Daily Check In, Weekend of Oct.26-27

Hi all,

Started off the day with Great Glutes ( premix with the chair work instead of the floor). I highly recommend that one, it is good and the chairwork is tough. Then I did X10 High low with my trusty rebounder. I am not sure if I will love this workout in its entirety, that comes in the rotation next week sometime...

Errands, cleaning and that kind of stuff..

hi conni,

i must try that segment from great glutes - I did the floor work only I think. I am really enjoying X10.

This morning I did Paul Katami's Kettlebell workouts for beginners. I used a free weight to try it out (dvd from library). It was really good, moved quickly and gets a huge sweat on. wow. I stopped after two segments (55 minutes). Even the tutorial is a sweat maker.

Like you - I am around the house, running errands. Goodness it seems so many of my friends are having serious life troubles marriage, money, mental health.... Everyone turns to the Counsellor:)

Have a great day all of you. I am so thankful to have your all to check in with each day:D

Hi Siobhan,

We do seem to hang in this check in through thick and thin don't we? Gotta have something that is consistent in our lives, I think.

Today was PRS 1 and abs from BM 2.
Have you done x10 in its entirety? I can handle this in small doses, but I do prefer some breaks in my cardio..

Cleaning and running more errands today. DS Golf banquet is next week and I am running around getting things ready for that. After that is over I need to concentrate on getting a new car. I know what I want, I just need to get to the dealer and get the haggling over with. Not a fun prospect..

Happy Sunday ladies. Just finished Super Cuts. Love, love that one. I've been strolling every evening with mom. Its about one mile we walk. I do love the conversations we have.

I don't know if I mentioned I applied for the governor's appointment to my ex-bosses seat. You would not believe the drama. My current boss told me if I applied he would be uncomfortable with me and it would be inappropriate. With the support of my family and the women's groups I applied. A few days after I applied my boss asks me again if I applied and was surprised I did. When I asked him why he had a problem with my applying he said "because your an executive assistant that why!". The governor is now down to choosing between two, both men. One man is the CEO of his company, the other is a 40 yr old that works for a local cable company and has no government experience but is looking to run for the spot next year. I had the support of several women groups and many Hispanic groups. Thru it all it was a really great experience. I saw who my friends really are and the true colors of others.

Thanks for letting me share.

Have a fabulous Sunday.

Carmen.
