Damage Control...Happy Happy Saturday! :)

Okay, I'm back. I think I'm gonna hit my w/o very soon here so that it can be done early and I can do whatever I want with the rest of my day. I am changing it up a bit though. Instead of doing full body weights today and cardio tmrw I am going to do lower body from MIS with 4DS Higher Intensity Step today and then do upper body from MIS with 4DS Lower Intensity Step tmrw. Change is good right? Truth is I ate too much last night. All healthy but too much food nonetheless. I am feeling guilty and when that happens I need to do cardio to burn it off (the food AND the guilt). :rolleyes:

Hi Ladies,

Well I must've had an exhausting week, I fell asleep around 9:30 last night. Of all things, I realized I forgot my purse at work and had to go back to get it last night, UGH.

We do not have any plans for the weekend. I may try to do some decluttering in the kitchen, and the basement needs a lot of work too. The kids started rearranging it, but it is in the phase where it looks worse before it looks better. At least my w/o area is clear!

Yesterday was STS legs and I have some DOMs in backside for sure. Cardio is on my agenda for this weekend. Not sure what I can do though. DWP is always a good one. I prefer to do that one on work days. Maybe I can do KS Absolute Kickbox.

My foot has been bothering me more than my knee which is why I've decided to have the surgery. After the 6 weeks recovery time I should be able to run and maybe even wear heels again! I haven't been able to do either for about 5 years. I'm mostly looking forward to being able to complete a 60 min or longer dvd w/o pain free.

Wendy-Your w/o change sounds like a winner! Enjoy your day. I didn't notice the complaints on the forum that you mentioned last night. You know, people will always find something to bi*** about. I basically have all of cathe's w/o's, so when she offers her coupons they aren't any good to me. I'm certainly not going to complain about that. I preorder the w/o series and feel I get the best price doing so.

Diana:: Enjoy your w/o today, whatever it is you choose! I don't have any plans this w/e either. DH is working today so I will probably take Joey to the park or Chuck E. Cheese depending on the weather. Other then that I have laundry to do. I cleaned on Thursday so not much to do be done to that end. YAY! The b*tching about presale pricing is in Ask Cathe IIRC. I hate that "it gets worse before it gets better" phenomenom but it's certainly true at times! Maybe you should employ some help and plow thru it since you have no plans to suck up your time.

MIST is done! I had to modify a lot of moves since many of them bothered my knee. I loved the boxing at the beginning. I also had to modify some of the ab work as it was too much for my lower back. I had some time to burn before I started my w/o so I did abs. I did 3 set of 10 rollouts using my ab wheel w/10# plate on my shoulders, and 3 sets of 10 leg lifts, using a 30#bb for the upper body. Using the barbell helps keep the back from coming off the ground, kind of like a counter weight.

When I came upstairs from my w/o, DH informed some friens of ours from Nebraska are coming over. They may even spend the night with us. The guy is the best man from our wedding and one of DH's nearest and dearest friend. He moved to Nebraska and met his wife. They live on a ranch with their 5 or yr old daughter Arika (pronounced Erica).

So much for decluttering. DH vacuumed the whole house and dusted during my w/o. :D DS took care of leaves outside too! The boys also did a quick clean in the bathrooms.

Hello.

Well I did my nails this morning. I did the french manicure style but I used silvery gray on the tips and clear over it instead of the pinkish color you will usually find. It looks sharp! After lunch I took DS to Chuck E. Cheese today. We tried to head to the park because the weather is AWESOME but they were having some X-Country Meet so it's shut down to everyone else until 4pm. :( DS still had fun though. I would of just rather hung around outside and gotten some fresh air and sunshine. Oh well. Maybe we can get one more good day soon so I can do that before it gets cold for good! Now I have to continue the laundry and wash dishes. By the time I'm done with that, DH will be home and it'll be time to start thinking about dinner....

Diana:: Your DH and boys are awesome! Can I rent them some time? :D Enjoy the company. Sounds fun and how nice for DH. Stinks when you are so far away from your closest friend. Good job doing MIST w/modifications. I love the boxing too. I picked up my 2# DB's for it when I did it the other day. Good stuff! The abs in that one are tough. Speaking of tough, I rarely do B&G abs but did them today and THAT was tough! :eek: My abs/core is getting stronger though. I am much better at planks then I used to be. Makes me happy. :)
