I'm going to try MIC with no guarantees. I may end up switching in the middle. There is the temptation of RS on the same DVD!!

Today is Leaner Legs and PH abs.

Phyllis ~ good luck with MIC. I like the hi/lo better than the step. Yesterday I did the whole workout of CF: all step and DM drills!!:eek:

Today I have a kettlebell 40m workout on tap.


Phyllis - I have MIC in vhs format so no temptation w/ RS lol - I think my issue with MIC is that its just so long and the hi lo kills my joints so much. Whatever workout you decide to do - I do hope you enjoy it.

Deanie - Leaner Legs man thats an oldie but goodie. Sounds like lots of folks are revisiting Cathe's older workouts :)

Becky - sorry I never got back on to answer your question. If you can find a 8KG/roughly 18 pound kettlebell then go ahead.
In my area I was only able to find the 15 pound kbell so thats what I got but I do have the 18 # one ordered. HTH

Deanie, WOW. what a wo! You must have been exhausted!

Vilma, enjoy is a relative term. I took a few breaks and didn't go full intensity for a lot of MIC. I had forgotten about the blasts at the end.:mad: Well, it's done and I'm waiting for the endorphins to kick in! :)

My morning started at 3 am , making it more of a ......good morning :(, but I am drinking a sugar-free mocha w/added coffee to try to lift my spirits ! ;)

Thanks Vilma ! I looked at 2 other stores here and they have 8, 10 and 15 (and on up) KB's.....but no 18. I'm going to continue the search ~!
I just bought The KB Way workout and I can't wait to try out this whole KB thing ! :D

Today is lower body for me and I'll probably end up with a premix from B&G.

Phyllis, I used to do ALL the step workouts on an 8" step until I started having back issues and now I do ALL on a 6". I still feel like I get an excellent workout, without added stress to all the joints .

Vilma, I just saw your other post. Cheer up, DD is growing up and that's a good thing. Now you two have one more thing in common. I think it just strengthens the mom daughter bond. :)
 
Phyllis thanks I just feel 'eh' over it she's still my baby but its life; good thing I had her prepared so she didn't freak out. Ah well yes now she has another thing in common with her mom and her sissy. It tugs at my heart though. I'll get over it soon enough lol

if you can't find a 18 pound kbell the 15 # works good to get the moves and I hope you enjoy the kettlebell way as much as I do .

You are a wonder woman lately...

Today was cardio - I did Donna Read's Hi/lo to the max with the Athletic intervals. Nice hi/lo that I haven't done in a long time.

Conni, i'm following Cathe's Sept rotation. IM was the end of the fist week and MIC the start of the second. I did have a rest day in between.:)

OK, my turn to skedaddle out of here! I owe, I owe.....
 
Phyllis, I agree with Connie ! YIKES!!:eek: Those are some serious, superwoman workouts!!!!
Personally I'm glad I'm not following the Sept. rotation ! ha!:p

I did my own workout from B&G. Lunges, squats, lunges, squats, firewalkers, & floorwork.

I've decided I'm going to add on a 30 min. bike ride too. My legs are fried from yesterdays TM workout (hills at 12%) and today's legs..........so I'm going to try to work out some of the stiffness.

Hi everyone!

I thought I had posted this morning, but I guess not! Anyway, I ended up doing MIC Hi/Lo and 4DS HIS step. It was a great combo and I thoroughly enjoyed it :D I have also been walking on my treadmill everyday after work for 30 minutes and I raise the incline every 60 seconds until I reach the full incline, and then go back down again.

I pulled a muscle in my back a few days back and it is really bothering me today. Tomorrow is my total body circuit day...I hope it feels better by then!

Becky ~ Great workout! Good luck with your KB search. I bought mine from Perform Better. I've got an 18, 27 and 35.
