Daily Check-In for Sunday July 8th

Good morning to everyone!!! I'm about to head out to the gym with DH to do a good leg workout. I know I'm going to have to kick my A**:7 Literally bec my glutes are what I'm gonna have to shape up the most in only 10 weeks before my first competition. Then it will be off to church and spending some time with some wonderful people growing closer to the most important person in my life! Hope you all have a fabulous day!!

Good morning Tina and all who follow today,

DH was feeling pretty tired from his first week at work, so we slept in this morning and missed church. I have messed up my midback on my left side pretty much so I just did YogaSculpt today and then some crunches, but it is pretty painful. I may have to do the doctor gig if it doesn't improve in a few days, I don't like having my fitness routine snagged!

It is going to be a hot one today, yowza!

Good Sunday Morning Ladies!

My foot is still sore but can now handle the weight of walking so today I'll be doing segment 1 of CoreMax, and hope to jump right back into my rotation on Monday morning.

Well I thought I got all the glass the other day from my bedroom carpet but my soon to be 9 yr old daughter (she turns 9 on the 10th of this month) found another of my husband's glass pieces when she too stepped on a piece on her right foot. This was in the family room.

Needless to say I was more that a bit angry with him as he did a piss poor job at cleaning up the tiny pieces of glass from the other night, and then trekking them throughout the house so yesterday was another day where I took out the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed our wood floors throughout the first floor as she cut herself in the family room, then went back over into each of the bedrooms and vacuumed all the areas going over them at least 3-4 times with the machine.

It's funny though as I demand everyone here to remove their shoes before coming in and of course my husband never does because he thinks he doesn't need to, he's lucky that I just ended up flinging all his stupid shoes out the back door and now he knows to do a better job at cleaning up his messes, although I still need to bark at him to remove his shoes when he walks through the door. sigh!

Good Morning Ladies.

Yesterday ended up being a total rest day just as I had suspected it would be.

My neck is on the mend now though. I feel much better. Thank for asking, Tina. I should be 100% by tomorrow I think. :)

I was able to get to the gym this morning. I did my 20 mins IClimb work out and then a 1.5 mile run.

Vilma, glad your foot is feeling better, sorry about your dd's foot I hope it wasn't a bad cut. And a Happy Birthday to your daughter, I will wish it early in case I don't get to check in on the 10th. My DSD is also 9.

Tammy it's going to be a hot one here to. In the 90's for the next 3 days as per the weather channel.

Wendy hows your neck? I also have a question for you I read post where you stated you did a rotation with 3 days cardio 3 days strength. Was this a rotation you found on the forum or did you make it yourself?

Today is going to be a cardio of some sort and then off to the pool.

The 3 days strength, 3 days cardio I did while doing the X. I am currently doing a rotation that is basically 3 days of cardio as well with 3-4 days of strength which I created myself using the GS series and the Pyramids.

Neck is on the mend...in fact...it's ALMOST perfect! YEAY!
 
Well...my own B&G workout at the gym certainly kicked my butt! Which is what I was hoping for:D I will just be awaiting those DOMS to arrive!!! I think I'm gonna do some Cathe abs in a few minutes (somehow I forgot today was an ab day earlier...but go figure that I have to remember). Glad to hear that everyone is enjoying their workouts or their rests - especially those of you who need their rest!

Wendy and Vilma~definitely glad to hear that your ailments are doing better:)

Phyllis~I'm doing my very first figure competition in September...but in order to get my muscles tight enough I have to lift pretty heavy. So...that leaves me with no upper body Cathe and only one lower body Cathe a week with the rest being heavier at the gym. I still get to do some of her cardio though. I would miss her too much otherwise. I'm sure you understand that love hate relationship :p

Hi all,

I did Cardio Fusion all step today and then went to the pool. I could of stayed all day but my dsd was hungry and cold and ready to go. Oh well if I don't have to work Tuesday maybe we will go back to the pool.
