Tammy, enjoy your rest day, even though I detect you're not exactly thrilled about WHY it's a rest day.;-) :eek:

You guys were right. I DID enjoy KB from 4DS. I have to modify some of the kicks-as they aggravate my back but I liked that KB better than any of Cathe's others and I WILL do it again!!!:7
That was a nice surprise for me.

Today is yoga/pilates/stretch. I haven't chosen mine yet but I'll find something. I think extra stretching with a heavy weight rotation like this one is a great idea !!!

The pumpkin spice pancakes at IHOP were fantastic ! I ate 3 of them with butter pecan syrup and enjoyed every bit with no guilt !
DD & I spent a great day together. :D I'm lucky that at age 16, she still WANTS to do stuff like that with me!

Becky, I am going to do 4DS KB today.

What an awful nights sleep. I wesnt to bed around 10, woke up at 1:15 and was unable to get back to sleep until after 3!! I came SO close to getting up to exercise, but figured I would regret it because I'd be too tired today!

I am supposed to give one of Amy's Slo Mo work outs a shot today but I have this strange urge to do Core Synergistics. I can't do anything until after work though so we'll see where I am at that point. Knowing me I'll end not doing either and choose something completely different! LOL

Hang in Tammy, I hate those functions too. So phony and contrived, imo.

Anyways, Today was a good mishmosh: Amy KBX Great NRG premix ( 57 minutes), and then Cathe's KB, cardio only and then core. After Amy, Cathe seemed pretty simplistic by comparision, and her music drives me crazy, it is so monotonous. It almost reminded me of the "screaming" song in RS!

I did Tai Chi for the first time (for my yoga/pilates/stretch workout) and really , REALLY liked it !
I need to find a way to add this into my week. I have no idea how (!):eek: but I loved the mix of balance, strength and breathing and in this particular one, there was even a little cardio !
I did Tai Chi Balanced workout with Janis Saffell. I bought it almost a year ago and never opened it until this morning. How pathetic is that ??
I WILL NOT tell DH that, because he will just say that proves I have too many workouts , and IMO, you can NEVER have too many workouts!:7 }( ;)

Now I am ready to start my day with energy !

Here's to fun company functions, Coach Sean, cool 16 year old daughters, Kick Boxing vids (except the KB from the HC series--icky music), Tai Chi, and strange urges!

I have Low Max and S&H Back and Chest on tap today. In consultation with a trainer, I'll be working my parts nice and heavy 2x a week to work towards my goals. I'm hoping I can stick with the program!

Becky - Oh IHOP! I love going there but the closet one is over an hours drive away :)and Wow over the Tai Chi! over a year ? and just opening up now ? lol sounds like you had a diamond you just found out about :)what a nice bonus eh?

Wendy - lol have a great and wonderful whatever workout you end up choosing too :)

Conni - you made me almost spew my coffee on my key board laughing so much at your comment about that screaming song -giggle fits- :D

Patti - boy how I would love to have a consult with a personal trainer but Cathe is as close to one I'll get esp. living in my area . Sounds like a nice plan and yes stick w/ the program :)

I actually did NOT go off into left field today. I did Core Syn like I wanted to. Great work out!

I have a run on tap for tmrw and I will NOT change that!:p
