Today is iTread 2/40 and its cold out there brrrrr 32 degrees so I know I'll be out scraping my windshield here soon.

Good morning all.

Tammy, how was your outing yesterday?

I am going to the Dr today as my knee is no better. I am worried. I think I may be looking at some major WO downtime. I have to figure out exercises I can do sitting down. :( I'm thinking that it may be some type of bursitis. I didn't feel anything occur while I was working out. It wasn't until late that night when I started feeling twinges of pain. It's definitely NOT muscular.Oh, crap I'm hating this already.:mad:
 
Good Morning

I just finished PUB- no abs. I did the pyramid system with a twist_
I followed Cathe for the 12, 10, 8 reps up, added my own 6 reps with heavier weight than I used for the 8 reps and then followed Cathe for the last 12 reps with the light weight I started out with. Challenging!!:)

Phyllis~ I hope your knee is okay. Maybe you can do Pilates till your knee gets better?

Phyllis Oh boy - so sorry your knee is not doing any better.

I did Squeeze Stronger yesterday and definitely feel it in my obliques this morning lol

Good Morning Everyone !:):)

It's SNOWING !!!!!!!!:(

We had a very cold weekend. Did some Christmas shopping, baked some cookies, watched some movies and did some knitting . We pretty much kept a fire in the fireplace all weekend and it was very cozy.

I didn't end up raking on Friday.....just walked with my mom and my dog all through the campground (while DH & DD took care of the leaves:)). It was in the 60's that day, so really nice out !:)
Other than that, my only workout all weekend was to bundle up so I looked like the Michelan Man and walked on the bike path for 50 min. yesterday. We passed exactly one other couple walking and one guy on a bike !!!! Really cold start , but when we were done I was glad we got out and got some fresh air and moved !

Sorry for the book !!!:eek:
I was thinking B&G or LL today.

Hi everyone,

Phyllis - Best of luck at the doctor, good move if it is still causing this much discomfort.

Becky - I guess they got about 5 inches of snow just north of us, we have none, but I do have an inch here at work. What is up with that???

Today was Upper body - I did MM upper body premix and the ab section also.
 
I ended up doing leaner (meaner!) legs, skipping the deadlifts and adding firewalkers and KB swings on at the end. :eek:

The snow has stopped & the sun keeps trying to peek out but it's still windy and COLD!

I have a sprained ACL. I'm so relieved that is all it is.:) i will need to lay off the cardio for a little while, but with icing and elevation, it should be better in 2-4 weeks. Hpefully, i'll be back to cardio in 2 weeks, although no jumping. I have a support on it and that helps alot. So, tomorrow will definitely be upper body. No LB workouts for a little while.

Now, I'm goin to lay on the couch with a book.:D i'll light a couple of candles and RELAX.
 
Phyllis ~ Sorry to hear about your knee. The movie was good and we had a very nice time. I think we may take the train into the city this weekend and meet up with Nancy.

Deanie ~ Nice twist to PUB, sounds like an excellent workout.

Becky ~ Your weekend sounds lovely! I can't believe you have snow...YUK! Nice job with LL.
