Daily Check-in
Good morning! I did the Rhythmic Step Challenge last night. I did not have time to do it before work yesterday morning. I love the whole workout. The music is really fast though! After doing Cathe’s newer step workouts for several months, it took me a few minutes to get my feet moving that fast yesterday morning! Can I blame it on the hour we lost over the weekend?

Oh, I did the abs and planks from Power Hour after Rhythmic Step yesterday. I forgot to include that in yesterday’s check-in.
I broke in my Terminator DVD this morning and did my first workout from this one. I chose the Gauntlet this morning. I am planning to do IMAX Extreme tomorrow morning and the Viper Thursday morning (if I can move tomorrow and Thursday). I love the Gauntlet. It is a fun workout. I like it even better than Boot Camp. I did not think it was that hard at first. I got humbled. I am wiped out now. Terminators and genie hops and straddle taps in the same workout. Oh my!
I started my fitness journey on July 4, 2003. I will be celebrating my 3-year anniversary exactly 13 weeks from today. It is my goal to be 100 pounds below my top weight by then. That gives me 13 weeks to drop 25 pounds. At 35 percent body fat, I am still far enough from my goal that 1-2 pounds a week is realistic. I can do it! I will share my PictureTrail on the 4th of July no matter what.
Wendy, it does feel good to fit into a smaller size!
Gayle, I am glad you are enjoying your toned down rotation. I think my body will be able to handle more intensity when I get to my goal weight. For now, hauling around this extra weight is stressful enough.
Annette, I am praying for you. I have not been around long enough to know all the details, but God knows what you need. It appears that you lost your mother. I am so sorry.
Caitlin, welcome to the check-in. We need some evening people to wrap it up for us! I do not always have time to respond at night, but I read this thread before I go to bed. Congratulations on your weight loss so far.
Blessings,
Heather B.
