Good Morning!:)

I never did get back here yesterday! Busy at work, DD's dance show was last night and then cards with the gals! Tonight I am suppose to be going to a jewelry party and my "friends" house but I am bailing. Made up some excuse why I couldn't go!:)

Yesterdays workout was 10k run with the dog. I am going outside again today with my running partner and DS in the stroller. I may take the dog out later for a short 5k or so....just to get him out. He may be sore from yesterday...who knows? Im sure its possible.

Wendy** You haven't started the thread yet!! Or maybe you are doing it right now while I am doing this!:eek:

Diana** Glad to hear you enjoyed BC class. I bet it was a toughie. My first run since the marathon was last week. I think the furthest I have went so far was 11 km. I will wait a little while before I start training for the next marathon. Maybe the beginning of July...or maybe even the middle.

Jacque** I think my running partner as finally stopped her chit chat about the marathon and all other marathons. I am sure she will bring up something today while we are running! LOL

Laura** Happy to hear your mom is doing good! Such a worry when our family is sick! DH is trying to convince is grandmother to go into a home. Its not really a nursing home. Right now she lives in a building, with apartments and she is 3 floors up! She can barely walk right now. She keeps complaining about the weather...even when its nice. She doesn't want to blame her failing joints on her age...so she blames it on the weather. So there is a really nice place that just opened up and they provide her meals so she doesn't need to cook for herself. Problem is....she doesn't cook for herself now...my MIL takes her to her house all the time. We figure she doesn't want to move into this new building b/c she won't get the attention she gets now. Its a bit much on my inlaws and mostly on my FIL b/c if they have her for supper , he is the one who don't enjoy a couple of glasses of wine b/c he as to take her home! I think he is at his breaking point!

O.k...I will bbl to report my workout!

Good Morning Ladies,

Actually I guess it's Wednesday...what do I know at this early hour.:p I didn't sleep well last night and am not sure if I'm up for a run this morning or not. I'm trying to convince myself to go out even if for a shorter run, just to keep building up my endurance.

I have meetings from 9-noon today. What is with all these meetings UGH...I can't get any work done sitting in meetings.

Hopefully y'all see my thread..albeit the wrong day. I tried to change it but can't figure out how. Fixed IT!!

Wendy-since the BH dvd's will be arriving later than expected, I will be giving you the review!

Good Morning.

Nope, Lori, I did not start the thread this morning. Ran out of time. I see that you and Diana battled for lead thread starter this morning though so all was not lost! :D:p

Today's work out was Tonique 2/Disc 1 in full. Hit both lower body, upper body and cardio well. No time for abs or inner thigh work but I don't feel bad. Nope. Not one bit! ;)

Diana:: Yes, you will be able to review the weight work out if nothing else. I am sure I will try the cardio asap but the weight work out will have to wait a while...

hEY LADIES ..

OMG .. the asylum is in warp speed .. it is insane .. mngr gone .. AND we are short handed .. AND we are collecting in projects .. OH LAWD .. we have been cussed and threatneed today .. it is crazy .. had just a sec to check in ..

First of all a big woohoooo for me .. I taught 60 min kicka$$ class last night ... no abs .. but did cycles of light plyo work - hvy weighted LB work - then multi rep no weight LB - then hvy weight UB work .. I managed .. jump squats - fast jumps - lateral jumps - plia jumps - and some plyo jacks .. but those hurt .. I modified .. but it was good to move and not be in agony .. I sweated up a strom and have DOMS in the buttocks today :D :D :D

Wendy ... I am jealous was telling one of my students about Tonique and how i was dying to get back to it .. LOL .. have a feeling I will be able to do it by next week!! :D (minus abs)

Di .. so I am not only one having trouble remembering what day it is .. LOL .. I looked at your post first thing .. and thought it was right .. TUE .. OLOLOLOL

Lori .. it is bad when parents get older and cant take care like they used to .. my mother still works .. and still looks great .. no one can believe she is 65 ... but she does tend to put off dr visits .. sooo kinda have to treat her a little like a kid .. "how do you feel? What are you eating? Are you sure you dont need to go to Dr?" ...

hello to all that follow .. gotta jet .. have a great day .. today no class .. REST day (not that I have not had enough of those) .. but after today I need peace and quiet .. going home and pack some stuff for weekend .. going to beach as long as they dont extend fishing closure .. right now our waters are ok .. it is coming.. but maybe we can get some trips in b-4 they cut it off .. on vaca FRi ... and finally get to fish .. but will look like beached whale in bikini on boat .. :confused: oh well :D :cool: have a great one:D
 
Hey Girls!

We went for a run in the a.m and pushing that stroller with 30lbs in it, really did me in! Ugh!:eek: It isn't to bad when I go it alone but when I go with my friend, I try to keep up with her. I can manage but I can't talk! LOL She offered to push the stroller if its nice tomorrow! haha!

I also wanted to get some kind of weight workout in but wasn't sure how I was gonna swing it with DS playing in the backyard. So I text DH and asked if he wanted to workout tonight...and he does...now WHAT TO DO?? I wanted to do a full body workout but after our last workout, I don't think he would be to impressed. And Im sure he wouldn't be impressed with a hour long leg workout either. We could do 4DS legs and shoulders? Not to long.

Diana** I think you beat me to the thread. I was gonna copy and paste my message but my attention was pulled else where. Did you get your run in? I think I need to go to bed early tonight...to many late nights!!!:confused:

Wendy** Nice workout this a.m. I am trying to stay awake now. I pulled out my PT stuff but it was boring me. I really need to get pass this. Ugh! Do I really need to learn about the digestive tract....urinary tract...etc!? I don't think so.

Laura** I don't think I would be able to work where you work! I don't like being yelled at! LOL Espeically when its not my fault. So what kind of fish are you fishing for exactly??

Oh...I am sooo lazy now but its dinner time. I should get moving and make a salad dressing to go with my salad! BUT I would really,really like to have a cat nap!!

Today has been a day from H##### .. CRAP ... come on 5 oclock

Lori .. we fish for snapper, grouper, kings, mahi mahi, or any running fish .. of course we always catch sharks .. :mad: .. we would like to rack up on snapper and grouper though .. that is main thing we are looking for!!! :cool: .. and let me tell you .. this job .. days like this .. our nerves are shot .. feel mentally drained .. stressed out ... it has been a bad one!! :( .. I seee some cabs in my future :confused: :D :p
