Daily Check in May 20

It must be Saturday, I can't believe this isn't started yet. What did you Gals get up to last night that you're all sleepin' late today;-) :D Victoria Day weekend here, first long weekend of the summer. It's crummy out but the lilacs are glorious!

I just finished a great workout, B-Max Step and circuits followed by legs and glutes from dynamic inner thigh work on. I finished with KPC abs and stretch. It was a fun workout that has my legs tingling.

I'm off to work in about 30 minutes so I'd best be getting this towel off my head and go put my face on.

Have a wonderful Saturday ladies....

Take Care
Laurie:)

Hi Laurie....sounds like a great workout!!

I'll be doing a premix of L&G/KPC today...and I get to have a well needed massage on Tues!!!

Have a great day fit ladies...:)

Daily Check-in

Good morning! I was wondering if everyone was still in bed this morning! I am delighted to report that my size 14 jeans fit again. Thanks to drinking plenty of water this week, 10 pounds of bloat departed. The itching from my soy reaction has finally subsided as well. I am not having any respiratory issues either.

All Step is on my rotation this morning. I was planning to do Leaner Legs as well, but I am likely going to skip that this morning in the interest of time. I have a lot to do today. I am looking forward to doing All Step for the first time.

I am loving the CTX Series. The Intensity Series is my overall favorite, but this will likely be my second favorite. It is very versatile, and it is a cardio lover’s dream. I am really liking the style of training one body part a day. If I ever return to workouts in the fitness center at the club, I might try this there. I have a short attention span when it comes to weight training, and this is perfect for me!

Conni, check your inbox. I sent you a PM.

Blessings,
Heather B.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me will be PS Legs/Abs and I think I'm going to try a treadmill run. I haven't been on the treadmill for at least 3 weeks, so I will take it slow and listen to my body.

Laurie: Fantastic workout! I just adore BodyMax!

Carole: I have got to try those L&G/KPC premixes....enjoy it!

Heather: AllStep is a blast. That first combo can be a little tricky first time out, just listen to Cathe's cues. I'm amazed at how sweaty CTX cardio gets me in such a short amount of time. Congrats on the weight loss...keep up the good work!

Maeghan: Enjoy your cardio!

Sandra: Hey there! How are the girls...have they adjusted to the new house?

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Good Morning Girls!

Today is supposed to be KPC but I'm mowing today so I think I'll count that as my workout!

It's a beautiful day here & I'm happy to spend it outside after rain for what seems like MONTHS!!!

Happy weekend to all !:7

Good morning,

Yesterday I didn't have time to post, but I did Step Jam in the morning. Today is a rest day, but I might do MM Upper Body Premix, if the opportunity presents itself.

Katie has started to crawl. Life just got difficult.

Laurie - have a great long weekend

Carole - enjoy the premix

Heather - great news on the size 14 pants. All-Step is my favourite cardio of the CTX series.

Maeghan - sore glutes - good job!!

Tammy - wow, PS legs *and* a run? Toasty!! The kids are adjusting really well, thank you for asking. We still haven't got their rooms or the playroom sorted out; that's the plan for this weekend.

Becky - enjoy MowMax!

Phyllis - I love the music in the last hi/lo segment of SJP. I love that whole workout, though. Have a great time. Have you ever tried the premix that circuits like this: step #1; hi/lo #1; weights #1....? It's my favourite way to do the workout.

Have a great day everyone,
Sandra

Hello everybody! Don't you just love the weekends!?

Yesterday I took a rest day. Today it's back to business...

I did the Step and Weights premix from SJP/SB. When it started in to the stretch after weights, I went back to the main menu and added the abs from SJP, then into the stretch.

Clocked in at about 1:10 minutes.

Off to get a sweet potato protein smoothie and then to town for grocery shopping.

Have a wonderful weekend, it is gorgeous here in NC.

Hi girls.

It's an SS work out for me today and that will probably be it since I have plans today...I am having company this afternoon-Debbie aka Boybert is coming down for a vist with her family!:)

I'm not sure if I will rest tomorrow before starting a new rotation on Monday or if I will do something light....Things that make ya go HMMMM.;)

It's the same length as the regular workout, but if I recall correctly, it doesn't include the abs at the end.

Cheers,
Sandra

Hi! Some of you have met me already. I'm new to Cathe's forums but not new to Cathe. Thank you for helping me understand how this forum works. I'm hoping I can check in with you daily to keep the challenge alive. Just so you know me a little, I'm 41...(ouch! I really only admit to 29) have a wonderful husband of 8 years and a beautiful little girl of 6 years named Angelica. I started working out to Denise Austin in the morning about 5 years ago after I had Angelica and noticed "The Firm's" Infromercials while waiting for her show to come on. Well, I ordered the Firm and was hooked for about 2 years. One night, my husband was flipping through the channels and noticed Cathe on FitTv and yelled for me to come in the room. I was so excited!! The rest is history. I now have almost all of Cathe's tapes and some scattered other types like Turbo Jam, 1 Gin Miller tape and 1 Christi Taylor tape. I retired all my Firm tapes and Denise Austin of course. What I've done is rotate them on a weekly basis so I get to use ALL of my non retired tapes in a 13 week period. I can't just run or tread mill or workout with just weights because I get bored real easy. I tried a spinning class once at a local gym and thought that was cool, but only see me doing that once in a while because it's sooooo repetitive and my husband and I have our own business, so time is a big issue with me. I don't have a lot of time. 75 minutes is a big stretch (no pun intended) for me to be able to pull off and cannot be on a consistent basis. Therefore, I try to keep myself at about 60 minutes 5 days per week. Anyway, my rotation for this week is my version of part 1 of the HardCore Series. That includes:
Monday: GS Back / a day of Cathe's 7 day AbTape.
Tuesday: Kick Max
Wednesday: GS Chest
Thursday: IMAX 3
Friday GS Legs

Sorry my message is so long. I wont be making a habit of it, I promise. I just wanted you to kinda get an idea who I was like I'll be learning about you!! I'll check back with you on Monday night!! Hope you all have a PowerPacked, Sunshining Day.....

Jill L.
