCH - wow - DOMS: side/back/abs/chest/arms - :confused: wasnt expecting that from Xfactor workout - finally had a good eye dr apnt - healing nicely no damage to good eye :D:D still have to stay on antibiotic drops for another month - restatis indefinatly - and limited contact wear - and this SLK is something that cant be cured - and will flare up from now and then - I have to pay attention to any psbl infections in my eyes - soooo 1/2 way good report for once!! :cool:

Not sure what today will bring - i have errands at lunch - then my A/C in my car is torn up again GGRRRRR -- DH coming to town to pick me up after we take it to shop AGAIN - then I have to go home and pack and get things ready for the fishign trip ..

Wendy - it is hard for me to run after I work my legs hard - especially after a STS legs YIKES .. mine always feel like rubber .. LOL.. I may try to fit in a short yoga session today :)

DI -I have been impressed w/the Xfactor workouts - i got it b/c it was cheap and had good reviews - intending on them for lunch workouts or when I dont want a Cathe or Bob workout - but ystdy surprised me .. it was really tuff .. every week gets harder and harder .. cant imagine what week 8 is like:confused: think I only paid like $29 for the whole set - there are no fancy editing .. the music is not annoying .. kinda dont notice it - the cueing is excellent but more than that the content and execution is excellent!

Lori -{{{{ hugs }}}} well sounds like the family is keeping you busy tho!! SORRY I was ROTFLMAO at the "sympathy lulu" .. OMG ... that is hillarious!! Kidney issue: wow .. still hurting?? hhhmmmm may be kidney related .. stress is certainly a contributing factor in mine .. I have another stone and I feel it when I am jumping or running .. and it sends waves every now and again ... when the stone moves is when the pain starts to get bad tho .. yes see your doc about it!

Just finished 50 minutes of yoga with YogaWorks: Body Slim. Love it! :D

No time for personals...gotta shower and get dinner goin' coz we have a date with the bowling alley this evening! LOL

I woke up with a bad belly this morning. I ended up doing a ZWOW w/o, but am still not feeling very good.

Lori-Love the "sympathy lulu"....you are too funny! I'm sure you will have your ups and downs during this time, but stay strong.

Laura-OMG girl, you need to take of those eyes. Glad your good eye is healing and there isn't any long term damage. I may splurge on the xFactor w/o's, I've seen them at Walmart. Hopefully, I'll be starting p90X2 next week.

Wendy-your calendar sure is busy for a SAHM! Enjoy all this time with Joey. Have fun bowling!

Good Morning:)

Another day under my belt. Yesterday was even busier then the last. I tired to workout in the a.m but it wasn't that great of a workout. I did one of my new Bob Harper ones...but I had to stop in between and all that crap and I never did get to finish the whole thing. I had planned on spinning later in the day but a friend text me and wanted to know if I wanted to go to the playground with the boys after dinner so that's what I did. When I got home from that my inlaws were here staining DS's playhouse and some other friends showed up while I was weeding the front lawn. By the time everyone left and I got the kids settled it was after 10 :eek: So not much down time.

Not sure what I have on the go today...not a whole lot of anything I'm guessing. I need to get a good workout in this morning. And after lunch I will probably continue to weed that front lawn!:mad: Hopefully the baby will have a nice long nap so I can do so.

DH is doing great...he said it was a little over whelming for the first day but he's good. DS was excellent yesterday too. He was put in a time out on Tues and if anyone walked by my house at that time, they would have thought I was making away with him! He was sooo mad at me. I put him on the step and ignored him and he didn't like being ignored one bit! And he was yelling at me till he finally broke.

...and I ordered more sympathy lulu....HAD TO! IT WAS ON SALE!

Oh...I went to the Dr yesterday and he thinks its just muscular pain in my back but he sent me for a urine test anyway. I wasn't feeling much pain at all yesterday but decided to go anyway.

I will bbl for personals!

Good Morning!:)

I will be back later for personals but just wanted to stop in to report my work out....

I warmed up with 2 1/2 mins of jump rope followed by 2 1/2 mins of hooping then I went on to the following: Burpee Fusion BR, Bob's Ultimate Cardio Glute Challenge, and Cathe's muscle conditioning segment including abs and stretch from Slide and Glide for a total of a 65 minute azz kicker!!!!:eek::D

Workout done:) I did 40 mins on the TM mixed in with HST. One of the better workouts Ive had this week. I felt good.

