Today is my new Jillian dvd. Ripped in 30 - week 1. I'll let you know what I think.

Good morning all,

Glad to be back at work, yesterday was just not a good day for me. I think my PMS is really bad this month or something.

Anyways today is a new day! I was supposed to do HIS, but subbed TJ 20 workout for the cardio, did the Tony Horton Great Ab workout and then did the HIS chest and back work.

Taking Sherman to the vet later, I think he has an ear infection, poor baby!

Carmen - Let me know what you think about the new Jillian dvd. I have had my eye on that one. Is it tough???
 
Hello Everyone,

Today I did Jari Love's Extremely Ripped 1000 - minus the pushups and abs. I was too spent and just too drenched to continue. That is a 9.7/10 for me. And long. Burned over 600 calories!!!!. I have not done this workout in at least a year. It really is a cardio workout with small weights. I always find compound moves so tough.

And good workouts everyone. Please do update us on Jillian's workout. I have a few of her's but find I tend not to use them. I just don't like her style - but her workouts are good.

Just finished JM's Ripped in 30 Week 1. Format is the same is 30 Day Shred (3 min strength, 2 min cardio, 1 min abs). They use 3 lbs weights. I used 8 and 10 lbs but think I'll try it again with 10 and 12 lbs (or heavier). This workout clocked in a just under 30 min. Using heavier weighs and giving it my all in the cardio and I was pretty drippy in sweat.

There are four workouts on this dvd and I think the idea is to do one work out for one week. I cant do the same thing for five days straight so I think I will do this on M-W-Fri and do a cardio/pilates/or yoga on T-Thr. Week one was pretty tame but not a bad 30min workout. I previewed the other workouts and they look more challenging that week one.

I'll let you know as the weeks progress what I think of the rest of the DVD.
