Daily Check In Saturday 9-9

Good morning Wendy and all who follow,

L & G is one of the hardest leg workouts, imo. I actually think it is harder than GS Legs, in all honesty. You go girl!

Today was GS CT and coremax premix 2 ( complete core ). I think the premixes are harder than the set workouts, at least my abs are telling me that!

Have a great day, and GO BUCKEYES!!!!:7 :7 :7

Hi Wendy and Conni and all who follow,

I have 45 mins of StepBlast on tap. Fittv version minus commercials.

Doing the laundry, mopping the floors and cleaning the house. Yuck!!x(

After that bad tv and catching up on magazines.

Have a happy saturday.

Jenn:)

Good morning Buff Ladies!

I just rode the stationary bike 1 hour. Will add on abs too in a bit.

Today is cleanmax and DH has some friends over and they are putting a roof on our new deck !! Eventually we'll screen it in but for now I'm happy just having it covered. :)

Hope everyone has a fun weekend.:D

Daily Check-in

Good morning! Cathe has been kicking my butt this week. I have not been able to scrape myself off the floor after my workouts to check-in! The last time I checked in was Tuesday night, so this is my update for the rest of the week.

I did the second segment of Stretch Max Tuesday night. I love, love, love it. The music is so worshipful and sounds like “You Are My All in All” and “I Will Never Be the Same.” At least, that it what it sounds like to me. I kept singing those songs while I was stretching. I did not care for the first segment, but this one is a keeper for sure. Cathe’s voice is really soothing too.

I was in bed by 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night and woke up at 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning feeling refreshed and renewed. After my Bible study, I did Intervals 6-10 of IMAX3. The choreography in the second half of this workout is a little more complex. I did some of the blasts on my rebounder again. I love this workout. After cardio, I did the leg conditioning exercises from Kick Max followed by the floor leg exercises from Gym Style Legs. I am loving premixes and custom workouts instead of always doing the workouts as designed. I went to the club Wednesday night and jogged in the pool with a friend.

I was tired Thursday morning, so I slept for an extra hour. After my Bible study, I did a Muscle Max upper body premix as planned but decided to give the upper body push pull premix a whirl. The editing is less than perfect, but I only had to rewind in one place. The quick transition between the band kickbacks and the barbell curls caught me off guard. Other than that, I did not miss a beat. This is a fun workout. It is not quite as intense as the full upper body premix, and the time flies. It is shorter too. I think I will keep this one in my rotation for my Thursday morning workout. I do not have as much energy later in the week. I also did the blast challenge from Kick Max again on my rebounder. What a blast! I did the warm-up, kick and punch combinations, and stretch from Kick Max Thursday night. Did I mention that I love, love, love this workout? For all the bad press this series received, these are some amazing workouts!

I slept an extra hour again yesterday morning. I had to pray and ask God for help getting through my morning Cathe workout. I was tired, but I persevered. After my Bible study, I did Intervals 1-4 of Low Max for the first time. Nothing less. Nothing more. I was planning to do the whole workout, but I was running late and felt very worked out after the first half. I am glad I only did the premix. I did not have time to practice the choreography beforehand, but the step sweep move is the only one that really made me think. Cathe’s choreography flows for me.

I did the Core Max complete core premix last night followed by Intervals 4-7 of Low Max. I love, love, love Low Max. It has fun choreography with a few new moves or new twists on old favorites. I simply adore the reverse mambos and mambos in different directions. There are enough pivots and turns in this one to keep me happy as well. This is a delightful workout. It is one of her best since Rhythmic Step. I am even more excited about Low Impact Circuit now that I have experienced what Cathe can do with a low impact workout. I like Core Max a lot too. It is not out of my league, but I have been avoiding the segments with pikes!

High Step Challenge is on my rotation for the first time this morning as well as a possible trip to the club to jog in the pool with Rebecca.

Have a great weekend!

Blessings,
Heather B.

Hi everyone!! I am planning some cardio today. I was thinking of doing Lomax or Imax3 or maybe one of the workouts off cardio hits DVD. Not sure yet. I have housecleaning to do today and my son has a tball game later this afternoon.

Have a great day ladies!!!

RE: Daily Check-in

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

MIS and CTX PowerCircuit Cardio on tap for me today.

Wendy: Last week it was easy to cut down on the cardio as I was away. This week I will end up with 5 days of cardio, which is still down from 7 days of cardio. I have lost two pounds, as I am not as hungry.

Heather: Enjoy HSC...the music is great!

Kathy: Enjoy your cardio and your son's tball game.

Becky: Enjoy your new deck.

Jenn: SB is so much fun...one of those "happy" workouts.

Conni: Great workout. I don't think I've ever done that CM premix...I'll have to check it out.

Susan: Great workouts this week.

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

RE: Daily Check-in

Good morning ladies!

I had a huge binge yesterday. So, I am going to do the 90 minutes premix of SJP and Step blast. I have not done that in eons. It hopefully will kick my butt!

Wendy, enjoy Legs and Glutes!

Conni, Good upper body workout!

Jenn, enjoy step blast.

Becky, Sounds like a great workout on the bike.

Kathy, I vote for Imax 3, my fave workout!

Heather, have fun with HSC. It sounds like you have had some AWEWOME workouts. Keep up the good work.

Tammy, I love Power circuit. I am always amazed at how hard it is when I do it.

Hello to everyone else. Have a wonderful day!

Susan

RE: Daily Check-in

Tammy,

I will end up doing 5 days of cardio this week as well due to bad planning.

I actually don't miss the extra cardio but with all I want to include in my weekly rotations it is impossible to do it in just 4 days! I am going to have to really sit down and figure this out before I get frustrated and go back to 6 days out of desperation to fit it all in!

I've lost a few pounds myself although I think it might also be due in part to Jari's vids as since I have been using them for a while now...

RE: Daily Check-in

Hi again..checking back! I decided to do IMAX3 today. Tammie I am liking that tough one too. If you do it more often, does it ever get the slight bit easier? HAHA It was great though. I am thinking of trying one of the sculpt workouts off the power hour DVD tomorrow. Anyone want to suggest a good one. Keep in mind I did IMAX3 today!

Thanks..

RE: Daily Check-in

Hello fitness friends....

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday. I did step only from AllStep today and CoreMax #1.

Kathy, since you've definitely gotten in a hard cardio today, you could try the upper body conditioning segment off of BodyMax, it is about 34 minutes long. I think your legs have worked enough today with IMAX3, yes that one is in a class all by itself. It is one tough workout.

RE: Daily Check-in

I ended up not doing PowerCircuit as my legs were like jello after MIS. I haven't done MIS is a long time, and let me tell you the 1st 25 minutes of straight leg exercises ROCK! I have to do this one more often....a great total body workout.

Kathy: Jane's rec is a good one. IM#3 is super tough and holds a huge dread factor for me.