Wendy** How often do you do yoga? I really need to get into it. Im hoping when the baby is on a better schedule, I may be able to do it in the evenings to unwind.

Laura** Good news about your eye! You need those eyeballs! I haven't heard from the Dr's office so I think its safe to say that it must be muscular. Deadlifts may have brought it on.

Diana** How are you feeling today?

Well, I was suppose to have a baby shower this weekend for a good friend but that's not going ahead now. Yesterday her MIL suddenly passed away and she started having contractions at 31 weeks!:confused: They airlifted her to the children's hospital until further notice, Goes to show how quickly your normal day can turn upside down!

So not looking forward to the weekend:( I know I will be o.k...I guess I will be o.k. Weekends was our time to do stuff and I also looked forward to Fri evenings when DH came home from work. I'm not sure how I will keep us occupied this weekend. My SIL goes camping and wanted us to come visit them...we will see. I really wish my sister was coming home this summer,that would give me something to look forward to.

Yesterday's workout was 40 mins on the TM mixed in with HST. I am not sure what I will do today. Yesterday I also did some things around town and I registered DS for soccer this summer. That should beat him out some.

Hello Ladies. :)

Well it looks like Lori is our resident early bird around here these days!

My work out is done. Had to get 'er done early or it wasn't going to happen today. It was yoga only for me...Baron's Journey into Power 2...Hit the spot! I feel great!:D

Lori:: I shoot to do yoga atleast 3x per week. Sometimes I hit it, sometimes I miss it and sometimes I even surpass it but if I can get it in 3x then I am happy. I would love to do it more on a consistant basis but it's hard to fit it all in. I'll have to give something up to make it happen and I am not at that point just yet...Too funny re your LuLu purchases. Ofcourse you had to buy it when it was on sale! Everyone knows that you can't pass up a good sale!;):D

Diana:: Which ZWOW did you do? Hope you are feeling better this morning! Bowling was fun. Thanks. :)

Laura:: So did you get in that long awaited yoga work out yet? ;) Glad the eyes are slowly improving! Continued healing vibes being sent your way!:)

We are going to a wedding later and there's lots to do beforehand so I may not be back here today so have a nice Friday and I'll be back tmrw if nothing else!

Good Morning:)

I have to say.....you crowd suck at keeping me company!:p

Yesterday was pretty good. I have my moments here and there. People do things to try and keep me occupied but the things they invite me to DH would have been with me so it doesn't help a massive lot. These early mornings kind of suck too. The baby wakes around 7:30 so it makes for a longer day. I think my SIL is coming in today and one of my nieces is staying all night. Then tomorrow I will go home for the day and see my dad so tomorrow should pass by pretty quickly. I told my friend that I'm just wishing my time away but I can't help it! :eek: I've wished away the last 2 yrs of my life cause last year I was pregnant and now DH is away. He is doing good though. I don't think homesickness has set in yet and they are keeping them very busy. We didn't have much time to talk Thursday night and that makes it hard. I feel good when we are communicating but as soon as he is gone I'm lonely again. Anyway, I'm sure I will get use to it. My first weekend alone and my biggest concern is trying to keep DS busy cause there are no kids around this weekend.

Wendy** DH has yoga today:eek: I almost died when he told me that. They are also going shopping today for some supplies and he was going to look for a lulu for me:). I'm guessing he doesn't know about my recent purchases:rolleyes:. Then he laughed and said he needed some yoga cloths....lol. All of the DVDs I have are kind of long and I can't spend a hour doing yoga! I use to go to yoga class years ago but it cut in on my running time so I gave it up again. I always felt great after I did it but it was always a inner struggle to get myself to the class. Hope you enjoyed the wedding.

I am hoping my inlays will pop by today and I can go for a run. They sometimes come by on Saturday mornings and with DH away I wouldn't be surprised. I would like to get a nice run in becaus my other runs this week sucked! Yesterday's workout was 40 mins on the TM, PH legs and bics and HR and PH abs.

Hi Ladies,

I've just been busy with work ...sorry Lori. I think my stomach pain the other day was from some new gum I bought. I'm feeling much better now. I had bootcamp class on Thursday and Friday was a rest day.

