Hey Girls.

I just got back from the gym. A 5 miler is in the bag and I had Miss Grace for company. ;) I have several errands to run today. Let's hope I don't blow them off! I also need to pick up this house some.

So last night for my final snack I had an apple with some natural p/b while watching a movie called "The Legend" with DH. Anyone ever see it? I didn't see it from the very beginning but it was pretty good. This morning I had some ww crackers with a little pb on them and just now I had a protein shake with lf milk and 1 scoop powder for my post work out snack. I am still hungry though so I will be looking for something else (small) to eat before heading out to run errands.

DH and I just got new cell phones maybe 2 weeks ago and mine is already giving me problems! :mad: One of my stops today will be to go the Verizon store where we purchased them and ask them for help. I hope it's an easy fix.

Hi Girls...I see I am talking to myself again!:p

I got back from my errands just in time to unload and put away the groceries, eat lunch and now I am sitting for just a few mins with my coffee before I am back out the door to pick up DS from school. I'll get to the house cleaning after that. I swear! :rolleyes:

Before I headed out I ate 3 ww crackers with hummus and piece of cheese. It actually kept me happy for quite some time but by the time I was coming home from the grocery store I was starving again. LOL

I had an apple while I was unpacking the grocers and then had a turkey sandwich for lunch with ff cheese and hummus on it. Yes, I now have ww bread again. Phew!

I stopped at Verizon and the girl checked out my ph and sent 2 texts to her own that went right thru. She reset my phone-whatever that means and said it should be fine but to come back if not. So far so good. *fingers crossed*

I went to Sports Authority to check the price of a 30# kettlebell there. They had the vinly coated kind for $69.99. I was able to get the regular cast iron kind SHIPPED for less then that so I came home and ordered it online. Pretty is not THAT important to me! LOL

Well, I think that brings me up to the present moment. Hopefully someone else will post soon....:)
 
Hey Ladies,

It's been a hectic morning to say the least. Oldest DS called just after starting the Step Blast challenge to say that his car broke down on the way to work and I needed to go get him. After changing into dry clothes and dropping the young one off at school I headed down to get him. On the way back we saw a car spin out. I was glad it wasn't me. After all that I was running very late for work so decided to work from home today.

We beat our low temp record for yesterday and today, -15 degrees yikes!!! Our high is supposed to be 9 degrees.

I'm going to head back downstairs and do the weight workout, I think its back and biceps. I'd also like to do the warmup and step blast challenge that I missed this morning.

So far I've had my standard breakfast, 2 cups hot chocolate w/marshmallows, and 1 wasa cracker w/natural pb. I know the hot chocolate isn't good, but the temps called for hot chocolate today. I will try to stick to hot water or tea for the rest of the day.

Wendy-glad you got your phone working. Where did you order your KB from?? Please share!

From the looks of the radar, everyone must be popsicles today. Pop in when you can ladies.
 
Just a quickie for me here . . .

With the upcoming road trip for work this week, have decided to do 4DS a bit different than the rotation. Will do the workouts as presented. This AM was back & shoulders after HIS. Fun and quite a workout.

Eats for me is the usual these days, (though not really eats !), cranberry juice with flax pre workout, protein drink after and I skipped my snack again. :mad:

Just cannot get into the routine of taking the time to eat right now. Lunch will be in a half hour: chili verde on a multi grain tortilla with a little light sour cream and 1/4 an avocado. Yum and good on a cool day. We will be near
50' here. Dinner: threw some grilled tri-tip cubes into the crockpot with onions, beans and diced tomatos. Can't wait for that either. I don't like being cold, but love the cooler weather foods !:p

Di: Sorry for your cold temps. We were WARM today! We had temps in the 60's! :eek: Glad you were able to work from home and sneak a work out in. What a comedy of errors for you this morning, huh? :)

Jacque: I use 4DS in all kinds of ways. It all works. It's all good. :) I have to giggle at you talking about not being able to take the time to eat your snacks or whatever. OMG, I don't have a choice!!! I get really nasty hungry super quick and then I'm useless until I get food. It's so not worth it for me to skip the snacks...unless I'm TRULY not hungry...Which will happen, though not often. LOL

For my afternoon snack I had lf cottage cheese with a handful of black seedless grapes. I've never had (nor heard of) BLACK grapes before today. I saw them in the foodstore this morning and decided to try them. Those suckers are HUGE and very good. Me likey! :D
For dinner I made salad and sausage and peppers. I made a large salad and ate that first and then had a very small portion of the sausage and peppers afterwards. I had a serving of the thin mint style cookies for dessert. They aren't too bad and they are yummy! I will eat a healthy snack later....after my wine ration!:D :)

My night time healthy snack was a banana and some pb. YUMMERS!

The wine has made me sleepy so this is goodnight ladies! :)
