Hello everyone,

Haven't worked out yet. Wednesdays is my day off, but today I went to work cause colleagues are off sick. I'm not used to setting my alarm on wednesdays, so I forgot last night. Woke up at 7AM, and it totally messed up my morning routine.

Want to get a run in and GS Legs, standing ex. only. So hopefully this afternoon will be good.

Sandra...WAY to go with MIC on an 8 inch step!! I agree your stamina has improved...P90X Core Synergistics will humble you. It is so different than Cathe's Coremax, now of you did all 3 of Cathe's Coremax workouts!!...:)..I like MIS and now for all Cathe's leg presses I sub lunges...(Wendy's fav!!)

Pamela...no, CardioX is not a great "cardio" but for me I like using it as a warm up for my runs as I am also doing the Lean rotation, a bit modified! This is my recovery week...

Robyn...yuk, politics can be crappy! I hope management helps a bit...nice you still can contact your friend thru IM's and emails...:)

Hello everyone! It's been a whole week since I exercised. Well, not really. We went on a mini ski vacation this weekend up into Canada. I was surprised how winded I was trying to do CTX Power Circuit today. Very odd. I'm looking forward to getting back to my CTX rotation.

Hi Everyone,

Woke up late this morning. I did the step portion of SJP & abs of KPC.
I hope to get in GS shoulders,Bi/Tris this afternoon. Hopefully along with my upper body work this afternoon I can fit in some walking lunges.

I had a bad eating day yesterday.x( I hope to get back on track today.

I also did 50 walking lunges yesterday and calf work.

Morning ladies! I'm so jealous of all your workouts!!! I woke up this morning feeling worse than I did yesterday, so I'm worried now that I may not actually be on the road to recovery. Will I ever be well again?????
I am still shooting for Monday to start working out again. In the meantime, I'm just trying to take it easy, but it's getting REALLY frustrating. My mind is ready to go go go, but my body is disagreeing! UGH!x(

Last night I did MIS. Does it surprise anyone else that Cathe does the bicep and tricep work with the same amount of weight on the barbell as for the squats?

Wendy - mmmmm, stretching. I love days like those. I'm glad to read that you do your walking lunges indoors. I've been wanting to try them, but I'm not about to do them outside at this time of year. I'll give your method a try some time.

Carole - really? The P90X core work is that tough? My goodness! Can you get through it?

Jeanette - where did you go skiing? The Rockies?

Elaine - don't worry about yesterday's eating; just eat well today. Nobody can eat perfect 100% of the time.

Katie - I'm so sorry to hear about your health troubles. That is super frustrating, I'm sure! I read your post a while back about having had a very bad month, and was hoping that you'd managed to get started again. Baby Katie is going to be 4 months old in less than a week. She's settled into a nice routine. She's growing, happy, and loves to laugh. She's completely enchanted by her big sister, and Paris loves to play with her, too. I love the sibling interaction. I made a small picture trail the other day, but need to add more photos (soon!).

Jane - I imagine you are going to be so happy with the results of Cathe's rotation. She's putting you through some tough workouts! Great job on ME followed by all those calisthenics (sp?) yesterday.

Robyn - I hope your day today is better than yesterday. Office politics can be so nasty.

Yes…yes…yes…As Tony would say, BRING IT! and me did tis morning :) I did Imax 2 can you tell I’m excited. Now, I'm so ready for Imax 3, going to attempt for the first time this week OUCH! x( :9

My UB is extremely sore this morning from MIS. I haven’t worked UB since Thanksgiving (slacker I know) but my thoughts are to break myself in slowly with MIS. Now on to Cathe’s Hardcore UB can’t wait :p

Any who, tonight GS Legs OUCH! I want my mama :eek: me first time. And yes, I know, its' a toughie for sho :9 :9 can't wait tho.

Hi everyone,

Thanks Carole, I think I'm going to continue with the rotatation as is until after the recovery week. I lost 2.4 pounds after the first week, and I'm actually pretty sore (the good kind).

Today was P90X Shoulders and Arms, and AbRipper X. Actually, I can only complete about 1/2 of AbRipperX right now.

Robyn, office politics can really be crappy. I hope yours will have no long lasting negative effects on you. I'm at home right now because of a shift in power and office politics. New members were elected to the Board, and the new members took an almost immediate disliking to my boss which resulted in a trickle down effect on the entire office. I hope your situation resolves itself positively for you. Even if it doesn't, use it to benefit you. Picturing certain particularly nasty individuals during certain workouts has really helped me improve my kickboxing form! }(

Na.. the politics continue. Funny 2 people have given their notice in the last week and another 3 weeks ago. None of them have new jobs.

Today will be Imax3 (although I may need to get some kickbox in) to take out the frustrations!

I'll post more when I've done the work out.

Probably the last to post :)

I did do a 6K run at 5:30PM. Almost didn't go cause it would be dark soon, but I enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the fields. By the time it was dark I was back in my neighbourhood running the second half of my run on a bicycle path that almost totally runs around my little area.

I did get my GS shoulders/Bi/tris in this afternoon.

Dutchie: You are very lucky to have a bike path. Where I live people in town are trying to veto a bike path being built were the old railroad tracks are. It would be so great for the kids and adults alike. Heavy sigh:-(

hey ladies! long time no see. today i did GS tris/chest, then shoulder, chest and tri work at the gym, abs, recumbant bike for 30 mins and a 45 min step class. i burned 1024 calories!!!!! i was psyched! (i sound like Mariangles!:7 )


Glad to see all of you being so productive;-)

Now Tammy and Carole, get back over to the arrow thread! We miss you!
