I didn't go to bed until 12'ish last night and up at 6:20....but Im not tired! I rolled over at 6:15 and I thought I had slept in!:confused: I was hoping to get outside for a run but its raining and windy....not the kind of weather I haul myself out of bed for!!!:p So it will probably be a TM run,abs and something else if I have the time.

Diana** It's hard when things need to settle down a bit. I am starting to enjoy my job more b/c my manager seems to be calming down somewhat and he doesn't have a stick up his @ss! Ugh! The other day when the owners were here, the pilot brought a program we needed on a memory stick and my manager got all weird about it (b/c the program sucks...b/c he hates the girl who invented it!) and even the pilot said "hey...don't shoot the messenger. If you have problems call her" He drives me insane!

Jacque** I feel bad about complaining about my work when you guys actually have alot of work to do:p It's not the amount of work I have....just the whole situation and no one is real happy! Hope things settle down for you soon!

Alright...gonna get my butt moving so I can get a pretty good workout in before work.I have some nice DOMS from yesterday's workout...Im impressed!

Morning Ladies,

I'm heading out for an interval run, probably around 3 miles. Not much, but want to change up my standard 5 mile run that is getting boring. I will warm up for a mile, do some intervals, then there's a hill, more intervals...should be back in about a half hour or so.

I have some nice DOMs going in Chest, Triceps and abs. NICE!!

Lori-it is supposed to be quite windy here today, but it is calm now. Have fun on the TM!

Jacque-I'm right there with yah. I have some deadlines coming up at eom and I haven't even started on them. UGH...

Reporting in from work. Ran out of time this morning!

Diana:: Love DOMS! Enjoy it! How'd did the 3 mile interval run go? I don't blame you for changing it up! Variety is good!

Lori:: Enjoy your TM run and abs. I'll bet you do something else! You won't be able to resist. I just know it! ;)

Well I did 6 1RM's for U/B to finish all of the RM's I am going to do for STS. We start Saturday! I'm very excited!
Also did the following floorwork for legs:
100 inner thigh reps
100 glute/ham reps
100 quad reps
50 outer thigh reps
*rep count is per leg*

Skipped abs today b/c I ran out of time but I'll do 'em tmrw with cardio and hopefully some Tonique too!

OK .. so my morning started off BAAAAD ... they are doing road construction (for over a mnth now) on the rd I go to wrk on .. so been going long way .. well I just be damned if they have not started on that road .. got stopped 1/2 way down .. I was only car waiting .. one guy w/stop sign and no radio :mad: could see for a loong time .. an dNOTHING .. I waited 10 min ... turned around and went other way .. which they have STOPPED construction on but left nothing but loose gravel (not paved yet) .. DH warned me to be carefull about rocks when meeting traffic .. well of course I met a car and I just be damned if a rock didnt fly up and CRACk my windshield :mad: :mad: the FIRST time i get on stupid @$$ road .. soooo i am NOT a happy camper this morning .. and PMS monster is NOT helping my feelings any!! UGH

Lori .. I went to bed late too .. and slept ok but was in WEIRD DREAM mode .. had THE strangest dreams .. UGH ... so I am tired too .

Di ..congrats on the DOMS .. and hope the run was a good one!! the runoff is July 13th ... .. 3 - 4 weeks away .. it will be here soon .. and the other dirtbag is running nasty campaign .. telling all sorts of lies .. UGH .. NO WAY would I ever be in politics .. :mad: .. I would be called them on their crap .. LOL!!!! but DB takes the high road (I dont see how he does it)

Wendy .. you are putting in some high rep exercises here lately .. WOW .. WTG girl!!!

Jacque ..sending calm work vibes to ya! yes got my hair done .. and it feels SOOOOO much better .. she did an excellent job .. she always does .. she is just slow!! LOL

OK ... better jet .. at my desk today .. but have ton of work . and we are collecting today .. UGH ..will be insane in here .. mngr out .. so I will be complaint and the begging desk today .. no class tonight .. we are to walk/campaign ... but it is 70% chance of afternoon storms .. soooo not sure .. weather will determine it ... we need rain .. to cool us off .. it is like a sauna down here!! ok .. workout for me .. ahve a great day!
 
Oil spill

A friend just sent me some pics of the oil in Gulf Shores, AL ... I have them on my picture trail .. it is so sad .. and so disheartning and tragic!!! :( :( :(

The fishing closures have expanded to Panama city, Fl where we fish .. I will let DH map out the coordinates so we can know for sure! this past weekend could have possibly been our last fishing trip for a LOOOONG time :( :( :(... and it was a BEAUTIFUL one .. makes me sick to my stomach to think of oil all over those beautiful waters and animals :( :mad: :( ... we need to PRAY for our Gulf Coast!!!!

I will try to get my pics of the weekend downloaded soon .. so we all can see how wonderful the Gulf is!!!
 
Hi Girls!

Almost time to go home but I am here by myself for a few so I thought it would be a good idea to check in!

My workout today was Amy Bento's bics, B&G's abs and a 5 mile run on the TM. Mostly hills and intervals.

Wendy** You know me to well:p Hopefully I will get chest in tomorrow morning. I aslo have one more section to read in my book and then I can really concentrate on studying! I thought those dvds were released? I guess I didn't read it that well! LOL

Diana** Intervals and hills are awesome when you are short on time, its a good way to get a good workout in!

Laura** Ugh! Sorry to hear your day started out supre crappy! I hate those days when you feel like you should just go back to bed! I have those every now and then. It breaks my heart to see pics of the oil spill..can't handle it at all. Poor animals!

I may bbl tonight...although when DS goes to bed I am really going to hit the books and hopefully write my exam on Sunday!!

Hi ladies,

Even though I plan everything out, nothing is going as planned. I'm thankful I ran this morning.. Had planned on shopping at lunch and taking Jerod to lunch...he wanted to hang out with a friend and I ended up working through lunch. One of my coworkers brought me back a sandwich.:D Tomorrow should be leg day but I'm switching the second leg day and bi's and shoulders because bootcamp is too hard after heavy leg training. Since I have to leave work early....and MIL is taking us to dinner for DH's birthday...I'm going to miss bootcamp class UUUGGHH:mad: Now the plan is to do Shoulders & Biceps tomorrow morning, run Friday morning and do heavy legs at lunch.

Laura-I just checked out your pics..how sad is the beachfront.:( It's one thing to just read about it...but seeing it puts it all in perspective. And it's continuing to leak thousands of gallons each day...hope they get it fixed soon. Who know what the long term effect of this damage will be. For some reason I thought the run off was this month...you DSIL has another month of stress to deal with! Best of luck with campaigning.

Lori-I struggled with the intervals this morning. The only way to improve my time is add in speed work. I ran the first mile, did intervals for about a half a mile or so...then was so winded I basically jogged up the hill and kept that same pace the rest of the way home. It was 4 miles in total.

Wendy-had to check my email after seeing your post....my dvd's shipped today also. Of course I don't know where they are coming from or when they will arrive! I hope you like STS as much as the rest of us. Meso 2 is my favorite, but you see real strenght gains in meso 3. Make sure to print out your workout cards in advance, it's very helpful. I think I sent you the excel spreadsheets, or you can use the downloaded version from this site.
