Good morning fitness buddies..

Heather - I read your post from last night. You are such an inspiration. With your sweet spirt, you will overcome any obstacles.

I did well with L&G's yesterday. I starting to feel it a little in my lower body specially after PH the day before but not bad. ME is out of the question today though.. I think that is overkill in the weight depart. I'm doing IMAX3 today instead.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Well, today is my birthday! Thankfully, I don't feel any older....LOL! Today is HSC and then I am having family over for dinner as tomorrow is my Mom's birthday. I baked my favorite cake for the occasion...carrot cake...and yes, I will be having a piece.

I'll be doing HSC this morning.

Jane: You crack me up...ME is overkill so you're doing IM#3...YOWZERS!!!!!

Tig: Did you have fun dancing up a storm last nite?

Jane, Have fun with IMAX 3. I agree that ME would most certainly be overkill today!:eek: So how did you enjoy the pics and video of your grandson-to-be? I saw a few pics of a 3d ultra sound and they are wild!:)

Tammy, Sounds like you are feeling better. You sound perkier! If that's possible through the typed word. LOL ACK-we didn't go out last night. Us old folks (unlike you, Tammy who is still young-GOOD FOR YOU!) didn't have the energy.:-( The club is an hour's drive that we didn't feel like making so we were going to go play pool locally but that didn't even happen. DH watched TV and I read my PT manual. WOO HOO! *twirls finger and rolls eyes* To top it off, I never even workd out yesteday! What a waste!x(

So I blew off my run y'day and took a rest day a day early instead. I will run today. DEFINATELY! }( I downloaded a new ITread work out yesterday for the first time in ages and I'm excited to try it. It's a 30 min w/o...ALL SPRINTS! WOOH!}(

Daily Check-in

Good morning! Happy Sunday! It is a new week with a renewed vision, and I am ready to take on the Hardcore Series for the second time. I will be celebrating my 40th birthday 3½ years from today. By the grace of God, I am hoping to be in the best shape of my life on that day! It would be fun to be in better shape at 40 than I was at 20! :7 I can definitely get there with Cathe’s workouts.

I did not get to sleep until midnight. I woke up at 7:00 a.m. and spent some time feasting on the Psalms. After the conference yesterday, I want to focus my reading there for a season. I bought a CD yesterday with Beth Moore’s favorite songs of deliverance. I am ready to bounce on my rebounder and enjoy it followed by Stretch Max. My flexibility was so much better when I was doing Stretch Max on a regular basis. I am hoping to do the whole workout twice a week. I may eliminate the first segment that is not my favorite, but I will give it another whirl first.

I need to go to the grocery store after the worship service this morning and hopefully enjoy a nap this afternoon.

Jane, I am planning to try IMAX3 as produced for the first time this week. I have only done the premixes before!

Tammy, happy birthday! Enjoy a piece of carrot cake for me (or least the cream cheese icing)! Yummy! :9

Heather... IMAX3 is a tough workout but I have no doubt you can do it!

Tammy... LOL... poor choice of words on my part! IMAX3 should always be considered overkill as a stand-alone workout!}( However, it will definitely be nicer to my muscles than ME would be after L&G's yesterday:eek:

I completed 5 miles on the TM. I started with the Itread work out and then finished up on my own. Butt-kickin' work out, ladies!}(

IMAX3 is done! Did anyone else find those jumps along the length of the step easier (not easy! just easier) since DrillMax came along! I did!:)
 
Thank you my dear friends for the birthday wishes. The carrot cake with, yes, homemade cream cheese frosting was DE-VINE!:9 Back to the diet tomorrow.

Jane: Yes, those jumps do seem a TAD easier since DrillMax came along! Huff! Huff!
