Good Morning Everyone,

I did not have a great sleep last night - kitchen sink clogged, DD out til 1 am - how can a mother sleep well through that? :)

Today I managed - RWH chest/shoulders/triceps. Loved it!

Annette and Henriette - ooh, your names rhyme - sorry about the pain you are both experiencing. We all end up hurting s omewhere and it slows us down. I hope you both recovery quickly and can find alternative things to do.

CeciFifi, funny you mentioned your kitchen sink clogged, my bathroom sink was clogged the other morning as well ! Didn't need that, trying
to get ready for work ! Poured some Liquid plumber down the drain, waited 15 min and it seems to have helped, least the water's going down !
Things that just happen ! Part of life, I guess ! Hope to get in a good Cathe workout this evening if all goes well.......looking forward to a
3 day weekend coming up.....Hope everyone has a glorious and blessed day ! Take care......
 
Sorry gals for all your clogs.

Today I taught a circuit aerobic class today. Next week I my classes are on M-W-F but I am cancelling Monday because of the holiday.

Elsie to answer your question regarding what helps with my shin splints, it's quite simple, don't play basketball. I am not sure if it was only the basketball or also the added super intense leg w/o this week, when my legs had not recovered. I still have DOMs from that one, but mainly hamstrings and glutes.

Today I my shins felt a little better but not 100% so I wanted to do low impact or maybe pure strength. I fear something may also be going around... My stomach feels strange, not too good and my son had such a bad stomach ache that he had to miss basketball practice and head to bed. Poor kid!

I did low impact, but high sweat... If there is such a thing. I discovered someone new today on YouTube: Shelly Dose. I love the energy and the music really gets me moving. I liked it so much that I did 2 of them.


 
Hey great workouts all!! Oh, Ceci, sorry your DD had you worried.

Henriette, I've done a couple of Shelley's KB ones. She's excellent right?! :) And you can definitely make her workouts faster or slower I find.

I'm having neck & shoulder problems today, so hopefully if I feel a bit better tonight I will get in a workout like aquagirl.

Classes three times per week Annette? You're busy now!! :)
 
Hi Elsie, it has been 3 times a week since the beginning of August, we just changed the days from M-Th-F to M-W-F.

All my ladies were dead after doing senior zumba before my Thursday class so now I won't be competing with her.

I love Zumba! I did it many years ago... I think 8 years ago. So much fun even if I don't have as much rhythm in me as I would like. Nowadays I rarely do it... i have some of the older dvds and Xbox kinect games, but haven't used them much this year.

Sh'bam (Les Mills) is also super fun, in my opinion less complicated as there are only a few different moves per song.
