Good Morning Everyone,

It's a holiday here today. It will be a leisurely day for us around here. We BBQed with the neighbours last night and I had a nice walk with a therapist friend of mine - all we do is talk about feelings :)

Today I did Rippedism Chest/cardio + Rippedism Shoulders/delts + cardio. I did my own stretch.

Sandy - how are you going to shift your workouts to heal your arm/wrist?
Annette - are you still going to be an instructor?
Elsie - you are always so positive and bright-sided on here. I really like your energy
Henriette - love your dedication to Cathe Live - I find I am straying again. I can only take so much of class work! I love splits the best even though total body + circuits help me to shed.

Hi Ceci,

Yes, I am still working on being an instructor, today I participated in a Silver and Fit class (which I didn't even break a sweat and I thought it was choppy), tomorrow I go and get my CPR/AED/First Aid done, then Wednesday I will particiate and observe a different instructor doing a Silver and Fit class.

So my workout included 50 min. of a Silver and Fit circuit class, then some weight work (not Silver and Fit, done after the class was over), then 22 min. on the Elliptical and more weight work including abs and I called it a day. Roughly like 85 min. total of working out, I spent some time talking to the instructor, the trainer and the gym's owner again to iron out the details. So I substracted that time from the total tine I was at the gym which was 2 hours and 25 min.

I am thinking that I will make a routine then go to the gym and practice it when no other classes are going on.

Our holiday weekend is next weekend, but hubby and I will be in Vegas next week for a vacation, whoohooo!!!
 
Hi ladies.

I had a really rough night, not sure why so I woke up feeling like a zombie and with bad back pain. My shoulders and arms are also sore, but that could be from w/o's yesterday. My back... No idea, all I know is it really didn't feel good all day. Nothing I have ever had before.

Tonight I decided not to push it with more Cathe live w/o's even though I already had my eye on a kickboxing and barre one. Instead I unwrapped another KCM dvd I had not gotten around to trying: Your Healthy Back. Normally I have no issues with my back... It is healthy, but ever there was a time to give it a good stretch now is that time. The w/o is just 30min and using no equipment. At the end of the w/o Kelly said "This was your therapy session at home" and I definitely agree with her. My back felt a little better, but it was not a miracle cure. Will do it again later this week and see if I can remember to add it in at least once a week so I don't get this back pain again.

Hopefully I will feel up for doing more tomorrow night... Otherwise I might be able to do barre stuff without hurting my back further.

Shiobhan - sounds like a lovely long weekend. I am still really enjoying Cathe Live but must admit I lite split sessions... Like the ones KCM does a lot too. I definitely feel and see benefits from those w/o's too, but they aren't as fun.

Annette - Vegas. Lucky you! I bet you will have a blast!

Elsie - have you ever used the download function on Fitnessglo so you cab do w/o when offline? Might be a good option for holidays when there is no or only bad wifi.

Sandy - I really feel for you not being able to do what you love. Any idea what caused your issues?
 
Hey friends ......lazy day here as well. :) Today is rest for me & I am taking a rest tomorrow/Tues as well.

That is so cute Ceci about your & your friends' feelings walks. Sounds very healthy to me!

Excellent workouts today all of you!! Sorry Henriette you had a rough night. Not fun at all. I do not know how to do that download thing you are talking about. Hmmm. How do I do that? (keep in mind I am slow at tech stuff. lol) ;) Woohoo!! Las Vegas baby, Annette!! Have an excellent time with your hubby.
