Happy Saturday everybody!

I did GS C&T and Ab Hits (from All Step and Power Hour) this morning.

Today is my son's birthday! He is 26 years old. It just doesn't seem like 26 years!
 
I am headed to attempt a run at the park this morning. I'm not sure how it will end up,but I've giving it a try! I will do coremax 1 when I get home.

YIKES! I just realized I posted on yesterday's thread by accident! I'm pretty tired though so that's my excuse! LOL

Here's what I wrote:

Good Morning.

I started doing Slim and Lean yesterday but never got to finish it so I will be doing that plus some unknown cardio.

The race is today but I'm not going. Ernesto is upon us and it's not worth it to me. There are several 5k's I can enter between Monday and the end of the month! I'm very disappointed but what can I do? I can't imagine running in this weather...I'm just not that good or that serious....

Wendy, sorry to hear about the race. Are they still holding it in this weather or will it be rescheduled? I guess some people( my own sister included) will run in anything.

Jane, 26 years - unbelievable!

I'm gearing up to do GSlegs, some shoulder work and possible abs if I have any energy left. I'll check back later.

What's everyone doing for a Sept rotation?

I'm going to do S&L (for the 1st time) and MIC Hi/Lo.

Wendy: I'm a fair weather runner myself...you made the right decision for you. I was going to do MM today, but decided on S&L in honor of you...wish me luck...I think I'm going to need it!

Well ladies I end up not running. I did a fastwalk for 2miles and gosh I was walking faster than some were running! My hip kind of bothered me but not enough to make me stop! Running may have been better than fastwalking cause I take long strides.

So i am adding on some sort of kickboxing today and Coremax Seg.1

Happy Birthday to your son, Jane. Isn't it funny how we may forget some things in our lives, but we always remember the day our children were born? So special.

Sorry about your race, Wendy, it is pretty lousy here in Ohio today, thanks to Ernesto. Hopefully they will reschedule.

Today was Bodymax, the whole darn thing! I must say I was kind of over the whole thing when the ab segment came along, then I just figured I had made it that far so....

Conni, Wow, that is quite a workout. I did the upper body portion of that the other day and forgot how hard that is.

Tammy, thanks for the vibes. I made it through!GS shoulder, GS legs and PH abs - done, done, done! I found myself daydreaming about a million things, and I think that's what made it bearable! I can't keep my mind off all the things that are happening when school starts next week - lunch money, gym uniforms , forms to be filled out etc...

Hey gals.

The race does not appear to have been cancelled! I personally think whoever ran it is kinda crazy but that's just me!:p I would run in the rain but it was the wind that was scaring me. No thanks!

Well, I made up for it at the gym. I did a 5 mile TM run using my 60 min Itread work out. AWESOME work out!}( }( }(

I really need to do some ab work and SHOULD finish up the last of slim and lean that I couldn't get done yesterday...keep your fingers crossed for me that I find the energy some how! LOL

Wendy - I'm sorry you couldn't race today but like you said, there will be plenty of other races... I'm not that serious either!

Susan - thanks! You're good for my ego! I can hardly believe my children are 26 and 24 this year! Where has the time gone?

Conni - you not only remember the day but the time, 6 minutes 'til 3 in the morning. The little rascal kept me up all night!
