Cathe Live: Cardio, Barre & Core Meltdown (#190).​


The first section was based on the Rock’m Sock’m Blizzard Blast. Followed by standing barre-Which always has a dread factor for me, but I know how important it is to work those smaller muscles. Finished with a unique core section using the gliding discs then a few moves with no equipment.

Added on a 20 minute recovery ride to flush out my legs.

Aqua girl… love the idea of the blender. Someday I may subscribe to the on-demand. My daughter bought me the live subscription for Christmas.

Today was Jeanette Jenkins Kickboxing-Bootcamp which is 50 minutes. Trying to do circuit workouts for my cardio this week so technically I will do some form of weights everyday. I also wore me wrist weights for the whole workout, which means I either ues only the wrist weights for the weighted work or I also held 3 pound weights. This was tougher and more sweaty than I remembered.

Nice job Linda on your workout, we worked out just about the same amount of time.

Hopefully we all get in a great workout today.

I’m always amazed at how many workouts are available to us these days. I don’t have a clue with some of the instructors you ladies mention.

I stick to mostly Cathe, Peloton and CDorner Fitness. Also Kat Gates Buettner when she releases a new step routine.
 
Hey Chele, Jeanette Jenkins has been around awhile she has several workouts on DVD and does some on PopSugar on YouTube.

If you like CDORNER check out Jamie McKagan on YouTube her format is almost identical to CDORNER'S. But she is British. I love cardio kickboxing so I gravitate toward those type of workouts.

I do Billy Blanks' Taebo and some of Kelly Coffey Meyer's DVDS. Most can be found on YouTube also.

I like variety.

I have, follow along on machines with IFit, and Cathe & Kelly Coffey-Meyer are “my girls”

Annette, great job with Jeanette Jenkins Kickboxing-Bootcamp -50 minutes.
I used to have tons of Jeanette’s dvds…might still have some.

I have had OnDemand since the beginning, & yes, the blender is something in itself!

Blender- "Metabolic Moves" - 28 min.- I love metabolic workouts, this sounds amazing, WTG & high fives
IFit- "Quick Sprints" treadmill workout - 23 min. This also sounds great. You are nailing the fun workouts today.
