Daily Check In Sunday, August 5th

Cathlete
Good morning everyone,

Becky - I haven't heard from my doctor, which is a very good sign, if I don't hear from him by Monday I will call to verify, but it would mean that they had gotten all the bad cells out before they transformed into anything dangerous. Thanks for the thoughts, I appreciate your concern.

Phyllis and Heather - less than a week guys. No pressure here, but we do expect good, goofy representation from you at the roadtrip!:+
Getting excited for a trip is half the fun, imo!!

Today is GS Legs, and then I will add some ab work, maybe ME.

Have a great day!!

Good Morning Fitties!

CONNIE!!!!!!!!:7 I'm so glad. I was a little afraid to ask since you hadn't said anything. HUGS!!!

I did CCPP yesterday and LOVED it ! Today my BUNS are sore! ha:p I did some walking at 4.5 on a 12% incline and I think that's what did it !  OUCHIE!!

We had a terrible day yesterday with the roof. They got all the old shingles off and found a LOT of rotting wood that had to be replaced. That added a big expense (over $400 now) and a LOT of time to the project. THEN , in the middle of this draught, in the middle of nowhere, the sky turned black and it started to POUR!!!!!!!!
We have tons of stuff stored in the attic and it got drenched! Christmas stuff, boxes of clothes , books, etc... I don't know if it can all be saved yet or not !
As the rain continued, they struggled to throw up tarps but we didn't have enough to come close to covering the whole front of the house and then we got ceiling damage in the house. Every ceiling needs to be repainted.......and that's if we get off easy!:(
What a day!
They worked from 7 am until 11pm .....my poor DH, DS and a friend (the roofer). :(
Thankfully no one fell off the slippery roof !

Okay, sorry for the book.
I hope today is a better day!!
Enjoy your Sunday!
Becky
Oh, forgot to say that today is definitely a rest day!;-)

Today is YOGA day :D :D :D and I have a ton of errands that I neglected to take care of yesterday, so today is also ErrandMAX :(

Connie ~ No news IS good news!

Becky ~ I am so sorry to hear about your leaky mess :( x( Enjoy your well deserved rest day.

Heather ~ I can't wait to finally "meet you"....just five more days :D

Oh Becky - what a mess! Keep your chin up! Now, you can shop for new Christmas stuff!

Connie, I'm glad you haven't heard anything. :)

Tammy, I hope errandmax is productive.

I will do LIC cardio only remix - then on to life. There's the usual laundry and stuff. I need to sort out my Avon order for delivery. I want to get to a nearby squarium store as they are having a big sale and I need stuff for my tank. Is anyone here into fish(not eating)?

Oh no Becky, I am so sorry to hear of your trauma!!! That is just terrrible.
Do the ceilings need to be replastered? I hope not. If you are repainting make sure and put a good coat of KILS on first, then the discoloration won't seep through the paint. We have used it with great results!!

I am sorry about your memorabilia in your attic, that is sad. I hope you can find some things are okay, and that would make the situation not quite as tragic.

We are getting rain here today, and it is a shocker here too. No one forecasted anything until yesterday afternoon.

Hang in there.

Phyllis ~ We used to have an aquarium and I did really enjoy it...although the upkeep took an incredible amount of time. Anyway, We started with the usual assortment of tropical fish which included a pair of VERY small angelfish. Well, those angelfish grew to be HUGE and they eventually mated. We did tape the birth of the babies and separated them as directed. Unfortunately, they all died and eventually the parents too...that is when I lost interest and just let the whole aquarium go... :(

What fish do you have?
