Good morning fitness buddies...

I did the Viper and B&G SB abs yesterday and oh it felt good!

Not sure what today's workout will be yet, I'll post it later.

We are bringing DS home today finally!! I haven't heard from DIL yet this morning, but I can't see them keeping him another night. He ate well yesterday evening and he was up with Physical Therapy walking some. I'll be so glad to get him home!!

He is going to be out of work for about six weeks they say. He has sick time and vacation time to cover five weeks of it. He doesn't have to worry about anything though between us and his two sets of grandparents. The only thing I hate is that he was going to take time off when the baby is born in April and now he won't get to. But at least he will be here when little Joseph is born so I'm NOT COMPLAINING!! :)

Thanks again everyone for your kindness, thoughts, and prayers during this time. -

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Jane: How wonderful to wake up to your good news :7 I'm glad your son is on the path to recovery. I will continue to keep y'all in my prayers.

Today for me will be LowMax, some ab work, and some pull-ups.

Daily Check-in

Good morning! Thank y’all for the love, hugs, and encouragement yesterday. I am feeling much better this morning. I enjoyed Kick, Punch, & Crunch yesterday morning followed by the planks and abs from Kickbox on the Ab Hits DVD. It was a very cold day, and I did not venture out at all. After catching up on several responses to forum posts, I took a nap. I was only planning to sleep for 20 minutes, but I woke up 3 hours later! I think my body was drained from crying so much Friday. I slept through the Saturday evening worship service and a potluck supper with friends. I did not really need to deal with the food last night anyway after feeling so emotional. My menus for this week are already planned, so I can go to the grocery store after the worship service this morning. I bounced on my rebounder last night. Today is my planned rest day. I need to eat breakfast and get ready for church. Have a blessed Sunday!

Jane, I am keeping your family in my prayers (including little Joseph)! I am so glad to know that your son will be here when his son is born.

Tammy, enjoy Low Max. Those step sweeps trip me up every time. I am not such why I have such a hard time with such a simple move.

Phyllis, I love being a part of the Cathe family!

Conni, you are a tremendous encouragement to me already. There is nothing different you need to do.

Wendy, congratulations on your measurements.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1 NIV).

Great work outs ladies!

Jane: Oh thank goodness he's coming home today!:)

Hi Tammy!:)

Today is my rest day but I owe myself an X Stretch from y'day so I will be doing that when DS goes down for a nap.

I am officially done with Phase 1 of the X. I took my measurements this morning and I am happy!:)

Have a great day!

RE: Daily Check-in

Good morning everyone,

Jane - So glad to hear you son is coming home today, that in itself is so important to his recovery. Just being home is so nice after spending time in a cold hospital. Our prayers continue for you.

Today was a 45 minute interval run. Hello? It is 11 below here in Ohio...I don't think so! I did Amy's Hi/lo Extreme 48 minute premix, and abs from MM.

Have a great day!

RE: Daily Check-in

Hi Phyllis,

I love Amy's HLX and KBX. I also like her Bootcamp, but the APX is just okay in my book, and I am waiting to receive her step challenge, which I hear is really good.

I can definitely say her Hi/lo and kickboxing dvds are intense - just as intense as Cathe, and she has some great premixes. Worth the purchase? YES!

RE: Daily Check-in

Hey everybody.... HE'S HOME!!! We got him home about 1:00. He was so relieved to be out of that hospital. He was able to ride in the front seat of my Envoy and, of course, he had his back brace on. I am so thankful to have my son! Thank you everyone for your support. You're the best.

Heather - hang in there.... I've done well on my eating. We had chicken, biscuits, and all the fixin's from a chicken restaurant here called Bojangles this afternoon after I got DS home. Their food is sooo good! I had roasted chicken and controlled my nicely on the 'no-no' foods. One clean eating day at a time.

Haven't done my workout yet but since I did a circuit yesterday, I believe I'll do a CC on the TM. I'll check back later.

RE: Daily Check-in

I did about the first 20 mins of Baron's Long and Lean yoga in lieu of X stretch. First time doing it and I really enjoyed it.:) I may add on a Stretchmax segment before bed tonight...we'll see.

Jane, That's so great! Send him my best for a speedy recovery!:)

RE: Daily Check-in

Thank you Wendy...

Just finished CC#3.... Coach Sean is just what I needed! Now I'm going to do a segment of Total Body Stretching... those hill climbs have my calves tight!

RE: Daily Check-in

Jane: WONDERFUL NEWS about your son! I can see why you would want to have a visit with Coach Sean;) ;) CC#3 is one of my faves...in fact one of the challenges made it into the CC PressPlay workout!

((HUGS))) to you and your son:* :* :*

RE: Daily Check-in

HOORAY Jane , that your son is home now!

I know he will recover quicker and much more comfortably now!!!

Way to go on keeping up with your workouts through this and your clean eating today!

Our family (DH, DD and DS) all have had that horrible stomach bug all weekend and there was NO workout for me!;( but tomorrow is another day.