My coworker gave me back Asylum and P90X2, only LIS is out to a girlfriend. I'll probably get those back in the next week. One of my girlfriends talked me into signing up for another tri...it's on August 12th. It's a 1/2 mile open water swim, 12 mile bike ride and 5k run. I downloaded the Tri for the Cure training program and may use that for my training. I do better when I have a rotation to follow. Weights, when am I going to fit that in?????

Tonight we are going to dinner for DH's birthday which is on Monday. Of course tomorrow is Father's Day so I'm making that peanut butter pie that was a hit on Mother's Day.

Lori-you are doing great! Love DH's comment about needing yoga clothes!:p I may write up a rotation and have you review it in your "free time". It's good to be kept busy, but definitely difficult going it alone for 6 months. I'm so jealous of everyone's w/o's, makes me feel like I've been slacking even tho' I've been running/swimming/biking instead of doing Cathe or other w/o's.

Wendy-you are a busy bee. How was the wedding? I'm stalling on finishing the girls' room, I'm just over it. Glad you are enjoying yoga. I think you'll reap the benefits with 3 times per week. The gal that cuts my hair is also a core power yoga instructor, she is ripped. She used to be a spinner/biker and now she says she just does yoga.

Laura-Happy Fishing...can't wait to see what you score this week!

Good Morning:)

I am heading home today for the day, the only sucky thing is my mom has to work. We will leave here with enough time to make it to church...I hope. The baby is up early enough..that's for sure!

Yesterday I finally got my floors cleaned and my in laws came by so I could go for a run. I did 12k with my running partner. I am planning to workout soon before we leave here. I am giving myself an hour to do something. Yesterday afternoon I also took DS to mcds to play with a friend and then to walmart to get him a treat. Keeping him occupied is my biggest task.

Diana** That's awesome about the tri, gives you something to work towards! I need some kind of goal to keep me going.....I just need to pick one:) I wouldn't mind doing another course to go along with my PT course but I don't really think I would have a whole lot of time for studying and reading:confused:

Alright...I will check back in tonight when I get home. I am not sure what kind of week I am in for. DH is going to get busier so his time to talk to me might become less and less!

Hi Ladies,

My day is totally off track since I made and ate breakfast first thing with DH this morning.

I finally just finished my workout, STS Disc 2 (back & triceps), HIIT 40/20, and STS Stability Ball Abs. It's already 3:45pm and I still need to go grocery shopping...I hate going to late in the day.

I have a pork tenderloin in the crockpot with BBQ sauce, yummy pulled pork sandwiches for dinner tonight. I'm making these stuffed mushrooms too: Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe - Allrecipes.com
I also made peanut butter pie for dessert.

Lori-enjoy your day with your parents! Keeping those kids busy can certainly be tough. ITA, probably not the best time to take a class. Good Luck finding a race.

Wendy-Nice workout at the gym today. I've decided to do STS for a bit while I figure out a tri rotation to follow. Much to my surprise, I haven't lost much strength. It feel great to be lifting though!

I have some DOMS from y'day's gym work out. :) Today's plan is gym cardio and yoga.

Diana:: Nice work out y'day! You did a little of everything! Have fun with STS for as long you do it. PB pie sounds yummy but I do NOT want the recipe. :eek: Slow cooked pork is wonderful no matter how you flavor it and those mushrooms sound delish!!! Were they?

Lori:: Hope you enjoyed your visit with your parents. Oh good grief don't talk about keeping a kid occupied coz that's gonna be my job starting tmrw since today is the last day of school! :eek: I think I need to find a job like RIGHT NOW! :p

Mon - and back to reality!

Morning Ladies -

I had a great vaca - but we only got in ONE good fishing day - there were storms in the Gulf and the seas and winds were too high to risk it - but my DN and DB got to go when we did get out - so that was good - they had a blast!! We caught a lot of fish - but got into a storm on the way back and I didnt get any pics!! We had to cancel the other trips and ended up coming home early - but we had some quality couple time by the pool and then went out SAT night - so we still had a great time! :cool:

we have another trip planned for this upcoming weekend - BUT they are watching a system in the Carribean for developement - it may mess up our weekend! :(

I did Bootcamp - Horizontal training - OMG - that was THE HARDEST Dvd i have EVER done - and my core is sorer than it has EVER been .. EVER!@!! :confused: it hurts to straighten up or reach my arms out - eeeouch!!!! I did nothing ystdy - I couldnt .. LOL!! today I am hoping to fit in a HOT run .. then tmrw Cathe workout -

Lori - glad you are coping well - sounds like friends and family are making sure you dont have any down time!!

