Hi Everyone,

It's Thanksgiving Monday today. Happy Thanksgiving. We had our dinner yesterday. Elsie, are you celebrating Thanksgiving?

I didn't workout yesterday as I was a bit under the weather. I was due a day off. Today I did more EDT workouts to Cathe's Xtrain Legs. I need to workout to Cathe - I just love her. I will squeeze in a real Cathe workout or two this week. I am heading to Ottawa to drive DD back to university (5+ hours with the traffic) and will sleep over at my MIL's. Get this - she told me last week in her thick hungarian accent - 'I already made the dinner". It's meatloaf. She made it Wednesday and it's in the fridge! When I was up on labour day weekend she served me chicken that had been in the fridge for 7 days! She saved the last piece for herself for lunch the next day. Yikes.

Henriette - I do switch the moves up a bit. Like today - I did probably 11 sets of bi's so switched them up from straight curls, to hammer curls and back. Otherwise, it can get a bit boring. Looking forward to cathe's giant sets!!!!! I might re-subscribe for a month just to access her giant sets and Phat workouts.

Today I taught my aerobic circuit class and then did about 40 minutes of weight work full body including legs and abs. This also included 5 minutes on the elliptical.

Hi ladies,

Happy thanksgiving Siobhan and Elsie and any other Canadian in the group.

I read up a bit more on EDT... Got a cheap 34 page EDT book that summarized it, but didn't really teach me anything new [emoji30]

I guess I will have to spend a bit more and get Muscle Logic if I want to learn anything new.

After giving 1.5 hr bball training I went home and did 3x 15min PR sessions, so doing a total of 6 different moves, this time using mostly kettlebells instead of dumbbells. With the breaks between the sessions I spent nearly an hour lifting/swinging kettlebells and dumbbells and burning close to 500 calories! I was impressed. My HR was up there when I was working my butt off, but I wasn't breathless. Some exercises I definitely need to go heavier on. I am having fun doing these EDT sessions while listening to some hip hop. Had anyone suggested I try this a year ago I think I wouldn't have bothered as I wasn't convinced I would get as good a w/o as when I use a dvd, so having someone cue me and tell me what to do. Glad I now know I can do it... Only downside is it takes more prep time.

Elsie - we're watching Roy Donovan on Netflix the nights I don't w/o until late.
 
Hi girls, hope everyone had a good day, I was able to get in 2 30 min workouts today for a total w/o time of 1 hr.
This morning I did a lower body & abs focused workout using the Barre, bands, & stability ball. This evening I
Did a mix of RWH Lift it Hit it Back, Biceps & Shoulders with a couple abs exercises thrown in. Both good
Workouts. Cecil & Elsie, I hope you both had a good Thanksgiving.. I didn't know that in Canada Thanksgiving
Is celebrated now. . So I am learning things too, that's great! Everyone have a good night.
 
Hey, excellent workouts yesterday girls!! Wow, aquagirl, I don't know how you do it with two workouts in a day!! :)
Happy (belated) TG Ceci! Hope your drive was nice. Have the colours of the hills/trees been changing yet? No, I didn't really do anything TG related. Had a pretty relaxing evening after doing a lot of stuff around the house today though. That was really good.

I guess I am slow to get back into my workout schedule, I am not proud to say. The whole moving thing is taking way more of my energy than I expected. Life has been throwing some other sticky balls as well, as it tends to do during times of transition I suppose.
