Jacque:: I must tell you this before I forget! We went back to the driving range y'day. This time I was able to get through the 2 buckets of balls with DH but still walked away with a sore knuckle in addition to 2 blisters on the opposite hand!!! :confused::eek::confused::rolleyes:
 
Well after work yesterday we ended up going to the Festival to see what needs to be done today so no workout. :( I will be doing CCPP sometime, hopefully before I leave but not sure and then DS2 will be down. I can always come home in between and then go back since we are only 1/2 a mile from the park. That was my walk yesterday, I guess ! :p

I was sitting around waiting for DH to get ready last night and was just about ready to order my GWF but then he was itching to leave. So as soon as I'm done here I AM CAVING GIRLS ! ! ! :eek: Gonna go through Amazon so I get the 3 months free subscription and free shipping. Will keep you posted so Wendy will feel the "pressure". LOL ! ! ! :D

Wendy – was worried about you, good to see you are OK. I guess if you have nearly 20K posts since this new website started again I was right to worry, huh? ;) So SS is similar to Jackie, are they heavier weights? Good job going to the driving range again. Didya talk DH into lessons yet? Really think it would be a great idea – perhaps you can 2 for the price of 1? :p Are you wearing a glove on your non-dominant hand? That will help quite a bit, though when I haven't played for a while I'd get blisters too. Always had band aids in my bag. You are almost giving me the gumption to go hit a basket now you know . . . It would be fun to go play with my DS1 who was on the golf team in high school and has just started playing more regularly now. Hmmmm. . . :rolleyes: Have a great time out tonight !

Jen – “fancy pedometer”, I like that one. I don’t worry about what people think, just get tired of “defending” myself for watching my health and enjoying a reasonable weight.

Diana – woo hoo for a good night sleep & DOMS yesterday ! Hope you are better so you don’t need the ibuprofen today. I don’t worry about the lazy people or their bad eating habits – just would like them to keep their comments to themselves if they are only trying to make me feel guilty for trying to stay healthy. Ahhhhh suicides, brings back high school sports training. Had to do those for volleyball and basketball. Actually Cathe does that in Drill Max on a much smaller scale.

Lori - if you get here today, GOOD LUCK TOMORROW ! ! ! Get a new PR - I know you can ! ! ! :D

OK - I'm a GWF fanatic now too ! Well at least I will be in a week or so ! :p

Now no more talk about Insanity around here until I get this 'Enabled Purchase' paid for huh ! ;)

Speaking of . . . now that Cathe has started the STS Cardio, anyone read how much longer it may take?
 
Hi Ladies,

I had a great time with DH and his friends. He is setting up 2 of his friends. One is a woman he works with (her husband has a girlfriend). The other is a guy he's known for about 25 years and just got back in touch with. He's been in a long term relationship for the last 13 years but his girl decided she likes women. Such is life.

We ate dinner at the restaurant and I had a smothered chicken burrito, and 2 mojitos. I even requested they not make them too sweet and they were perfect. It was nice to go out with DH for a bit. I give him crap about this all the time because he doesn't like to go out on the weekends because the restaurants are packed and he doesn't like to wait; but for some reason it's fine to go out with his friends on weekend nights.

I'm going to see if Jerod will ride bikes today. It's time to sign him up for football and we can ride to the registration. It is supposed to be in the 90's again though.

It's time to get back to kb's today. I have a 10 min solution kb dvd so I will probably start with that one and then put in one of the AOS w/o's. Not sure about cardio but need to get that in today....that's where the bike ride comes in.

Wendy-have fun tonight. Jerod was a little miffed he wasn't included last night. We did bring him home some food and he was happy with that. I really want insanity but want to pay of my cc first from my last 2 trips to Oregon. We are also considering refinancing our house so I want my CC clear before we do that.

Jacque-congrats on the GWF purchase. Can't wait to hear your reviews. Still considering it for my birthday in September. I hear many more positive reviews than negative. I think if its not set up right obviously the calculations will be incorrect...just like a hr monitor. Have fun at the festival.

Hey Girls.

Did Mix It Up this morning and although the leg work wasn't crazy, I can hardly walk now! :eek: Hurts so good. ;) I follwed MIU up with 20 minutes of TJ Cardio Party and then a bit of extra lower body stretching with Cool It Off Express. Yeah, I had a BB party this morning. :)

Jacque:: Enjoy CCPP when you do it later. Congrats on your GWF purchase! I expect that you will fuel my newly found fire to buy this thing even more girl! So did you order the display too?? You and I have both been struggling so I will be uber excited to hear what your results are with it. :D

Diana:: Glad you had fun last night. Good choice on the beverage. ;) All I can say about DH and going out to eat is :rolleyes:. Sometimes men just can't be figured out. LOL I can understand why that would bother you though. It would bug me too and trust me, I'd give DH no end of grief for it if it were me! :mad: Save your money and get the GWF when you have the cash on hand. That's what I intend to do!

Gotta go for now but hope to be before we leave later!
