Good morning ladies - its rest day for me. Used my weighted gloves last light for just a few minutes and man I can feel it today!
I hope you dont mind I share a little. In the recent weeks I've been sad with my older son who lives in Rochester and will be getting married in September. He sent an email blast to my entire family forbidding anyone from wearing wigs, specifically me and my sister. We have very short curley greying hair and both decided we were wanted to update our looks without adding chemicals to the hair. This entire thing blew up and even my husband said he didnt want to go to their wedding. It was awful. I called my son to apologize for whatever I did and he said I didnt mean it. One day later he apologized to my by email. Its the stupidist thing but it took such wind out of any excitement I had for the wedding. My husband and sisters think I look better in the wig and should still wear it. My son and I are back to talking and I hope to be able to talk to him and his fiance (who posted the whole stupid thing on Facebook ugh!). What is wrong with these kids! Anyway below I posted pic of what I look like now with my hair growing out and a pic of me in one of the short wig I really like. Thanks for letting me share/vent.
Connie - happy birthday to the pup, is it Sherman? We have a doggie bakery here in town and get a special birthday creation for our pups when its birthday time.

so far no workout - late night at agency but maybe when I get home......
Conni - I do not like that workout - at all!!!!!
Carmen - you are right - gloves make such a big difference
and Carmen - if #2 is the wig - you look WOWEEEEE and so happy too. It's not a huge difference in length. It just looks like you straightened your hair. you are right though - what's the big deal!!!!!???? you look happy and wonderful and at the end of the day - isn't that what we are all striving for? to be happy?

Carmen-both look great though a smile in the first one would do wonders

I don't color my hair and have always had a short permed look, the 2 looks really don't look that much different on you. Who would know? Does your son know what your wigs look like or can you get a new one that is gray but styled to your liking and make it work?
I spent an hour at the gym and then did 12 min. of a taebo workout at home. Tomorrow might be a workout bust so I wanted to get a little cardio in today. Oldest son goes back to Shriners tomorrow and it will be an all day thing.
I am still down so I am happy with that, approx. 3-4 pounds lost now so I am extremely giddy about that.
