Whoa! We all worked out yesterday, despite the heat for some of us.

Annette - great work on planking - and, rapid gains!
Elsie - Your walk sounds wonderful and peaceful And yes, lots of texting! She is having a ball - too much so maybe!
Henriette - Wow - you worked out! I will check out that KB workout
Aqua Girl - I am not sure I know your first name - mine is Siobhan - pronounced Shi-vawn (Irish for Joan)

I am still on vacation but will go into work today. I feel I am just hanging around the house doing - not much!

Good morning to all, everyone have a good day, hope to get a workout in this evening, but work is later on Fridays and I don't always get
in a workout......except the usual evening doggie walk!

Funny my first name is Elsie & that is what I go by on forums, but IRL people call me by my middle name. I know it's a little odd. Elsie is an old family name, so I really like it.

Annette, way to go on your core stability gains! I really ought to do more planking. Also, I cannot recall - what is your son studying?

This morning I did Xtrain Burn Sets Back + Shoulders & about 4 min on the mini trampoline (before we give it away during this moving). I really do need some heavier dumbbells ....doubling em up is a bit of a pain in the arse/elbow. Anywho, I am pooped. I know I am gonna be feeling those Burn Sets this weekend. lol. Tonight, I hope to get in some mobility work and yoga strapping.

Yes, it is still very hot and humid here.

Today I did a Taebo Express workout and then went to the gym to teach my mix (aerobics and kickbox) circuit class to 1 faithful person who can run circles around me[emoji16].

I upped the ante for her so some of it was more moderate to higher impact than the normal class but she kept up pretty good.

I then did my plank challenge for a minute and 20 seconds.

I think I need a boxing circuit workout since some of the ladies can't kick very well.

Hi ladies,

Today I didn't really get a w/o in. I had a full day at the office, then assisted at a bball training from 17-18.00 then sat and watched a bball clinic until 21.00. I did join in with exercises for approx 20min so that's about all I moved today [emoji51]

Elsie - this morning when you said you envy my energy I seriously thought what energy? I have none today. Body beast is not high calorie burn for the most part, but it works my vody so hard that recovery is way longer than after several sessions of cardio. My body is exhausted in a different way and I really wish I could just relax more... But tonight sitting on a wooden bench for 3 hours was not relaxing for my body.

Annette - good job on your private lesson. Must be strange though preparing a group class and then having only one person, but I bet she got an extra good workout.

Good Friday evening.....well, I did get in a short workout this evening, approx. 25 min. Floor legs workout.
Hands & knees leg lift variations, some work w/ stab ball, & a little inner thigh, focus was mainly on hamstrings
& glute.....and my usual walk.....yes, Elsie, I do enjoy walking outdoors a lot, and my dog does too. So often
Neighbors ask, "Who's walking who? It's definitely not a speed walk, we have to stop at every telephone pole,
Mailbox post, etc...and sometimes we just have to stop and look at that one piece of grass, that apparently isn't
Like the rest ! LOL... Henriette, it sounds to me also that you have a lot of energy....and you are very active,
But I know what you mean about feeling like you have none.....
So, Annette, you had a one on one session today, that can be fun too! Do you teach at your gym?

Yes, Linda I teach a new senior oriented fitness class at the Gold's Gym where I am a member. We are still trying to get off the ground. I enjoy it.
