Daily Check in Mon Aug 6

Good Morning (?) Fitties!

Thank you for all your concern and Connie, the advice about KILS ! Right now we are hoping that we don't have to replace drywall but we're not sure yet.
The saga continues since the roofer NEVER SHOWED UP YESTERDAY and we had a FULL day without rain !!!!
They could have gotten close to being done , and instead we sat here waiting for him to call !
My dh talked to him in the morning and he said he was afraid that it would rain again (there was 40%chance) so he wanted to watch the forecast and let it dry out a bit from the overnight rain and he'd call us later.
Well, he never called back and never showed !
We sat here waiting!!!

It rained MORE overnight and we have MORE damage.

DH thinks that he was probably sore and tired after the LONG day Saturday and we totally understand that, but if he could have just said that and maybe come and just gotten the rest of the paper down.........so we weren't left with tarps only covering half the roof and rain coming, we would have been happy!!!
As it was, it never rained all day yesterday and they COULD have come close to finishing the whole thing!
Instead now, they will have to work a little here and a little there after their regular workday and we are in a heat emergency all week with the heat index going to be over 100 everyday , and the temps reaching close to 100 degrees too !
That is NOT roofing weather, even I know that !!!x(

BLAHHHH!!!

Phyllis, I might be wimping out on the rotation!! I just can't make up my mind , isn't that awful ?
I found a few other ones that I'd like to try and have to make up my mind this morning !
Maybe if I am that wishywashy, I shouldn't even try to follow a rotation right now........I probably wouldn't stick to it anyway!!!
 :-(

Well, we'll see....hope your headache goes away.
Connie, let us know what the doc says!
Jane, happy kitchen day!

Everyone have a great Monday!

Becky

Good Morning Girls.

Vacation was nice but I'm happy to be home. :)

Today will be a circuit work out and DrillMax is calling me. I haven't done that one in quite some time. I know it's killer and it's just what I need. I haven't worked out since Thursday!

Becky: Not sure what happened but it sounds like you are having some major troubles. I am sending hugs your way.

Phyllis: Yes, I will be around Saturday to Sunday!:D

Good morning,

Another humid day around here in NE Ohio, and I was soaking wet again this morning. I did C & W today, not a major toughie but I was just dripping by the time I was done.

Becky, I hope that guy gets out there and gets the job done soon! Unless the drywall is coming apart you should be able to deal with a repaint. We had an issue with water coming into our bathroom vent fan and had to do a patch job around the fan due to the drywall just being too wet for too long. Good luck!

Have a good day

HI ladies,

Phyllis hope your headache goes away, try to enjoy your rest day!! We are also expecting rain here today too.

Becky so sorry about your roof troubles. I too am having trouble deciding on a rotation. I just don't know what I want to do. Yesterday I did HIgh step circuit.

Wendy welecome back glad you had an awesome vacation.

Conni hopefully the humidity will break soon for you!!

Today is going to be a cardio and stretch day just don't know what yet. But my calves definetly a stretch.

WELCOME BACK WENDY!!! Are you tan ?? Did you have a blast ?

Jenn, I'm sorry you are struggling too. I hope we can figure something out !

This morning I did a mishmosh....... abs from double cardio-both sections and #1 from I want those Abs Then I did a mishmosh of step using the Cardio Fusion mix and match. Did just 30 minutes.
It was fun and I was sweating when I was done.
But then again, ANYTHING makes me sweat in this heat and humidity!!
When I got up at 5 am it was already 80 degrees!
When I told DH that he said when he woke up once in the night , it was 2:30 am and it said it was still 85 out !!!! OMG:eek:
Now that's HOT !

Connie, I don't know about homeowners covering any damage. We actually tried to get them to cover the roof to begin with. A few years ago a storm came through and damaged most everybodies roof around here. I kid you not that the ENTIRE neighborhood got new roof's covered by their insurance......ours we denied !!!!!
They didn't give us a good reason and raised our rates for making a claim (or having someone out to check it out ), so we switched companies but now I know DH is disgusted with insurance and apt to think it's not worth it.
Good suggestion though and I'll see if he wants to call about it.

Hey Becky...Vacation was okay. No blast. Atleast not by my defintion of a blast. I am a do-er. I can only handle so much beach and pool. I like to go out shopping, site seeing, doing something...ANYTHING! The folks we vacationed with are opposite. They do as little as possible and choose to spend the majority of their time at the beach, pool or IN THE ROOM!!!!!!!!!   Thank god I had DH there to do atleast a few things with me. I didn't push him too much though as he tends to like alot of down time too. ACK. Myrtle Beach is also not the place for a 2 year old. I mean Joey loved the beach and pool but to do anything else with him was tough. Lots of activites NOT meant for a 2 year old so that meant we really couldn't do them either. Phooey. We are going to try and choose wiser next year....
