Daily Check-In Thursday 5/5

Happy Cinco de Mayo! I'm up so early today :confused:, I have to be at the National Day of Prayer Breakfast by 7 am. Then tonight after work I have to be at my boss' first campaign event. Not sure if I told you she plans to run for US Congress for a new seat that will open up in our county.

So no workout for me today. My body needs the rest but also needs some cardio.....

What do you have on tap for today?

Annette how long have you been checking in on this forum? Its been almost two years for me. I remember a few of the names of the others that were here when I started...becky, beaves.

Happy Friday Eve!

I forgot to check in yesterday. Yesterday was The Kettlebell Way Empire State. I pulled a muscle in my back :confused: doing snatches, which I normally don't do anymore because of the osteoarthritis in my clavicle. Anyway, I took a muscle relaxant when I got home from work and it knocked me out for the count :confused::confused:

Back is still sore today, so I'm just going to walk it out on the treadmill.

Conni ~ Good luck on your class and you most definitely should reward yourself with the Cathe pre-order.

Annette ~ ITA with your sentiments yesterday...very nicely said.

Carmen ~ Sorry about your messy car situation. I'll have to go look up love bugs.

Siobhan ~ We are having the same cold, damp and rainy days. Sooner or later we will go to instant summer and I think we are all more than ready!!

Good Morning,

I'm heading off to work. This morning I did Cathe's Stretch Max + I did back exercises. A number of years ago (under the watch of a PT) I did medicine ball twists and my back has never been the same since! Tami I have taken the odd muscle relaxant along the way - they soooo work!

The sun is shining - finally! Hopefully I'll be able to walk at lunch.

Hummm Carmen, this particular check in has been around for a very long time so maybe 8-10 years now, since my thing says I have been a member since 1999 so it has been a while. They used to be on the Open Forum until they separated them and gave the check ins their own forum.

I did Kelly Coffey-Myer's 30 Minutes to Fitness -Weights the Biceps, Triceps, and Shoulders one with active rests and a 10 min. ab routine.

Hi Ladies,

I am finished with my class this week, it was intense and I am beat!

Good news is that I passed my certification! You had to get a perfect score on both modules of the course to get that and somehow I did. Now I can get back to work and have some normalcy.

Today was circuit day - I did Jari's Extreme Ripped 1000.

Rest day tomorrow - I think I may do Tabata!!

Still haven't decided on the preorder....
