Good Morning.

Very quiet day here y'day. Only myself and Lori were around. Hopefully Diana and Jacque are back in action today!

Today will be only Tonique and abs. I was going to add extra cardio but not in the mood to get movin' yet so I won't have time. Tonique has a lot of cardio moves in it anyway so I'm not worried about skipping the separate cardio for today.

Good Morning!

Quick check in for me cause I am going to head out for a run. I had planned on taking most of today off but of course I have a flight at 12:30 and 3:30 so I guess I will be going in from 11:30-4:30!:mad:

On a brighter note the sun is shining for the first time in ages!!! So I will be heading out for a run soon,unless DH gets up and decides to go to work early! I have to beat him to it!

I'm back!

Tonique2/disc2 this morning. It has 2 leg torture segments back to back and then a short upper body section. I did the 2 leg torture segments minus the last 2 exercises to save a few mins. It took about 40 minutes w/w/u and stretch. I also did 100 lower ab lifts and 50 inner thigh leg lifts per side.

Diana/Jacque:: FYI, for Tonique2...the difference between the 2 w/o's in this set is that disc1 focuses more on sculpting and disc2 focuses more on cardio but BOTH have sculpting AND cardio in them and BOTH burn the heck outta the lower body!!!!. Someone had asked me that a while back and I really couldn't remember what the difference was at the time!:p HTH! :)

Lori:: Your DH ( a MAN ) get up early and head into work when he doesn't have to? Uh...I don't think so! You'll be able to run this morning. No worries! LOL ;)

Still have lunches to pack so I gotta scram!

Hi Ladies,

I tried to post last night, but hit a key on this crazy laptop (yep, I have one to Lori) and post disappeared. Oh well. My legs were pretty sore yestday from Monday's bootcamp class. Fortunately the rotation called for MMA Boxing and I did that with 1lb weights. This w/o has a nice ab section at the end, but it is not much of a calorie burner for me. Only burned a little over 300 calories but enjoyed the workout just the same.

This morning I should be doing legs. Still not sure if that is going to happen. I have an early morning meeting and don't want to be rushed. If not, this will be my day off and I'll do legs on Thurs.

Wendy-the Tonique w/o's must be pretty good as you haven't tired of them, or moved on to something else yet. :D We did these squat then lift one leg out to the side and circle around behind you into a lunge. Those definitely worked the glutes...yeouch! I'm assuming Tonique or BBL has exercises along those lines.

Lori-enjoy your morning run in the sunshine. We had rain last night but the sun is out this morning. Mid 60's today, but 80 on Friday and Saturday! I'm sure you beat your DH outta the house!:p

Laura-Did you go to the Dr.?? How bad is it? Hopefully you are resting and will heal quickly. {{hugs}}.

Jacque-What have you been up to, besides enjoying all your personal time off!

Diana:: Hey, I did a solid BBL rotation for a month w/o growing tired of it and continued to use it religiously even after the rotation was over until I found Tonique! :p But yes, I love Tonique. I will mix BBL back in w/it as some point too though just to get more variety! Jen and I are due to start 1Rm's for STS at the beginning of June. Still trying to decide how to handle the leg work. It really comes down to if I am ready to give up Tonique/BBL for a while yet!:D As for the exercise you described from class, yes those kinds of moves are definitely in Tonique. Not sure about BBL though. I can't remember tbh.
 
Hello ladies! :( I am down for the count for a while :(:( .. there is good news and bad news .. good news it is the cartilage on the rib cage torn .. not the bone ... he said I missed the bone by a smidgen .. I have a torn tricep w/a hematoma on it ... :( .. he said If I had not been in the shape I am I would have broken pelvis and arm!!! :confused: he did say the cartilage will heal faster than if it were the bone .. said I was lucky it tore right at the joint of cartilage and rib bone .. I stayed at home yesterday .. back at work today .. I was ok till I got dressed .. and started breathing shallow and had pain . . I finally figured out it was my stupid underwire bra pressing on the rib .. sooooo I took it off and put on stinky sports bra had in car :confused: OH WELL .. I feel better :eek:

So you ladies put in some extra time exercising for me .. he said NOTHING for 7 - 10 days.. then I could ease back into it .. but no ABS for a while :( just call me FAT@$$ .. ug :mad:.. I may EEEASE back into this weekend w/a walk if I can take it .. ???

Wendy ... I hope I am complaining right there w/you about DOMS from tonique sooooooon!!!!!!

DI .. ya .. you know if Wendy has not tired of them yet ... they have to be GOOD!!! :D

(((((LAURA)))))) So sorry this is happening to you but you are lucky you didn't crack your rib I guess! Take it easy. Let everything heal. I know...easier said then done! :confused:
 
Hi Ladies,

Work has been so hectic lately. I have to be to work early Friday and have all day training sessions on Tues and Wed next week (starting at 8am). At some point I'm going to have to start getting up earlier and working out earlier. I like working out between 6:30-8:15. It allows me a cup or two of coffee and my check-in time.

Laura-so glad you went to the dr. Best to rest and take care of yourself. At least you have a good reason for not working out. I'm just too lazy to get myself up earlier.

Wendy-I didn't see a preorder option on the Tonique site so I'm just checking it once a week or so to see when they become available again.

Hey Girls!:)

I had a busy day today. My real boss was here so I had to look busy at work:) My mood was good while he was there but as soon as he left it went out the poop shoot! When they leave (cause they come in herds) thats all my old boss wants to talk about. I think he is obsessed with them...I think he wants to be one of "them". They are busy, business people with lots of money and I think he wants to be tightly nipped to them:rolleyes:. So when they leave, that's all he wants to talk about and I don't care to hear him so I just ignore him until he goes to his office and talks to someone on the phone. I know guys...I really need to get out of there but not until I finish this course.
He did ask me today if I was looking for a job. I conviently left my enrollment paper on the desk....;) I told him what I was doing (not the course) , just told him I was doing something online and he said that he would need to know if I were staying around b/c he is relyig on us two and he put all of his eggs in one basket. Puh...I never told him to only have the two of us there, that was his own doings...not my prob. The longer I stay the more I realize that he is #1 and that is who he is looking out for. Anyway......6 down....3 to go!!!

Wendy** I think its been quiet everywhere lately! LOL I guess we are just all to busy to chat! Now I would chat alot more if I didn't have a manager who didn't go home! I should inform him that everyone else takes lunch breaks. I guess it will only be a matter of time before he goes back to his old ways.

Diana** I have to have coffee time and check in time in the morning. And if I don't get to do it, the day just doesn't seem right.

Laura** Does the 26.2 miles I have to run on the 30th fall into your 10 days off cause if it does, I have you covered!:p Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well.....damn spiders! You will be back at it in no time.

So todays workout was 11k outside (BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!) and abs! I am not sure what tomorrows workout will be or when i will be around. I have to go to work early so I may leave shortly after lunch.
