Hi ladies so much to tell you where do I start? My crazy boss found out thru rumor mill that I accepted position with another commissioner and it sent her in the biggest drama queen performance I'd ever seen. She told me she felt betrayed that I would accept a job and not tell her. I tried to explain I was waiting for additional information before I went to her but she was not having it.
Today she put me on administrative leave because she didnt like the way the whole thing played out and she couldnt trust me there in the office. This was a "cooling off" period. SHe wants time to speak to the other commissioner before she decided what to do. When I was excused from the meeting, I started packing my few thing, when she came back to explain I was on administrative leave not terminated. I told her i understood and continued to pack. I guess she was not getting that I was not coming back after the leave was up! I stopped to say goodby to some people and was told by HR I was being disruptive. So I just left. I'm soooo happy to be out of that sick environment. I believe she is being treated for bipolar disorder. I say this because recently in two separate conversations about two different people, she would describe them as "bipolar" I found it odd that she would describe these people that way and I took that as a word that may have been used to diagnose her issues.
She is going to talk to the other elected official that offered me the job, I think she wants to dress him down about taking me away from her. She may ruin things for me but I'm faithful that God is in control.
Sorry for venting on somehting so non-significant. I worked for her for just about 9 years. I feel like it was a marriage that went bad and I had to tell her that I met someone else and I was leaving her. Then she tells me she wants a "cooling off" period, so I pack up and leave the house, except I'm not coming back. Its funny when I say it like that. Similar relationship tho....
thank for letting me share.
Carmen.
