Hi gals,

Today I taught my class, it was a boxing circuit workout. It was a request from one of my regulars.

Then I did my plank challenge for 90 seconds, and 30 minutes of weight work.

Have a great day!

Hi Annette,

Today I walked in the park at lunch and also walked the dog this morning. I don't think I will do much else this week as I do not have the time to workout until thursday.

And yes, I value certifications so I would say yes, it makes a difference to me if an instructor is certified or not.

Have a great workout everyone.

Hi ladies newbie here Today I did day two of the xtrain 90 day programme. Love the idea of check ins and hope it will help me stay on track. Have a great day everyone.

Hey ladies. Welcome PamRosa - way to go on your Xtrain program! Love that series. Great walks, workouts & teachings today ladies. :) Oh, Ceci, you did STS Plyo Legs yesterday? Good for you - I reserve these for when I have loads of energy. Love them, though!!

Annette - in terms of certification, yes I think it does matter & I see all the value it brings. However, I have taken classes that are less costly from instructors who are in training & working on their certification(s). As long as they have the basics, are safe and take the time to be in-tune with the class member's needs, then I will always continue with the class. I have enjoyed some excellent instruction from a non certified instructor. The exception to this for me is with Pilates. I will not usually take a class with someone who isn't & even then, I feel the requirements for certification is becoming less and therefore instruction is not consistently safe. That's just my opinion of course.
I have volunteered with senior's balance programs not being certified. I have CPR & had to complete an oral exam. I was under (indirect) supervision of a Rehab Social Worker.

Today I did Essentrics Muscle release & the Upper Body conditioning portion of Slide & Glide.
