Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there!

Our family is going out this evening to celebrate - looks like there's going to be 15 or 16 of us, so we'll keep the restaurant hopping! I'm not a mom, but my mom, sister, aunt and grandmother are.

Today will be SB, PLB, CM-2 and very possibly LawnMax, if I can fit it all in before we leave. I'd better get moving.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY !

My 15 yr old DD treated me to breakfast this morning!!!:)

I had strawberry/banana crepes, WITH whipped cream and ate every single bit. It was awesome!:9 :9 :9

Today is a rest day , so I did TBS#1 and that's it for me!

I hope everyone has a great day!!:D

Daily Check-in

Good morning! I started my CTX Series rotation this morning with 10*10*10 for the first time. Oh my! This may be an express workout, but it is very intense. It is also fun, fun, fun! :7 I even enjoyed the weight work at the end. My triceps are fried. I bought CTX Upper Body during the VHS sale last year, tried it once in December after my first Slow and Heavy Series rotation, and did not like it at all. I thought it was too frantic and too easy. What was I thinking! My perception has obviously changed! At this point in my journey, the whole upper body split would be super challenging for me. Of course, I have been doing circuit training and cardio exclusively since March. I can see why everyone loves the CTX Series!

I still weigh 195 pounds this morning. The 15 pounds of bloat from my soy reaction has not departed, but at least I feel better after working out with Cathe this morning. :) I am planning to eat plenty of fresh fruit this week and drink a gallon of water every day. Hopefully, that will flush it out.

This is my planned rotation for the next 3-4 weeks:

Sunday - 10*10*10 (triceps)
Monday - Kickbox (biceps)
Tuesday - Leaner Legs + cardio gliding (homemade circuit)
Wednesday - Step and Intervals (chest)
Thursday - Power Circuit (back)
Friday - rest
Saturday - Leaner Legs + All Step (shoulders)

I need to get ready for worship. Have a blessed Sunday and Mother’s Day! :)

Blessings,
Heather B.

Had every intention of doing chin-ups and push-ups yesterday, but didn't get beyond the athletic step section of Cardio Toolbox and sections 1-4 of Step Sational.

Today I started with chin-ups, so I'm on track there, and I'll do push-ups later. Did sections 1-4 of Solid Gold Step, 4-8 of Step Sational, and the athetic step section of Cardio Toolbox again.

Cardio Toolbox is going to be a good add-on DVD. I like Mindy because her stuff is pretty simple to catch onto.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! To those of you are mothers and also to those of you who do not have children but is a mother/mentor/friend to someone.

We had our cookout yesterday and it was great!! I did pretty well especially since it was my high calorie day also, that helped.

The only thing I got in yesterday was my own w/o of tri's and bi's since DH had the living room TV before everyone got here. I just put on my MP3 player and started lifting.

Today is circuit day and it needs to be a good one!! I took a rest day Friday and no cardio yesterday so I need a "jump start".

Have a great day!!!

I've never participated in check-ins before. Can I just jump in?

Friday ended up being a rest day, not intentionally, but my back acted up before I got to my workout in the afternoon. Yesterday I made up for it by doing Rythmic Step AND Legs & Glutes.

This morning I did Pyramid Upper Body AND the step portion of LoMax. I love weekends, all that extra time to work out! I usually only do 60 min/day so this weekend was a great bonus.

We're getting rain here again (have had it all week, and are supposed to have it for another several days) so it looks like I'll be stuck with indoor cardio again this week.

Shannon, have a great time with the family! You have an awesome workout planned!!

Becky..what a great DD! Enjoy your rest day..

Phyllis, have a great day, sounds like some good eating.

Tammy...S&H is great. I hope your back is doing better.

Heather..CTX is so fun! I bet you will enjoy a good rotation with it.

Honeybunch...sounds like a good workout!

Jane...hope you get in a fun circuit.

Welcome gym-mom! Good workout and I also enjoy the workouts on weekends...more time is great!

I got up at 3 AM to do a run at 4 AM!! I am going to be pacing a runner in the Western States 100 mile Ultra run next month. I will be pacing her for 20 miles but most likely in the dark! They have these headlamps for that and I used mine today with my sister. It was fun actually and alot cooler in the dark! I ran 20 miles today, so I am getting ready...:)

Have a great day all of you...:)

Just finished my circuit and it was fun!!! I put together Boot Camp Cardio and lower body premix and HSTA Cardio and upper body premix. I then went back to Boot Camp and did the core only premix and then the BC stretch.

Clocked in at 1 hour 21 minutes. It was so much fun and the equipment was the same so these two fit together very nicely.

Good late evening,

This morning I managed to squeeze in Leaner Legs. I love that workout; I obviously need to be lifting heavier!

Happy Mother's Day (or evening)!

Welcome Gym Mom! Jumping right in is the way Cathe would want it. If you can add a tuck while you're jumping, even better!

Carole - what an interesting run you had!! That's really neat! I love your graphics today.

Jane - That's a *terrific* mish mosh! Great idea. I'm going to try to remember that for when I have time for longer workouts. I'm sure you'll be feeling that tomorrow!

I hope Joey's first birthday party went well for Wendy.

I'd best get to bed (yawn). 'Night!
Sandra