Wendy - i did fit in a short yoga the other day - but nothing to brag about - I have lost some flexibility .. and pushup strength for sure - that bootcamp dvd had a millon pushups and I had to modify most of it !! so the munchkin is out for the summer - LOL - yup you are gonna be busy entertaining him for sure!!

Di -that recipe sounds good - I may have to try it!!!

Hey Girls.

I am early today because I couldn't sleep. Awake since 4am and out of bed since just before 5am. Booh. :(

Y'day's work out was ITread 20 mins #3 plus 12 minutes on the stairclimber. I increased resistance 1 level each minute so I got up to 10 and then went back down to 1 and sped up for the last 2 minutes. After that I did one of my new yoga work outs called Bliss Hips. Good stuff and I am a little sore this morning-all over!:)

and some yoga or stretching that is YTBD. :)

DS' last day of school was y'day so I will be busier then usual between housework and keeping him occupied. He is signed up for daycamp 2 days per week just to help keep him occupied/socialized (tues/fri) but it doesn't start til next week...

Good Morning:)

Had a little sleep in this morning...and by sleep in I mean I wasnt up before 7 a.m:eek: The baby has been waking up before 7. Last night I closed the blinds so the sun wouldn't be beaming in....maybe it worked.

My workouts so far this week was 30 mins on the tm on Sunday before I went home. And yesterday's workout was 3 miles (25 mins) on the tm, HIIT pyramid, 20 mins tabata spin, MMA boxing combos, and GS back,bic,and shoulders. Phew! It sounds like it was more then it was. I love doing those boxing combos with weighted gloves before weights b/c it makes me so sore! Thats right girls, I have DOMS! Even in my quads! I'm not sure where that came from. I was thinking that today would either be legs or GS chest and tris but I think both body parts might be sore already. Maybe just cardio and a good ab workout.

DH is doing good. I still have my moments from time to time. I get up in the morning thinking that I have the hang of it now but at some point during the day it will hit me and it's liked some one sucked the life out of me:(. Then I wonder if I can do this until dec....such a long time! It's the only time that I feel like Christmas is years away. Any other time I would be worrying about presents already. When I talk to him it makes it better though. My sil asked me to take the kids out for dinner tonight and then stop by at get some flowers for my boxes, so my evening will be fairly busy.

Wendy** DS use to always be able to keep himself occupied but now he wants someone playing with him all the time. It's ok when the girls are here cause they all play together but my sil goes camping on the weekends so he is left alone. Then I feel bad for him but seriously...I can't have kids here all the time. I have him signed up for soccer this summer and thats 4 days a week, for an hour a day plus the girls will be around all summer.

Diana** I hate going to the grocery store late too. I went yesterday and it was bit of a show. DS kept leaving us and then yelling out so then people thought he was lost:rolleyes:. Meanwhile I could see him, he would wave to me and then there would be a lady trying to help him find his mommy! Then a lady wouldn't move in one of the aisles so I ended up knocking over a display of special k bars and then the baby cried the whole way home. It was one of those days where I had to talk myself out of snapping! Lol

Laura** all I can picture is you on a boat in a big storm...fishing! Lol we went fishing last year and it was pretty windy, I didn't like it at all. I'm not one for the water, I can swim good but I don't like not knowing what is beneath me!

Alright... My day has begun! Both boys are now awake....there's no turning back!

Hi Ladies,

I did STS legs.....it felt so good to finally do some leg weights! I'm struggling getting back to cardio though, not sure why. This morning will either have to be a rest day or a BR or ZWOW w/o since I have to be to work early.

I was at work until after 7pm last night so I missed my bootcamp class. This project I'm working takes a lot of time. It's almost over though so I'm hanging in.

We have a tragic fire burning about an hour north of us. It's burned over 56,000 acres and 180 homes. It's been 10 days and its at 50% containment. The fire appears to have been started by a lightning strike. It makes me so sad seeing all this on the news.

Laura-that's too bad you weren't able to get in as much fishing as you planned. I'm sure DN had a great time regardless! Spending some quality time with DH is always good.

Wendy-The stuffed mushrooms were a hit, and super easy to make. I'll probably make them again soon. Joey will have fun at camp and that will allow some time to yourself or time run errands without a kid in tow. It will work out great! Nice workouts too.....sounds like you are enjoying the gym!

