Double yay for Friday and Christmas Eve :D but big time BOOH because I have to go to work today. :( I swear it's gonna be such a HUGE waste of time! UGH! :rolleyes:

Oooh, my legs and rear view are DOMS'ing a bit from y'day's work out. Me likey. :)

The rotation calls for IMAX2 today. FUN! It's been a while since I did that one. Love the music. :D

Went to mom's last night to celebrate Christmas. I got a few goodies...a 9# body bar for my beloved Kim Spreen work outs, KCM's Circuit Burn DVD and a $25.00 g/c to Dunkin Donuts! YUM! She is also paying for broadway show tickets for me and DH. We just have to pick what we want to go see. Can't wait! I love doing that! :) Her boyfriend bought us both visa gift cards cause it's always fun to shop with someone else's $ right? :p

Okay, let me get this bad boy posted before miss you know who :p sneaks a post in on me while I'm busy typing away.....

BBC S&B core on the floor ( I held elbow plank position thru 2/3's and then came up to straight arm plank for final 3rd. Joey does straight arm plank, and then side planks. I skipped the side planks. Hurt so good to hold it that long! ;))

Lori started a check in too but she was too slow. Posted her at 5:10am. I posted mine at 5:09! :p
 
Well here I am at work...UGH.

I had a few Christmas cards on my desk plus one w/a gift. I can't figure out the signature on the one with the gift! I have no idea who it is cause I can't read it! :eek: I'm gonna have to ask...I just hope I don't ask the person who actually gave it to me b/c I'll be even MORE embarrassed then. :rolleyes:

I hope 3pm comes fast! Though what I am REALLY hoping is to hear from my boss that I can leave before that! Fingers crossed! ;)

ETA:: So I asked someone who sits near me if they knew he the "mystery" gift giver was. Thankfully she knew and it wasn't her so it's all good now! LOL

Hi ladies,

It should be a pretty laid back day today. Tonight my whole family is coming over. There will be about 15-20 of us. It is my first time hosting Christmas Eve. We always spent Christmas Eve at my Dad's house. Last year my sister hosted and I think we will just continue to take turns. My stepmom even said she was coming over tonight.

I was up early and made peanut butter balls. They have to be refrigerated for an hour and then I will dip them in chocolate! YUM. I also made 7 layer bars, cookies, and ice cream dessert yesterday. We have plenty of treats to go around. I have some presents to wrap to day too.

My Peak 10 w/o's arrived yesterday at 6:30 pm...regular mail! DH is home so I'm not sure if I should risk a w/o with him here. If he's okay with it, I will do total body wts again, ala Muscle Max.

Wendy-Sorry you have to work today. Do you work in a bank? Nice score on the body bar. I only have a 15# body bar and my shoulders are always screamin' during KS Absolute Kickboxing.

Lori-hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family. You seem to host dinner quite a bit at your house. Is Rylan excited for Santa??? I saw a pic of your daughter and her date/boyfriend, she is very beautiful and looks just like you!

So I forgot to tell y'all...got my RUSK smoothing shampoo/conditioner that I had ordered so I used it this morning. Definitely can tell the difference after just one use! :)

Diana:: Have fun entertaining tonight! I don't get to do that often as my house is so small. Can't wait til we don't have to run run run for the holidays! :rolleyes: Yes ma'am-a bank. Not allowed to be closed for 2 consecutive days thus my being here when the rest of the world is home. :( I get more vacation time in 2011 though so I am going to try and save a few days just for times like these...;) If your DH won't let you work out today, use the time to start previewing your Peak 10 work outs! :D


...OH MY GOD. The president of the bank just came down in full Santa garb! One of the NICEST Santa suit's I've ever seen! How awesome is that!? :D

Well I've been running, running, running the last couple of days since I haven't felt the Christmas spirit but am caving quickly . . . :rolleyes:

Finished the shopping I needed to do about noonish after going out the past couple of days when I had time (killing my workout times). Last night was Sharks game and finally vegged in front of the TV watching it and working on my afghan (that I started over 10 years ago ! :eek:) Winter is a great time to pull it out since it keeps you warm while you are working on it ;)

Wendy - LOL at your posts today - I'm so happy I had the day off but still have to CleanMax now that I have CookedMax for tomorrow both AM (my kids) and PM (DS's family) GTG's. Whew ! Need to WrapMax too ! UGH ! ! !
Can't wait for Sun when it is all over and . . . since I didn't decorate . . . won't have to spend New Year's weekend cleaning up decorations ! Yea ME !:p Fun the Pres. came down in a Santa suit - good thing you were there! Hope the evening goes well . . . what are you doing tomorrow?

Diana - sounds like you are prepped and ready for the Xmas at your house tonight. I'm guessing I'll be having Xmas here next year and sure hope that finally I'll get to take some time off at Xmas ! The last couple of years have been sucky to say the least ! Did DH let you get a nice workout in? Have fun ! ! !

Lori - hope DS is OK and your GTG tonight goes off without a hitch. So you have to leave your GTG at 9 to go to work? Not right I say ! ! ! Have a great time - tomorrow will be your relaxing day, huh? Let SIL do it all ! ;-)
