Good Morning

I think I will be using Christmas color from here on in Will that drive anyone bonkers?? hehe!

I get home yesterday to find a MASSIVE tree in my living room. I was right, in the garage it didn't look so big...in a smaller area...HUGE! I started decorating it last night before my party and almost all of my lights weren't working! I use to have a nice container to store my decorations in but some how it ended up in my basement with wood in it for the woodstove...so then my decorations got put in a BOX! A BOX!!! When I started taking things out about a month ago, there were 3 things broken and now all of these lights don't work? You expect for a couple of sets to not work...but 2 clear sets and 4 blue sets aren't working

Last night was a good time. When everyone else decided to hit the club, I went home so it was another 1 o'clock night!!! I told DH yesterday that I was looking forward to staying home tonight and he said "your not staying home tomorrow night. You have to go , even if its only for an hour" Baaaaa! Im gonna lie down with DS and fall asleep and purposlely not get up! One girl last night had on an awful christmas sweater, decked out with lights and crap, metallic leggings on, wool blue winter socks and winter boots...and thats how she went out! But she did not care! Im sure i would have had fun but I couldn't go out like that if I wasn't drunk!

Wendy* Woo Hoo!!! Got yourself a new laptop! I think thats what we are getting DD for christmas but thats in DH's hands. Im sure he won't pick it up until Christmas eve. I think I have had the coolers you are talking about. The ones I drink are 100 cals. They aren't wicked but they are 100 cals so I night out with the girls only does me 300-400 cals damage. Im usually hammered before I get the 3rd one gone! Im such a lush!

Diana** Class sounded interesting! Did you get your money back from the other class yet? I probably missed that post!

Jacque** Christmas is soooo busy isn't it? To many gatherings...to many things to do...plus work! So far I have only made it to the letter "c" with the assistment my boss gave me. He asked me to go through all of our customers file for the last 3 yrs and make sure we have all of their contact info. By the time I get to the 3rd year, there is a good chance that the plane that hasn't been in in 3 yrs...has been sold to another company. I don't even know why I am bothering to write it down! I am hoping to get a dent in that this weekend cause i don't want it hanging over my head!

I think that catches me up with personals! I have no clue what my workout is gonna be today. I guess I will figure it out when I get down to the basement!

Good Morning! Happy Saturday folks!

So today's work out will be MIST. It's probably my fave Insanity w/o right now! I have a 9:30 hair appointment this morning for color and highlights. Should be interesting! My friend was supposed to come down to help us fix our desktop but his car broke down last night so I may be throwing my tower in the car and taking a ride after I get my hair done. We'll see.

Lori:: Sorry about the broken tree lights. Did you go out and buy more? We have a little 4 foot fake tree in our house and it barely fits. I would love to have a big REAL tree one day but it's just not feasable right now and growing up my mom would never have one. They are alot more work and she couldn't be bothered. I understand that and if ever I get my wish, I may end up agreeing with her!!! LOL So I ended up having 2.5 Mike's last night. I was pretty well lit up myself. heheh.

Morning ladies !

Well bummed last night as the Sharks lost in a shoot out after 11 Shooters ! Now I know Wendy can sometimes handle that many (LOL! ), but our goalie couldn't handle the last one, Ha ! Was a good game though.

Lori - bummer about your lights - that is first on my list this AM after I get my "work" work done. Got to get the tree up. Just found out Xmas will be at my house and warned DH that he WILL BE HELPING since it is mostly his family anyway - turns out to be about a housefull of 30+ by the time we get finished. Not sure why your boss is asking you to do that many years worth - I'd probably have started 6 months to a year ago and perhaps gone back a couple but from there . . . who only flies every few years to the same destination? Oh well, guess it give you something to do after you have caught up with us and finished your online shopping, huh?

Wendy - Awwwwww, bummer Costco doesn't carry them near you. Sounds like the old prohibition days . . . do they just not have a liquor license? It is kinda nice cause the case has a variety - I actually made mine last over a month - only have one or two here and there between my MGD64s. LOL - didn't mean you broke your desktop, but sure came in handy - I'd love to get one but with DH short on work these days it will definitely have to wait. We changed the spot we put our tree and one year got about a 10' tree. That was when the kids were here and DD helped decorate. I loved having a tall tree since we have a vaulted ceiling in the living room. It was cool, but we paid $40 for our tree this year and it was the cheapest on the lot ! No biggies for me any longer unless I hit the lottery!

Off to get started on my spreadsheets so I can do my own home "to do's". SIL is coming over for pants to be hemmed in just a bit - had a sad happening here last weekend: a 15yr girl old had a sleepover with a couple of friends and she apparently drank so much they think she died of alcohol poisoning. (Parents at the house don't drink so one of the girls brought the booze) SIL is BF's with the Mom and will be attending the funeral on Mon. SIL broke down on the phone when she called me - UGH so sad !

BBL to check in - crossing fingers I can fit in at least a short jog on the TM today . . .

Morning Ladies!

Went out with some co-workers and DH met us there last night. I had 3 mojitos...and we had a good time.

We are just lazing around today. Eventually I will need to get the boys moving to help getting the house cleaned and some xmas decorations up. I'm not going to put up a lot, but I do want the lighted garland around the fireplace and the railing between the kitchen and family room up. We also have some hand made stuffed reindeer, a big fluffy xmas tree pillow, the kinds of the things the girls could play with when they are here.

I have serious DOM's in my legs from heavy lifting on Thursday. Today will definitely be an upper body w/o and some kind of cardio, leaning towards Insanity!

We used to get real xmas trees but haven't for probably the last 10yrs. We have an 8ft pre-lit tree and I love it. We don't have the mess with the needles falling off , having to water it etc. I do miss the fresh pine scent but you can buy pine scented spray and that works fine.

Lori-I love the xmas color! I'm sure you will have fun if you decide to go to the party tonight...if only for an hour. Hope you get your xmas lights working or replaced. That's one reason I love the pre-lit tree! Yep, they are sending my check back and I'm glad. $135 for 4 weeks is pretty expensive when I get my yearly rec ctr membership for $300. I wish you would've said what your w/o for today was...I get good ideas from you. GS Upper Body is sounding good.

Wendy-glad you able to get your xmas gift early. We too are looking for a laptop for DS. I'm torn between getting a more expensive one, one that could get him through High School, or a cheaper version. First the TV, your computer...and now your dryer. I'm so sorry. I hate when everything happens at once. Our costco has a huge liquor store, sad to say but I've never been in it.

Jacque-Sorry about the sharks loss, at least it wasn't to the AVS! 11 shooters makes for an exciting game though. Such a tragic loss of life! I cannot even imagine the grief her parents are going through. My DH was great with xmas lights and helping me decorate when the boys were little, not so much anymore. We've really simplified and I'm glad.

My gift from our gift exchange was hot chocolate gift pack with 4 mugs, hot cocoa mix, marshmallows, peppermints, winter spice mix and cinnamon and sugar mix. Jerod has just spent about 20 minutes getting the packaging off and making us hot cocoa!