Lori-Uhhmmm....no that definitely sounds like a lot of workouts were accomplished! Slept past 7, woo hoo...good for you. Sleep is good when you have an infant. Take it when you can get it! Rylan sounds a little like my Zach. He was a busy bee, but you handle it much better than I did. With DH's new job, will you be going back to work in Jan or do you just have to wait and see?

Morning Ladies!

I did a 5 mile run - 50 min (warm up and cool down included) - it was about 92 degrees and all sunshine .. i was begging for a cloud to come around .. but nope .. none .. it was hot hot hot!! but got it done and felt great!! at one point towards the end I know I was getting too hot - my quads and inner thight starting cramping up - oh and my OVERLY SORE ABS .. eeeeouch .. they hurt the entire duration of the run .. but they feel better today :D

Lori - DOMS .. yayayayayaya!! You ARE human!!! and boy that is a list of a workout girlie!! WTG!!!! I am sorry - had to LOL about the grocery store - OMG - that is how I imagine I would be if I had kids - LOL - I would have snapped or broken down in tears!! I know it wasnt funny to you - but it is comical!! bless your heart!!! Hang in there - i cant imagine what you are going thru - but you have kept busy - and maybe the time will go much faster than you imagine!!!

Wendy - booo no sleep - not fun. .. my run I do intervals - messing w/my speed and stride - thinking 92 degrees isnt the best environment to do intervals in that kind of heat :confused: ... :p LOL!! WTG on the workout - need to check out the BR one .. looks good ..

Di - I saw that fire on the news - was wondering how close it was to you - yikes! I hope your place is not in its path!! too bad you missed bootcamp .. dang work interfering w/our workout plans .. I HATE that!!

OK .. better get back to work - SIL and I are to meet after work at my house and do a Cathe workout .. either AT- AB - or tri sets ..gonna kill me I know .. I will be complaining tmrw!! Ok have a great one .. ;)
 
Good Morning:)

I had my post almost done, had to change the baby and when I came back it was gone:mad:. That's not a good way to start my morning!

My dad showed up yesterday morning b/c his motorcycle was getting a new tire. So he hung out here, mowed my lawn and then I had the bright idea that he could watch DS while I went for a run with the baby. I was out for about 45 mins and I did abs after. Today I want to do GS chest and tris and another run. I am still sore from Monday's workout...mostly my legs and back. I still don't know why my legs are sore. I am blaming the spinning but my goodness.....I do that often and I didn't work any harder...if anything I was slacking:eek: or so I thought.

I am trying to figure out which one of my 3 kids are the most work. I am leaning towards the 16 yr old:eek:. I feel as if she is going to keep me on my toes. So last night she went out and I have to ask her a million questions and I never know when she is telling the truth or not, then I am feeding the baby cereal and I am trying to get DS in to get in the tub and whenever he comes inside he has to bring every ball inside with him and I'm not exaggerating. Not only that....then they have to go in the tub with him and then dried off and put in his bed. EVERY NIGHT...and it's getting old fast.

DH had his first drill class yesterday. That's where they all line up and someone yells at them for an hour! I can only imagine. There is a older guy in his troop from Paris and he was upset afterwards b/c his English isn't that great and he couldnt understand what they were saying. And I'm guessing if you don't do what your told, they yell even louder....ugh. I felt bad for him and I wasn't even there.

Wendy** Joey keeping you so busy that you can't even check in? ;). I was thinking last night that I can't wait for sept already! DS will be in school and I will know where DD is all the time. Before I only had to worry about weekends...now it's every night of the week. And doing it alone isn't easy! But I hate wishing my time away. I should go buy some good wrinkle cream.

Diana** oh DS is very busy. He use to be able to occupy himself but I made the mistake of getting in the trampoline a couple of times and now he wants me in there all the time. He will soon have the girls here with him all day long but that comes with its downfalls too. Are you back on the cardio bandwagon!!!???

Laura** I need to pick up some coolers for days like Monday. I had to bum one from my sil last night cause I didnt have any here. On the way home I was saying "they will not break me...they will not break me" lol. I have to talk myself through it. I don't know how you run in that heat!

I may bbl. DS has his kindergarten booster today, behavior tomorrow and speech on Friday..see what I mean by not knowing which one is the most work?
