Back to work today....BLECH :( :( :( Today will be PLB and a 30 min run.

Conni ~ I bookmarked Jules Benson site...that workout looks good.

Have a good day y'all...see ya later!!!!

Good Morning ! Maybe.

I didn't sleep at all last night. I mean, nada.
I don't know why...I was tired from a very full, busy weekend, but I just suddenly wasn't sleepy at all.

This morning we have windows being put in.....we got all new replacement windows!

Anyway, so this is a rest day. Due to no time and no energy !!
I'll get back to the rotation HOPEFULLY tomorrow!

Connie, I looked at the Jules Benson workout too and like the looks of it. Do you think I'll be able to pick up the choreography if Christi is too hard for me??
Honestly, I haven't given Christi's workouts a lot of time, but I just get so frustrated at her choreography!!
Think I'd like Jules??

Have a good one everybody!

Becky

Hi All.

I was away this weekend but got in a 25 min interval run on saturday. I rested y'day.

Today is BBC full body. I just got over all of the doms from the past week of BBC as of yesterday and now I am going to start the painful cycle all over again! LOL }(

Have a great day!:)

Hi everyone,

Jules is very similar to Christi in that she layers on to each combo, in that "watch me and do it," style. Now, I still have a few moves to pick up on the dvd, and I am a choreography junkie, as you all well know. I will say this. It is a fun, intense workout if you take the time and patience to learn it. I would hate for you to miss out on a good workout because of frustration. I think it may take a few tries, but the workout is definitely "doable".

Today was GS CT and BSS premixes, and abs from BM. We are going out of town for a few days on Friday so I am condensing some of this rotation.

Have a good day!

Since Wendy keeps talking about BBC I will do BBC shoulders and Legs & Glutes today as part of the October rotation (since I don't own Slow & Heavy :-( )

Tammy: Doesn't it stink to be back to work when it seems like the rest of the planet is enjoying a day off?? x( I don't know how you do a run after lower body. My legs are usually fried!

Jane: Enjoy IMAX3. This one certainly has "dread factor" for me but I'm going to give it a try in its entirety this week. If all else fails, I'll do 30 minutes of that and do another 30 minutes of IMAX2.

Becky: Enjoy a rest day filled with replacement windows from which you can get a great view while you sip tea, read a good book, and enjoy a much deserved rest day.

Conni: I am most definitely not a choreography junky, unless you consider the fact that I look like junk trying to follow the choreography ;)

Wendy: I wonder what fun things you got to do this weekend. I spent it working with my SO on fixing a leech field. Yippeee!! (Actually it is quite exciting to think that I will be saving oodles of money thanks to my SO's house fixing talents. Hey, I'm easy to please!) :7

Patti,
I like your idea of my day better than how it actually went, ;) but the replacement windows are in (guys will be back tomorrow to do the outside trim)so that is great!!!

Since I had time, I fit in Slow & Heavy shoulders and added my own 15 min. weighted ab work.

No energy for cardio today but that's okay....I'm not worried about it.

Connie, thanks for the review on the Jules workout. I will add it to my wish list !:D

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

UGH! I have officially blown off my original work out for today. I took a nap, I cleaned up the house a bit(it needed it after leaving DH alone in it for the weekend! )and changed, cleaned out and organized my pocketbooks (lame, huh?LOL) instead of exercising BUT tonight I am planning...or should I say HOPING...to hit the gym. It won't be the intended work out of BBC but whatever it is (which will likely involve either the TM or the Elliptical), it will be better then nothing!

Beavs-I went away for a girls' weekend to Atlantic City with my BF and 2 other women. We had a BLAST!!!!}(

Becky - YAY the windows are in!!!

Patty - try IMAX3 all the way through. While it does hold a dread factor for me too, I feel it goes by faster than the other two IMAXs. The last two step combos and blasts are not that bad and there is a nice long extended cool down and stretch. Try it and let me know how you feel it compares to the other two.

I did IClimb 4 which is a f/b circuit work out but I subbed in running on the TM for the cardio portions created for the elliptical.

Not the original plan but still a great work out!

See ya tomorrow!:)

Daily Check-in

Glory! I feel good! I had a delightful day starting with my Bible study. I did not get to sleep last night until midnight because a friend who needed prayer called me late last night. I was running behind this morning, so I did the Muscle Max upper body push pull premix instead of the longer upper body premix. I love this premix! It is much more enjoyable for me to do workouts like this one and Supersets. I wrapped up my workout with the warm-up, cardio, and stretch from All Step. Fun, fun, fun! I love all the mambos, spins, and turns. The cardio workouts in the CTX Series are short, fun, and intense. Even though I did not get enough sleep last night, I am still floating on a cloud tonight. I am an intensity junkie, and I got my Cathe cardio fix this morning. I had forgotten how intense the cardio in this series is. I almost choked on my water when Cathe asked if we were cooling down with her or sucking water and staring at her. LOL! How did she know?

I am getting bored with my menus and craving pinto beans of all things. I am planning to go to the grocery store tomorrow after work and change my menus for Wednesday and Thursday.

I am looking forward to receiving my package from Cathe with the 4-Day Split. The cardio workouts are short, and I am hoping that they are super intense. If I know Cathe, they will be a blast!

Tammy, I hope you have a peaceful week at work. Happy belated anniversary!

Blessings,
Heather B.
