Hello Freezing Morning!

Thank goodness DH walks the dog while I work out.

With all the Mike D. talk over here and at VF (thanks Elsie) I did a Mike D. workout this morning - well - a combo of three different ones. I have one of his dvds and forgot just how tough he is. I liked him. I might consider his streaming service for a month or two. We shall see.

And wowee to our workouts yesterday ladies. I just love this check-in. Without it, I am not sure I would workout as much. You ladies really inspire me everyday - not to mention all Cathletes.

I think I own a Mike D dvd, that I have yet to unwrap. It's only been in my collection for a year or two :(

I had a rough night's sleep due to my cold and a bad stomach ache, so during the night I changed my alarm as I figured there was no way I was getting up for a w/o before work. However, I ended up waking up around the time my alarm for my w/o was orginally set to go off, and I felt more alive than expected so I decided to try working out.

I did S&S Ramped Upper Body. Ouch! My shoulders, lats and arms are feeling it already now, let's see what they feel like tomorrow or the day after! I didn't go super heavy as I am just getting back into it and generally when I lift in the mornings I am not as strong as at night and seeing as I am not really fit at the moment, any w/o would be tough. I really got a good w/o in, and didn't feel too much worse for it. I definitely wouldn't have been able to handle any cardio today!

Elsie - my legs are still the same. My shins hurt every day, and my calves, hamstrings and glutes are permanently tight. The pain in my shins is not super bad as I am still avoiding high impact and the tightness is something I am quite used to. I don't really feel like I am making anything worse by working out again, but I am also not healing. Still trying to decide how to deal with it.... I love my workouts and am so happy to be back at it again, but I would also love to be rid of this pain and able to do more high impact and all out cardio and HiiTs again.

Nice workouts you two! Tough ones. Oh Henriette, I really hope you find something that will help you before long. In the meantime, do you live near any salt water pools? I know the hotels have them in your region/The Hague ......just wondering if there might be something accessible to locals. If you like that of course &/or might find it healing for your bones.

Today I did Cathe's Cardio Kicks the whole thing, then I did 18 minute Pilates total body firming and flexing, I really feel stretched out now.

Looks like everyone is getting good workouts in, keep up the good work![emoji3]

Can I ask how tall everyone is here? Just curious. I am 5ft 6.75in. So I normally say 5ft 7.

I think I am 5ft 8... Or at least that is what I tend to say. Hope I am not shrinking already [emoji51]
 
Not really. Both Dutch and Danish girls can be really tall. I am quite average height here for people my age. In fact I am quite short compared to many teenagers.
 
Well here the average height for a woman is 5ft 4 so in that respect you are tall. But I know where you are coming from.

I'm 5'4". Don't know if I will get a workout in this evening or not, got a couple new blender workouts to get
Blended. :). I have it all written down, so hopefully it won't take me "hours" like it does sometimes!!! I really
Can get into that blending! :)
 
Hi again ......so this evening I got in KCM Plateau Buster workout 2 & added on heavy one-legged squats. I feel accomplished! :)
