Good morning again!

Today's workouts:

YT-go simpli- 24 min. Weighted Vest Walking Workout
STS 2- Standing Metabolic Core workout- 10 min.
Hydrow Circuit Training- 10 min. "Habit Stacking" Upper Body & Rowing Circuit

That's it! Have a great day!

I just recently bought a weighted vest once Peloton started offering these types of classes. I went a little lighter than ten percent to be cautious. It really adds to the intensity of my treadmill walks and hikes.

Cathe Live this morning-Lower Body Power Sculpt. It started off with strength work on/off the step. Finished with standing barre, using the light resistance band. Not too crazy with the reps so it was doable for me.

Followed with a 20 minute introductory SIT (sprint interval training) cycling class. It's a new offering of classes at Peloton by an instructor who is going through menopause. She thinks this is one of the best ways to train as we age.

Have a terrific Thursday!

Great job ChelePA this AM with today’s Cathe Live—Lower Body Power Sculpt. Sounds
hard! I usually watch the Live class, but completely forgot this morning…oh well….
Your Peloton cycle class sounds fun too…..Do you have a Peloton bike? I used to use
the Peloton app to follow along on my equipment, but I had become “app poor” :), so
I gave it up a couple years ago. My weighted vest is on the lighter side as well..

enjoy the rest of your day!

Aqua girl. I use the Peloton app. So much more reasonably priced. I started using it during Covid. They did double the price since then but no where near the equipment price, as you know. I have a Stryde Bike and Horizon Treadmill. I previously was a gym member and used at home workouts a few times per week. Since getting the equipment, I never returned to the Y. Although I do miss the cycling class atmosphere.

The adjustable weighed vests looked too bulky for me so I started with an 8 pound one. I may eventually get a heavier one for lower body strength work.

Hi ladies,

I was a bad girl, I skipped the gym and went to the pool instead. I spent 3 hours and 20 minutes at the pool 30 minutes of that was in the pool(water was on the cold side) rest of the time I was soaking up the sun.

Hopefully I will make it to the gym tomorrow otherwise it will be a home workout.

Nice workout ladies.

Welcome ChelePA, nice to see a new person on our little check in.

I hear you, on Peloton’s price increase, in fact, I think I did one month at the higher
price, and then cancelled. I use IFit & Hydrow (rower workouts), but am seriously
thinking of dropping Hydrow cause they had a price increase too, & IFit has rowing
workouts. Decisions, Decisions :)

Boy, Annette, you spent a long time at the pool! You probably got in some exercise
while in the pool….boy, I do miss my pool workouts that I did when I was a member
at the Wellness Center.

waves to Siobhan, Nora, & Nicki.

Good evening ladies:)

I hope everyone is enjoying their day:)

Linda- Fantastic workouts today with:

YT-go simpli- 24 min. Weighted Vest Walking Workout- Awesome, weighted vest walking is tough!
STS 2- Standing Metabolic Core workout- 10 min.- Love this core workout!
Hydrow Circuit Training- 10 min. "Habit Stacking" Upper Body & Rowing Circuit- Wow! Your rowing workouts always make envious, well done.

Enjoy your night;)

ChelePA- Bravo on your workouts today with:

Peleton- Weighted vest treadmill walks/hikes. Sounds great, WTG!! I've use a 6 pound vest using Leslie Sansone Walk workouts, so fun and always doable. I've even used them as warm ups for other workouts, and as a injury recovery workout, just a plain challenging walk for 3, 4, or 5 miles. Pl

Cathe Live this morning-Lower Body Power Sculpt
Peleton- 20 minute introductory SIT (sprint interval training) cycling class- I love indoor cycling workouts.
The SIT sounds like a fun workout, WTG (Way To Go) & high fives:)

Have a well deserved restful evening;)

Annette- WOW! Awesome well deserved relaxation at the pool today, good for you! Enjoy the rest of your night;)

Well, I did not get to work on my room today as I had an emergency regarding my cat. DH took her to the vet thinking she had a urinary track infection and X-ray revealed a thumb nail size gallstone (sp?). First option we are trying putting her on special cat food that is for UTI's and will help shrink gallstone that requires a 1 month follow- up Xrays to see if its shrinking safely, if not expensive surgery. So fingers crossed & healing prayers for my kitty Miss Hector. Plus I'm a wreck worrying about her and lack of sleep working hard to get my room completed, missing my workouts, and sleep. Plus Monday I discovered DH & I meeting with his sister and brother for lunch to celebrate his birthday, oh boy. So that's what's going on with me today.

Hello's & waves to Nicki & Siobhan - Have a good evening!

Good night ladies;)
