Daily check-in Tuesday 02/07

Good morning,

Yesterday I did GS Chest in the morning, and Rhythmic Step & CoreMax2 in the evening. It's amazing how your body can quickly adapt to the higher intensity workouts such as IMAX3, and steady state workouts such as RS come to feel sooooo easy. I've got some good DOMS from the chest workout yesterday.

This morning I did GS Triceps, and tonight will be IMAX2.

Dutchie - as usual, your life vignettes are so enjoyable to read. Thanks for putting a smile on my tired face this morning.

Denise - welcome to the joy that is Step Blast. My favourite Cathe cardio workout, hands down.

Shelley - don't you love the shoulder routine in PH? I love the way she ends it "Bam!" on the beat. And forget about your upper body, surely your lower body must be fried after all you've been doing lately? If you are still able to hold yourself upright, have a great time doing IMAX. It just flies by.

Wendy - wheeeww! That's a long workout, but both workouts are a lot of fun. You will be feeling it tomorrow!

Becky - I'm rooting for you, too! Kick some butt!

Jane - DD is feeling much better, thank you. We don't know what caused the problem the other night, but it seems to have been just a drive-by vomiting :) The massage sounds delicious. Enjoy!

Tammy - "I know you're tired, but jump higher!" Wrong IMAX, I know, but I think it still applies. Have fun!

Shannon - ME has a *great* abs segment; you probably don't need to add anymore. It's a fun routine. Watch for Cathe's infamous evil laugh at the end of the bicep routine }(

Conni - Pain meds are a good thing! Heal quickly!

Teddygirl - excellent job on the weight loss!

Carole - enjoy your run :)

Katie - awesome job!!! I agree; you don't get better by staying in your comfort zone.

Annette - nice workout. Using the CTX cardios with the PS series sounds like a great way to do one body part a day.

You did a workout with a neck brace on???? OMG!!! You are one dedicated and impressdive lady! Just be careful, will ya?
 
Sandra - I loved the whole thing, truth be told. It was so hard. And I love workouts that test me. I was laughing during those presses in the chest work where you stagger up-middle-down-middle-up.:p My legs are actually okay today. And yes, I love Imax too!
 
Hi everyone,

My wireless connection was acting up yesterday, and I couldn't get online. Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.

Yesterday was a 40 min run/walk and P90X Chest, Shoulders and triceps. My triceps are a litte sore today -- in a good way :).

Today is P90X Plyo X, and maybe pilates later with my sister.

Hey Becky!! I finished at 9:10 this morning! WOOT WOOT! KM followed by LIS on an 8" step...what was I thinking!?!? LOL }(
Glad we both pushed through it and now we have tomorrow to look forward to!!!:p

I'm not already thinking about tomorrows workout though (bootcamp!).....all I'm thinking about now is enjoying the rest of today with my workout behind me and maybe even treating myself to a nonfat pumpkin spice latte!!! :9

I am drinking a cup of vanilla flavored coffee that I just picked up at Target this morning. DS is down for a nap and with my work out well behind me, I can take more time for ME and not have to worry about getting the work out in. I do have housework to do though so it's not ALL a vacation today!! LOL ;) Have a great day, Becky!
 
My gosh, Sandra...You make it all sound so easy!!! How long have you been workin' out with Cathe..or atlest at high intensity like this? (not inlcuding pregnancy ofcourse!;) )
 
Good morning, Sandra, Pamela, Dutchie, Denise, Shelley Wendy, Becky, Jane, Annette, Tammy, Shannon, Conni, Teddy, Lisa, Carole and Katie. whew! Tha was a mouthful! :)

I had a doctor's appointment and I am waiting for my Kashi to digest before I ump inot TS 1 which is SJP cardio with chest and triceps. I took the day off yesterday and I am much less sore. I am going to drop Power Circuit all together but add TS 5 leg workout to my TS 2 tomorrow to make up for that day off. I am doing a 1-2 yoga class this evening also. I hope y ou enjoy a lovely day and I'll catch you when I can report I have done my workout. These threads just explode. I love that! Later....
