I'll be doing C&W after work. The next few mornings I HAVE to get up early to get a workout in as I have a few appointments after work :confused:

Deanie ~ Have fun with your kettlebell tutorial! Today is the first day my legs aren't sore..LowMax must have flushed them out!:confused:

My back still feels a bit twingy but not as bad as Saturday or the 1st part of Sunday.

I was actually able to do The Kettlebell Way + TGUs yesterday afternoon and its weird for me to say but I think swinging the kettlebell actually helped my back?

So today I plan on staying with my plan of cardio and will do Imax2 today since I was out for the count on Saturday for it.

I am being extra careful and really watched my form with the kettlebells but I'm surprised that it helped relieve some of the back pain... thats one plus I never figured in. By moving with those exercises it helped alot.

I'll be careful when I do Imax2 and try not to go too crazy with those moves lol

:DGood Morning !

After the stressful weekend around here , I am almost ready to say it's good to see MONDAY come. but not quite.;)

Phyllis, I think you asked about my MIL's fall. She has Parkinson's .
She very suddenly became very unsteady on her feet late last week. We FINALLY figured out that she had taken too much of one of her meds all last week and that's what caused her sudden decline !!!! She usually doesn't dole out her meds herself but for some reason she did last Monday and she divided it wrong !!!

She didn't break anything , but is banged up and bruised .
Now that we figured out what was going on, she is taking the right amount of medicine and hopefully improving a bit each day.
Thanks for everyone's prayers .

I snuck in BM2 upperbody X2 premix Saturday and I was lucky to do that .
So that's it since Thursday.

Today will be cardio and abs. Of course I'm still deciding what to choose...... ha:rolleyes:;)

I'll be back.

Glad to hear your MIL is improving Becky, I am glad they discovered the problem.

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, I never made it to the computer until after dinner.
I did Tracey's SSS yesterday for the first ( and maybe last ) time, then 2 segments of her coreblast.

Today was MIS. I was supposed to do just the upper body but I had time so I did the whole thing.

I actually did iTread 21 and plank work from CoreBlast and abs & stretch.

Good Morning! Late start for me today. I have jury duty and don't have to report until 1PM. I got up at 8 and had a headache so I went back to bed until 9. GS legs are done - although I didn't put much umph into it.

Deanie, OMG . Hairspray was great! It was at the Walnut Street Theater in Phila - a nice venue

Tammy, maybe that added pressure will help you get up int he AM?

Vilma, kudos to you for working through the back pain. Take it easy though.

Becky, thanks for filling me in about your MIL. I hope things return to normalcy for you. I can't remember. Does she live with you?

Conni, MIS was one of my first Cathe's. I thought I would never get through it!

Good luck at Jury duty.
My MIL doesn't live with us. She is about 15 minutes away. She lives alone but has my older DD (working through senior services) at her house helping 5 days a week.

I hope your headache is gone now.

Hi!

Well I managed to finish Imax 2 and 4reps L&R of TGU's using my15#kbell this morning.

My back is doing good thank goodness. I honestly believe by warming up my back slowly doing kbell swings really focusing on my form helped the pain.

As I sit here typing I feel really good and you wouldn't think I was laid out in excruciating pain on Saturday. I'm really thrilled about that.

I'm going to continue to really focus on my body mechanics though and listen to what this 'ol body tells me.

Becky Glad to hear that your MIL is on the mend... those meds if not taken correctly can really do a number.

I worry constantly about my mom as she is now 80 yrs old and gets dizzy spells and my $%^&* sisters ignore her so much and god forbid if something were to happen to my mom my sisters would have no idea. I have tried so many times to get her down here since my dad's death but she doesn't want to move. So the worry is always there for me.

Your MIL is so lucky she has you guys close by to her for such emergencies.

Conni there are times I barely have time to do persoanls or even get on the computer. Family life gets so busy at my house.

- It must have felt so nice to sleep in.
Everyone will be home for the holiday tommorow well except for my husband who has to work; so I'll be sleeping in a bit myself :)

Hi gals,

I am feeling better so I will be back at all my workouts tomorrow. Work was good this weekend, I missed some excitment while taking one of our residents to an AA meeting and then waiting for her, so that was good for me. I really can't take putting a kid in a hold with my knees anymore.
