Daily Check-in, Friday, August 1, 2025

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did Cathe's 2.0 Lower Body 1. It felt good to have the time to work out longer today. DH has returned so he will be back on dog walking duty pronto. Phew! We walk the dog so much 'cos she's small, begs at the door and we have more of an open backyard space that is shared by neighbours (we have side fences just not back fences).

Great to see everyone checking in yesterday!

Today's workouts:

YT-treadchic- Treadmill Walk with Weighted Vest- 36 min. (I finally found a treadmill workout wearing a
wt'd vest!) Gives suggested speeds, etc., but basically she keeps the speed constant, and the incline
changes each five min. going from 1% to 6%. Makes a difference with a vest..........
YT-KatieAustin- Arms Sculpt with Wrist Weights- 12 min.

Today, I scrubbed 1 bathroom (tub, sink and toliet) right after my shower .

Then I did CDORNER 's latest Kickbox and Core 35 minute workout off YouTube. The same one someone did yesterday. I just did other exercises for abs since I don't do planks. It was good and sweaty fun.

Though I did have to fight YouTube because it logged us out and I don't know the password my hubby used so I had to create an account myself which of course took time. Technology, great when it works.

I need to do more cleaning since it is cooler here.

Have a great day!! Oh and I am sore from yesterday's mega workout.

Linda, great workout! Especially with the weighted vest. I'm sure that makes a big difference and the incline!

Annette, you just don't stop, lol;) I agree with you about technology! I am challenged when it comes to that. Good workout
 
Yes, Annette, it does feel better, but I am being careful…not walking as fast, keeping
squats, lunges, deadlifts (if I do them) a lesser range of motion, those type of things,
in other words, trying & I emphasize “trying” to be smart :)

Good job with CDorner’s latest 35 min. Kickboxing on YT. I don’t even use a signin
on YT…I just do them :)
 
Cathe Live 505-Glute Camp. Medium fabric brand and light resistance loop used. This type of routine has a little bit of a dread factor. Standing barre moves in the beginning and finishes on the floor. My glutes were definitely feeling it even though Cathe isn’t crazy with reps. It doesn’t take much for me. Followed with a 30 minute power walk on the treadmill. Lawn Max this afternoon if it doesn’t rain.
 
Hey gals, you should be proud of me...I just finished cleaning all the shelves and drawers and sides and bottom of the refrigerator side of my fridge!! I absolutely hate cleaning a fridge but I did it!! Now will my husband notice, we shall see. Took me about an hour, plus I cleaned the sink and toilet of the downstairs bathroom on top of that. I guess one day I will have to do the freezer side, sigh. One milestone at a time.
