Daily Check in Sunday July 2,2006

Good morning ladies,

Not checking in for workout, just saying hello and leaving for the beach this morning for a whole week. I haven't worked out this weekend getting ready for the trip. I hope to walk the beach every morning.

Well I will see you ladies next monday while I will be starting a new rotation. I have been thinking about what I will be starting when I get back.

Hi Kim have a great week!

Last night I did free weights. It was one of those days I just did my own routine. Felt great.

Today will be some kind of cardio - not sure what LM maybe?

I'm loving this 4 day weekend! I've had a bad cold so I'm getting better!

I am doing Kick Max this morning. The weather doesn't look too promising today. Hope it clears up so we can enjoy the pool again.

Kali: We are having the same weather. Yesterday was the first all sunny day we have had in a LONG time and this morning it is raining again...UGH!!

Good morning all! I just finished PS chest/shoulders/tris, followed by CTX step intervals and power circuit abs. It was a good WO. I think I may try to focus on one body part a day with some cardio. Tomorrow, I plan on PUB back, MM back and CTX 10-10-10.

Our weather isn't bad - but I have so much to do inside since I've been away. I have Avon stuff to sort, laundry and unpacking to handle, my aquarium needs attention and so does my family! What to to!

Kali, it is yucky here too. Did you have any trouble with last weeks flooding?

Phyllis, Cathe has a one body part/day rotation. I tried it, but never seem to be able to do more than 1 week of any rotation.

I've really been having trouble getting motivated lately, which is very frustrating. I've never had a problem getting myself to workout before. Yesterday I did the weight work I planned, but gave up on the kick box workout after 20 min. Maybe I'll do better this afternoon. I'm planning something cardio, but haven't decided what.

ETA: I just checked yesterdays check in. (Yeah, I should check it before posting.) Kali, where is your DH going? Is he in the service?
 
Hey Guys.

Well I did KickMax (low impact) no blasts, but I LOVE those drills! Reminds me of when I used to do barre work in ballet class.

We live on a hill Robin so we weren't affected but we are very close to it. It's raining here now. Hopefully it won't be an all day thing like last week. Crappy weather all over I guess.
DH works up at Tobyhanna and is going to Iraq to work for 4 months. He'll be installing the security devices that detect the roadside bombs. He doesn't HAVE to go. But we talked about it and decided to do it. They're desparate over there for these guys to do this. I guess there aren't people in the service that do these types of jobs. So.........I am scared for his safety more than anything else. Civilians are WELL protected, but still you never know. He's more concerned with being apart. We are getting along so well and having so much fun after all we've just been thru last year, it just sucks that he has to go now. But I look at it go and get it over with. The sooner he goes, the sooner he gets back.

I'll be around more as I'll need you guys. I've been spending as much time with him as possible. It's hard to believe it's 2 weeks today. Maybe I'll check in the <---thread again since you guys are usually in there most of the time if that's ok.

Sorry so long. Just wanted to fill you in. I hope you get your motivation back quick! I hate when I feel like that. Just try to push yourself thru it and you'll be happy you did.

The beach sounds like so much fun.

Today I also did cardio & weights. I also came up with my rotation using the January 2005 fat loss rotation. I will post it on the other forum and for feedback.

Yesterday was a rest day......today I did 1 hour on the stationary bike and PUB premix down.

Kali, thanks for filling me in. I will keep your DH on my prayer list. I'd be scared too, just like you. You'll have your hands full with him gone too. You will be welcome back to <---land with open arms. Hold him tight for the next 2 weeks.
 
I just finished supersets. I really like that workout because the moves are so different that I am always feeling it somewhere the next day. I especially felt the one legged squats today. OUCH!

Kali - I will be thinking and praying for your husband and family. It must be a very scary time for you. Hang in there.

I will also keep your DH and family in my prayers Kali! I think you are BOTH very brave, and I know his work IS appreciated.

I had a rest day yesterday. I actually had my WO clothes on and the water bottle in my hand. I sat down next to DH and FELL ASLEEP!! I guess that was my body kicking me in the butt so to speak!
So this morning I did the Viper! Felt great!
