Daily Check-in Thurs 2-8

Daily Check-in

I slept like a baby last night. Cathe wore me out during Maximum Intensity Cardio. Boot Camp was a real challenge this morning. I am not sure if it was because I was doing this workout again for the first time in months or if it was because my body was still trying to recover from yesterday’s intense workout. It was harder than I remember. When I had Boot Camp in my rotation on a weekly basis, I did not think it was all that intense. It is amazing how a workout feels like new again when you take a break from it. This is the most athletic workout that I love. I prefer workouts with dancy choreography in general, but this one has a fun factor for some reason. I love changing exercises every minute too. I have a short attention span. This workout is great for that. The terminators never get any easier with time. Mercy! I modified by placing my hands on my step platform (with no risers) like I do during Drill Max and Cardio Fusion.

I am getting bored with my menus. I need to experiment with some new meals and snacks to add some variety. I am looking forward to fresh strawberries and peaches and watermelon and cherries. Warmer days will be here soon with a bounty of fresh fruit.

I am not sure what I am going to do about my rotation next week. The thought of repeating Leaner Legs and Pyramid Upper Body again is not appealing at all right now. I think 3 weeks is my limit. I need variety to keep my rotation fresh and fun. I am thinking about doing something different next week like a few total body workouts or all circuits then returning to my current game plan for another 3 weeks with the Hardcore Series and new series. I am really missing the new ones, especially Body Max 2 and my beloved Butts and Guts leg blast premix.

Tomorrow is Friday. I am so glad. I bounced on my rebounder tonight. I am looking forward to a nice long stretch in the morning and a restful weekend. It is time for a warm bubble bath.

Blessings,
Heather B.
