I rose extra early this morning (I love Spring mornings when it's light by 5am) and did the following workout: Dan the hiit man - his latest 20 minute cardio workout - 40 on 10 off. I added on Tiff & Dan - 30 minute upper body workout. I will do my own stretch now.
Nicki - this was the workout that slayed me yesterday:I started with it else I'd have quit if it had been an add on workout. Good luck with your move. I'm excited for your new workout space.

Today was Cathe's Rock 'em Sock 'em which is 48 minutes long. I am really sore from yesterday's workout. Not sure why??
Siobhan, I don't get bored at the gym, if anything it gets me out of the house and I have friends or acquaintances that I see and talk to, there is variety between different types of weight machines, barbells, cables, dumbbells, the sled, mats for abs or a stretch. There's cardio as in treadmills, elliptical and stair machines and a rowing machine. And it has air conditioning in the summer, which I don't have at home for cardio.
Yesterday a young man (maybe high school age) saw me putting plates on the sled and from behind a column (and I didn't see him because I was looking down at a plate) asked if I needed more put on since he was holding 2, he startled me because he was behind the column. These days I startle easily. He told the kid he was with that the 6 I had on the sled to start was nothing compared to what I can do. I seem to influence more people all the time but only a few will actually talk to me.
Well, my workout is done and now I need to change so I can go to my post op oral surgeon appointment in the rain.
